Lovely room and owners

The owners were very welcoming and really looked after all my needs while I was there. Felt like home away from home. The room was very large and clean and had a balcony as well to chill on. Really would highly recommend this place.

Best place to stay in Hikkaduwa, I highly recommend this place

The best place we’ve ever stayed in Sri Lanka! I’ve traveled several times around Sri Lanka before, but I’ve never met such wonderful owners like these guys, they are really the best! Everything was comfortable and clean. First time in Sri Lanka I met a place where owners make a cleaning EVERY day, it’s fantastic!

Perfect place for rest; house has everything for cooking on very light and clean kitchen! I also liked the location of this house, it’s close to every shop and restaurant but a bit aside from the main road, it’s very comfortable, not noisy at all. Owners were so good, I still remember about them with a warmth in my heart!

We stayed 3 nights, quality - price is great. Bedrooms and bed are big and daily cleaned. Location perfect, near to the beach and main surf spots. But the best overall are the hosts, amazing people, really warm, kind, welcoming and smily. They even invited us one night to have dinner with them (food was amazing). Defenitly I recommend the place

The owners Susanne and Tushara welcome you in their’s spacious beautiful house and make you feel like at home. House is very stylish and super modern,hidden inside lovely green garden with palm trees. Rooms have all the equipments you need.Theyre very cozy and also spacious! It was our BEST accomondation in our 14 days holiday!

We love it very much

We would like to thank owners for perfect homestay. Everybody was very friendly and polite, so it creates an atmosphere of good relaxation and a great mood. Everything is clean, comfortable and tastefully done. Nice design, good furniture, everyday cleaning, good wi-fi. We liked to sit on the rooftop or private balcony area every day. The house is very close to the sea, 5 minutes on foot We spent very good time here and hope to come again! Thank you all very much!

Amazing!

I loved everything! The rooms are spacious, light and suuuuper clean! I love that there is a kitchen to use and that all rooms have a place to sit outdoors. I love that it's just 3 minutes (max) to the beach. above all I love the owners they are beyond helpful and super friendly!

This is, by far, the best place to stay in Hikkaduwa. The owners are wonderful. The location is super close to the beach and delicious restaurant options.

Best place to stay in Hikkaduwa with super fast fibrewifi

Everything was just perfect. SUPER fast fibrewifi, no problems at all with working onlinen. Only 1min walk from the beautiful beach and many many restaurants and small shops. Nearest supermarket also only few minutes walk away. Clean rooms, owners was super relaxed and chill and always there to help you with everything. All i can say is that this was the best place we stayed in Hikkaduwa.

Super stay in Hikka

Everything was in a high level Want to suggest this place to everybody Room was big and very clean (Room cleaning was everyday) It was a balcony with a garden view It was too kind of conditions Hot water I was leaving on the2nd floor - WI fi was good too The beach is in 100meters Many restaurants, serf school was close Bus station 20min walking Turtles beach just 10-12min There were too amazing dogs 😀 which always meet you) Big big thanks for very comfortable pillows, I was sleep like a baby Big Big thanks for Susanna for her kindness and smile For coconuts and extra day staying Waiting for the address for sending a postcard) You are amazing host

Close to the place is a club and every Friday there is a party If you a party maker is OK) if not it will be loud But the earplugs is available in the room

The best place in Hikka

It will always my home in Sri Lanka. The owners( Tushara and Susanne ) are very openminded and kind people. They all time helped guests and shared a lot off usefull information. This home all time cleaned and you will feel safety and security. Thanks for my vacations!!

We had the room with ac and the balcony and really loved it! Very lovely owners and perfect location - less than 50m to a nice beautiful beach. Clean rooms, great wifi and daily room service. Couldn't recommend the place more :)

Alvas House has the most kind and helpful hosts. Really felt at home. The room was big and very clean

On friday there is a party somewhat close by, but you are in Hikkaduwa, so that is to be expected :-). The room however is good with sound isolation. Other days totally quiet

Exceptional

We have been traveling for 4 weeks and not our first time in Sri Lanka. This was the nicest room we have had on our trips. New, clean, lovely balcony, nice kitchen and friendly owners. This is a really good location in Hikkaduwa, and even though you can hear the train, it didn’t bothered us. We would differently recommend this place.

If I have to say something I didn’t like, it would be that the water pressure in the shower was a little weak, but still a really nice shower :)

Awesome stay

Thank you very much for the great stay and the warm welcome. The interior of the room is really modern and comfortable. I loved the tropical view! There is even a small shared kitchen. Everything is super clean. And the owners are lovely and helpful. Its just 1 minute from the surfer beach and swimming area, literally across the street! I can recommend to everyone this place! We would love to come back one day!

Thushare was an extremely personable guy, really friendly and helpful.

Situated 2 mins walk from surfing main point, very convenient for cafes, restaurants. But sited down a side road and so we didn't hear 2 different loud late night parties in close by bars from our rooms!

Very comfortable accommodation, modern style. Kitchen is good equipped. Close to the beach and restaurants. Wifi works fine. Very friendly host.

A little bit too hard pillow. No mosquito net over the bed so you need to use some other protection. Some of the rooms have windows pointed to near pub so it is not super quiet.

The best guest in Hikkaduwa

This is an ideal option. We stayed in several hotels for 2-3 nights and this was the only one place where room was cleaned. Good noise isolation, although the railway is nearby, but it is almost inaudible. Very nice atmosphere. Everything is new and clean. Fully consistent with photos. All is well with hot water. Sun beds on the roof. Great location, close to good cafes and the beach. Wonderful staff! We will definitely be back! Owners have a very cute cat and dog (for safety:))
