I genuinely do recommend it but if you have high standards, it might not be for you.

I want to start by saying that I genuinely recommend this hotel. The positive reviews about this property are definitely accurate. My experience here is more about my *own* preferences than anything else. After my incredible stay at Only You Valencia, which is truly magnificent, my expectations were HIGH. That said, Only You Valencia is a 5-star hotel, while Only You Atocha is 4-star, and even though it’s just a one-star difference, I could feel it. The materials in the room didn’t quite meet my expectations—the toilet was loose so it moved a lot and made such a racket every time I sat on it that I feared for my life. 😂 The flush button felt like it was made of the cheapest plastic, and don’t even get me started on the toilet paper—it was the kind you’d find in a public restroom, which was a bit disappointing. I know it’s a minor thing, but these details matter when you’re hoping for a comfortable stay. The room itself was pretty small, and while it worked for me because I was alone, it’s hard to imagine how two people would manage. I found myself crab-walking around my luggage, which might not have been as easy with someone else there. I had a deluxe room, so maybe the other rooms are bigger. I think I’m just at a point in my life where I lean toward higher standards, and that’s okay. Despite that, the location of Only You Atocha is fantastic. It’s literally right across from Atocha train station, so it’s super convenient. Plus, El Retiro Park is just next door, and it’s gorgeous. I really enjoyed walking through the park and over to the museum. The area itself is charming and safe, which made my stay even more pleasant. The check-in staff were lovely, and the lobby design is really creative. Overall, while I probably wouldn’t stay here again because of my personal preferences, I still trust the Only You brand. I’m looking forward to trying the Only You Boutique in Madrid next, as I think it might be a better fit for what I’m looking for.

Very cheap toilet paper. Deluxe room is quite small - you’ll need to walk like a crab 🦀 if you like to leave your luggage bag open. My toilet seat was loose and made so much noise but that might have just been my room and not every single toilet.

Excellent hotel!!

Very comfortable bed and pillows! Beautiful, comfortable, spacious room with all the amenities. Next to the train station. Very polite and helpful staff. Special thank you to Alvaro, thank you for all your help 😉

Funky hotel by art galleries with lovely staff

Nice vibe with the exposed brickwork and cool prints on wall. Comfortable bed and nice big shower. I liked the nespresso machine in room and pump dispensers of the toiletries. Exceptionally pleasant and helpful staff. Water and sweets available in lobby.

Slightly further out of the main centre but very close to the art galleries and huge park. Metro right outside which was easy to use. Could walk into centre if you fancied a stroll.

Very pleasant. Great breakfast buffet

Absolutely amazing staff. Clean and nicely decorated room. Everything worked as it’s supposed to.

Trendy and modern hotel with great facilities and easy access to transport links.

The hotel is great, with a cafe-bar downstairs and a restaurant upstairs. Clean, modern and everything you need at hand. Location is very convenient for access to the train station.

There's not much not to like at all. The service was perhaps a little slow, with the bar and restaurant staff being not so observant and difficult to get the attention of.

Location very near atocha train station. The motro is right in front of the hotel. from the hotel you can walk to Retiro park. Hotel staffs ate very kind and helpful.

I appreciated the very good services from the reception. Especially the lovely girl Dona and the wonderful guy who help with luggage. Overall experience good.

The ONLY flaw was the women working on the breakfast area, making omelette. I don’t understand why her attitude was not good at all. Interrupt me when I order my omelette. Giving me and my companion this spying cold look when we leaving the breakfast area. And even worse, I saw her greeting other guests when they leave. Is that about race or something? I can’t imagine. Hope this wonderful hotel can teach her how to treat guests without bias or Preferences.

A great place to stay in Madrid!

The location is perfect for travelers as it is across from a major train station and also near important museums. It has a nice lobby with a bar, a cafe, and a barbershop, and a rooftop cocktail bar and restaurant with a great view. The rooms are clean, stylish, and very comfortable.

The hallways are a bit dim and could do with a brightening, and you may have a long walk from the lifts to your room.

Looks better than it is

The views from the terrace. Location.

Breakfast was below expectations for this kind of hotel. Variety, quality. Cheese was off, main area was kind of unattended (I had to clean several surfaces myself). No spoons at the coffee station. Saw how a cook opened the store bought pancakes bag in front of me at the buffet and replenished the Bain Marie. All in all not a good breakfast compared to their hotel in Valencia, which we know well. A pity if you ask me…

Fabulous place where to stay in Madrid

Good location, especially connections through the subway and train. Excellent facilities, rooms, and restaurants, with a fantastic terrace on the rooftop. The breakfast is excellent, also at the rooftop. The people are all very kind, helpful, and attentive.

The area for drop-off from a car or a taxi, also for pick up a taxi, is minimum and not in front of the entrance.
