Good value for money. Nice surroundings.
The mattresses seemed old but the bedding was in order.

Very good low budget accomodation ideal for divers who want a bed at night to be able to go diving.
Life is tough these days with load shedding. Water pump tied to that means no electricity and no water but we try planning around that.

Very basic, but a nice place to stay none the less. It was fun sitting around rge braai with a beer chatting to other guests.

I liked that it was quiet
There was almost never power, we were told no generators or own fridges were allowed.
We tossed almost R1000 of meat that had been spoiled because there was no power.
There was no air-conditioning, the worst part is that all the other places charge half of the price that we paid and they had full time electricity with a generator andwith backup generators if one fails, they had air-conditioning and swimming pools with steps.
It was by far the worst place i have ever stayed, if i did not have other bookings for my holiday like diving and fishing etc i would have gone home the minute i arrived.
I will never recommend this place and i think bookings. Com are putting they're own name at risk for even advertising this place

The location is great, central Sodwana and located in a lovely reserve. The kitchen had everything one needs for self catering. Janice is a lovely hostess but seems overwhelmed by the size of the property. She went out of her way to help us but for the expense, the place was unacceptable.
The beds were really uncomfortable and the couches had all failed. We moved units as in the first we could hear every word from our neighbours in the attached unit and smell their cigarette smoke.
The floors are worn concrete, the furniture is ancient and in the second unit the shower was akin to a very basic camping shower with concrete floor. We had to change the gas for the geyser ourselves. Every time there is loadshedding there is no power AND no water which made things very difficult for us. Very expensive for beyond basic accommodation.

Tranquil oasis situated within aptly named Toad Trees . Definitely for the more nature inspired travelers not wanting the party and drinking scene. Excellent value for money and extremely hospitable hosts Lindsay and Janice.

Janice the owner was awesome. She was always there when we needed her. Me and my daughter stayed for 9 days and loved every minute of our stay there. The communal kitchen had everything you needed and for the bookworms there were lots of books to read on the book shelfs. We went out for a open sea snorkeling adventure, which I loved but unfortunately my daughter got sea sick and got an allergic reaction to coral debris in the water. We got stuck with our car Toyota Yaris on arrival but Janice send help and the next day showed us another road which me and my car could handle. We will definitely return.
There is little to non internet service. There is unexpected power losses for a few hours at a time.
