Good

Location was great and loved the apartment it was very clean and had everything we needed. Access was easy and even though you do not see staff they kept in touch my email with all the instructions needed

The heat in the room was too much. There was a fan but it wasn't the greatest. Even though the apartment was lovely. I didnt sleep. Maybe air con would be good for hotter months to keep it comfortable.

There was a dirty sheet packed into the pull out bed. the bed wouldn’t pull out unless turned around the other way, as the TV table / cabinet was in the way, and if it had would have blocked the way to the bathroom from the bedroom. We could have done with a cooking dish, so bought one for ourselves. We didn’t notice until we needed it that there was some cutlery missing. Ate out on second night so not really worth getting them replaced immediately but did make aware on leaving so they couple be replenished for the next guests.

Hopeless communications

Nothing.

Communications were useless. On the Friday I told the owner I wasn't going as my father had died. I got an email later reminding me about my stay. That evening I got another email hoping I was enjoying my stay. I told them again I wasn't there because my father had died. On Saturday I got another email reminding me about checking out on Sunday. So basically this owner takes no notice of the messages you send them...just as well nothing had happened at the property else I would never have got hold of them. Ignoring messages is bad enough but under the circumstances made it even more stressful.

Clean and had all the facilities for an apartment.

It was exceptionally noisy on the street just outside the apartment, so we got very little sleep sadly.

Comfortable accommodation in a central location.

The room itself was comfortable with a good sized kitchen and bonus - a washing machine!

Bathroom has a broken shower head holder and the shower drain wouldn't drain without removing the whole drain cover (not a nice thing to do in paid accommodation). Very close to bars and when we checked in with young children an inebriated man, holding a glass of beer followed us into the lift. Walls between accommodation are very thin and on a Friday and Saturday night there was a lot of night activity!

everything you need

really good for what we needed, close to the centre of Halifax, everything you need including plates and pans.

It was incredibly hot and very uncomfortable because of this, there was only one fan which wasn’t much help, but again not much could be done about the heat without air conditioning being fitted. The rooms were very bright as the blinds weren’t great so a bit tricky to sleep in, could do with curtains as well as blinds or black out blinds.

Apartment was spotless, in good location. One idea would be to leave instructions for how to change the thermostat as it was very hot but let's not knock the weather😊

Too hot, but otherwise spot on and then some.

I liked how close it was to everything. The place looks lovely and feels homey.

It's not the properties fault I stayed on extremely hot days and the windows are bolted down so it became the worst place to be but a good fan in the bedroom should fix that.

Halifax apartment

Well equipped kitchen. Shane was very welcoming and helpful. Nicely furnished. It's an easy walk into central Halifax. Check-in was very straightforward.

Bed was not the most comfortable and there was only one thin pillow for each person. I was on my own so used both but they only added up to one fairly thin normal pillow. On one evening the lift wasn't working but that was probably good for me. The room was a bit smaller than I expected.
