This two level home rests in the beautiful landscaped facility of Golden Pond Resort. With sleeping for up to 18 guest this makes for the perfect family gathering. You have two levels, each comes with 4 bedrooms and two baths, also a fully equipped kitchen open to the dinning room and living room area on each floor. You have ground access to each level as well. If you do not need both floors then we can do just one for up to 10 guest. since each floor is it's own unit, there is no inside access between floors. There are stairs on the rear deck to go between floors. The upper level has about 800 sq. feet of decking with seating for 12.
The lower level has a covered porch with ceiling fans and lighting for night dinning outside, along with a table that seats 8.
Your backyard is 200 feet of rolling hill to the play area with slide and swings for the kids, as well as volley ball, tennis, horse shoes and corn hole, or a dip in the pool. You also have a fire pit right out the back door.
We are located just 3 miles from Conley Bottom Marina for all your boating needs. As well as several other public lake access within a couple of miles. There are four different golf courses within a 40 minute drive.
There are several attractions within a 10 minute drive, such as the historic Brown-Lanier house from the battle of mill springs. Which is still one of the largest water wheels still used today.
There is the Wayne County museum, and
There is Burnside state park only 20 miles away. Water park in north Somerset, as well as movie theaters and shopping mall.
Lake Cumberland may be the big draw, but for those into hiking, Cumberland falls is about 45 minutes away with organized trails as well as the famous moon bow.
The scenery alone is worth the drive.

The house was nice! Family enjoyed all amenities! The pool, volleyball court and play area was close and fun! The 8 minute walk to the winery didn’t pan out, it’s been closed for 2 years. It was a fun time!!

There was nice amount of space for all seventeen of us at this clean two story duplex. We enjoyed the recreation area at the bottom of the hill. Visiting Mill Spring Mills Historical sight was fun for everyone. However, the highlight of our trip was getting to see the Moonbow at Cumberland Falls on the only clear night of our trip. This is a very nice place to stay, with plenty to do even on cold winter days.

The property was as advertised with plenty of room for our family group totalling 16. Communication was good and checkin was minimal and swift. It was very clean and had an abundance of fresh towels. Television and internet worked well and quickly. The space was such that we could gather and play games and enjoy each other’s company, but without being on top of one another. Perhaps the best was the outdoor games and pool. With tennis, basketball, corn hole, and horseshoe pitch, there was always something for everyone. The pool was delightful and appeared to have been recently refurbished. The water was clean, cool, and refreshing, we enjoyed it immensely. The location was central to a wide variety of activities and had nearby shopping. The kitchen was a good size for meal preparation. The only negative was the minimum utensils and prep items there. We would definitely return if coming to Kentucky again.

Property was perfect for the 13 of us that stayed there and then hosting a family reunion over the weekend. The swimming pool and play grounds were a hit with the teenagers and little ones. Everyone wants to come back next year!

We had a good weekend stay. Steve was easy to work with and even let us back in when we forgot some items upon leaving. The unit wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. I guess there was not guests in for a while as he said it’s rented mostly in the summer. Wish the check out time was later. I felt rushed to get out and. It was nice that we were allowed to check in early and we had a nice time with the family.

We had 16 people at the house. Ten adults, six kids under 6. It is plenty big! We were aware it is really two different rentals with no access inside to each other. I’m not sure we would do it again because it kind of separated the family. However that is no fault of the rental it is just our families choice. All the amenities were exactly how they were described. The pool is a nice size pool that we pretty much had to ourselves all week. Steve was very helpful and attentive when we asked for something. We didn’t need much so we hardly saw or talked to him all week. All in all it is a very nice place.

Met all my families criteria for housing, easy to get in and out of and parking ample; 4 bathrooms conveniently located between the bedrooms; well equipped kitchens; comfortable couches, beds, pillows; pristine swimming pool within short walk with fully functional restroom and fridge; televisions actually had working cable(unlike most that make ya use your streaming service) and the manager was prompt to solve any issues we had, to include going and buying us a new fridge without delay!! Can’t say enough!! Will be back

The location was great as we wanted to spend a couple days on the lake. Only minutes to Conley Bottom marina. There was ample space for everyone with a nice pool just down the hill. My only complaint were the beds. They all need new mattresses. There were major sunken spots in most all of them.

Great area . Lower level wasn’t as clean as upper- didn’t look like it was cleaned. Dirt , dead bugs behind the entertainment center and couch. Door knob On lower unit difficult to open. Upper unit was newly remodeled and great.

This is a nice vacation place with decent neighborhood. Only thing about property is that it doesn’t have indoor access for basement/lower level which is inconvenient for larger group. Also there are very few restaurants nearby.

The property was just what we need for grandparents, 4 other adult family members and three grandchildren. The property was very clean , two nice grills , comfortable beds with obviously new linens and new towels , etc. On property were many amenities including a very clean pool with well-equipped restroom. Several of our family members really enjoyed the fishing pond. (They persisted .) Resort is very close driving distance to Conley Bottim marina , which is fabulous .

We really liked our stay as it was super close to the common pool and other amenities at Golden Pond Resort that were enjoyed by our grandchildren and adult children alike. It also had close access for our boat to get to Lake Cumberland.

We have never been to Lake Cumberland before and trying to find a place large enough for our group was a challenge. Our entire group was impressed with the duplex and the resort property. The playground was just at the bottom of the hill which allowed the kids to have their own place to play. The pool area was well maintained. The house was in great shape, well furnished, and very clean. Steve was excellent to respond to questions and to keep clean towels available. My family & other members of our group are already planning future trips back to Golden Pond.

If I'm ever vacationing in the area I will definitely be coming back. Perfect location for kids as well. The patents can sit on the back porch and watch kids play in the well maintained playground bellow. There is also a sand volleyball pit and a pool next door as well.

We had our family holiday get-together for 4 nights at this location. 16 family members in all and plenty of beds and bedrooms for everyone. We were lucky to have nice weather to use the outdoor recreational facilities for a few of the days and the kids just loved it! Playground, tetherball, cornhole, and more. There was plenty of bedding, towels, and dishes to go around. The only "problem" we encountered (and it wasn't a big deal) was with a few missing kitchen items, like the downstairs didn't have oven mitts or cutting boards and the upstairs one didn't have a broom and dustpan. We just shared back and forth! If you're only renting one (top or bottom) you might want to check when you arrive that you have all the necessities so you can contact the owner if you don't. He is very responsive and very easy to reach! We had a blast and highly recommend this location.

We wanted to go on vacation with our entire family - adult children as well as 8 grandchildren, ages 10 months - 10 years old. This place worked great for us! It's in a resort community, and all the activities for the resort are located right next to this property. This includes a pool (which was closed because it's October), a volleyball court (which the kids used as a giant sandbox), tetherball, horse shoes, corn hole, and a playground. There were a lot of activities available within a reasonable driving distance, as well as T.V.'s with movie channels, etc. available - wifi included. We brought our own games for game nights. We loved that the place was big enough for the adults to all have their own rooms and the bigger kids had the bunk room; there are two full kitchens that met all our needs; we used the decks and grill quite a bit, as well as enjoyed the outdoor fire pit for night time hotdogs and s'mores! It was the ideal property for our family vacation! Steve, the manager (owner?) of the property always responded quickly to any questions we had before or during our stay.
