Breakfast was good, peaceful place to stay, parking was good
Room seemed dull, didn't match pictures. Coffee out of stock, porch area needed swept and kept a little better

We loved the cabin and location. We stayed there 10 years ago, and it is just as good now as it was then. We had all we needed for a relaxing time, so peaceful and quiet. We will definitely go again.
Wish the cabins had a kitchen but it was good with a grill

Lovely location. And many options to choose from breakfast. Just wish the breakfast menu changed slightly everyday so that it doesn't get monotonous.

Please bear with the staff that some of the dining facilities might be closed on Mon/Tues. They will provide you with a list of alternate venues in the area

Perfect location
Door locks to the outside were broken so anybody could come in. I did not feel unsafe, but it was worrisome. This is a state park. That being said the facilities were fine other than maintenance

Close proximity to Cumberland Falls and lakes within driving distance.
Dirty and lacked reasonable maintenance. Mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinets, in all the loosely scattered random utensils and dishes. Dust and food stains on the outside of the fridge. Mold on the ceiling from a water leak near the fireplace chimney. Wi-fi is shared across several cabins and had a very weak signal...would not stay connected. And, the sewer/septic line backed up into the tub/shower. Nothing like poo in your tub to get the day started. The office was "closed" despite being told someone is there 24/7. The guest next door decided he wanted our parking space (no reserved or assigned spots) and told us we had to move. After calling the office to ask if they could remind the other guests to respect our privacy it is not clear if the message was delivered or just ignored.

We enjoyed being in the middle of such a beautiful area. Was very peaceful. We were wanting to catch the moonbow and some hiking and did both!
No complaints

Property is "tired" - it has the potential, with a little TLC, to be great.
The staff was warm and friendly, exemplifying southern hospitality. Smiles were abundant.
The breakfast was okay, but the dinner buffet was great. The fried catfish was perfect (I typically do not eat), and the baked chicken was also. The okra and mashed potatoes were spot on. Too bad the green beens looked as though they were just poured out of a can (some butter or bacon would do wonders for them).
The cabin needs updating. The bed was not great, and only two pillows just aren't enough. The paint looked tired, and the bathroom needs some TLC...
Worth the trip.

Beautiful spot.
Not kept up, trash around the falls, accommodations ran down, smelled bad, dirty. The food was terrible. Not worth the money. We had to ask for refund and left early.

Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. We got a good night sleep each night. This was close to the falls and the bluegrass event we attended.
The rooms and furniture needs updated. Breakfast was only continental, so we had to drive a good way to have breakfast. The room we were in 321 had a terrible view, you looked out at furnace work and the back of another section.

The kitchen was closed. It was nice in a nice location. Was just like the pictures. It was quite.
Needed to be a little cleaner. Could use updating.

I remembered the park from childhood. Dining room at lodge was understaffed and food was marginal. Staff was kind and helpful, but there is little to bring me back or to recommend. Only passed the stables every day, and think there’s a PETA case waiting to happen. Horses were eating from their muck pile! Pool not open, trails not in good shape, and the falls were a big disappointment!
Cabins too close together, no decent dining facilities, no pool (it was June in KY!!), beds with poor mattresses. Shall I go on??

Quiet
Cottage was a duplex and we could hear the people next door. The food was not good.

It was a nice quiet area with lots of great trails.
The cabin needs a lot of work. Windows without handles, kitchen door hinges need tighten and various other items.
