Cozy hotel, good location, good price/value.

Its a new small hotel, very cozy. They have clean pool, new AC, kitchenette and good fridge in the rooms. Breakfast is good, and they offer restaurant services. The hotel manager, Pawel is from Poland, very friendly, speaks perfect English and tells you everything what you need to know to spend good time in Jambiani. They offer transfer and all kind of daily trips as well. The beach is literally 1 min walk, through the bar area of the neighbouring cinnamon hotel.

Hence its a new hotel, some things will be finished in the following weeks.

Pleasent Stay - Fantastic Location

The standout features at The New Blue Waves Hotel included the exceptionally polite and helpful staff, a central location, reliable Wi-Fi, well-maintained facilities, making the overall stay quite comfortable.

There is room for improvement. The room service could use a boost, Some minor enhancements to the bathroom utilities would further enhance the overall guest experience, and some windows need to have curtains to provide more privacy.

Stunning view, right on the beach.

Stunning view. Great location. Good value for money. Very relaxing falling to sleep with sound of waves!

Hot shower doesn't work every day. Often cold water. Had a mouse running around. Lot of local children keep coming to the belcony, hanging on it and begging for candy.

The hotel is in the process of renovation. There is no place to rest. Everything is dirty and there are workers everywhere. The chef was sick, so it was impossible to eat. But the staff was nice and after 6 hours when we were accommodated, we canceled our reservation free of charge.

The location is great and once completed will be a lovely spot.

The place is still under construction and although it has alot of potential. Having builders constantly around while you trying to sun tan isn't great. The WiFi didn't reach out room and there was always random people/not guests sitting in the communal area which made this area not inviting. The shower water pressure was also awful.

Great location, supportive staff and a great price

The bungalows are super close to the sea and you can hear the waves at night. The pool is nice and clean with sea view. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

That it's right on the beach! Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Reasonably priced airport transfers!

It's very basic! For the price we paid, the room was okay! We triple shared one single bed and one double bed. Could have found better option for this price!

the location is great and the bungalows are beautiful. Breakfast was pretty good

the place is still under construction so there is a lot of noise and building materials around , the pool was dirty. The rooms were beautiful but simple and not so clean . I asked them twice if I could pay with card and they told me I could but when arrived their POS couldn’t accept MasterCard.

Good

Breakfast is amazing with lots of fruits, pancake, eggs and toast. You can also order lunch and dinner there and food for a cheaper price than the restaurants around and the food tastes great. The bungalows are right on the beach so you have a stunning ocean view.

The most important thing to consider about this place is that they are still under construction. The bungalow is very simple and there's a lot of open space in the walls, ceiling and no glass on the windows so a lot of sand gets inside. Combining this with the fact that they don't clean the rooms we ended up having all our clothes, luggage and bed covered in sand. The bathroom doesn't have a door which was weird and we had three spiders living with us in the room. Toilet paper was only on demand and we had to take cold showers for three days because we didn't have hot water. On top of that, the staff was not very helpful and one of the guys working there was beyond rude to me. Every time I talked to him, he would repeat what I said in a squeaky voice like if he was mimicking me. They only accept payments by cash.

Very good

Great location - right on the beach. Excellent breakfast - fruits, a pancake, a toast, jam, chocolate, peanut butter, eggs, coffee, tea, fresh juice. The staff was very kind and helpful. Suleiman organized all the trips we wanted to do. Adam was very helpful too. Thank you, guys, for making our holiday a great one. :)

There are no doors of the bathroom. There is no glass at the windows.

Very good breakfast, including fruits, scrambled eggs, toast, etc. Location is the brightest element of this place- 10 meters! from the Ocean

Dinner and lunch- very bad, within 5 meals that we ordered there only 1 was good, the rest sometimes not eatable Cleanliness kindda disaster- very dirty Majority of time wi-fi extremely weak- if You come there for an on-line work double consider, were also days that we were totally out of electricity

Superb

Breakfast is excellent, packed with fresh fruits, fresh juice, pancakes, eggs, toasts, Nutella, etc... They're extremely friendly and they can help you organize anything you need in the island.

We had to wait for lunch/dinner about an hour every time we asked for food. Once you understand the pace of the island it's all good. Just order and go back to the beach for 40 min.

Natural vibe for Zanzibar - laid back atmosphere and great to walk straight to the sea.

Hot wather available only certain hours and water pressure in general quite tricky. Wifi... like island life in general... unpredictable and only available in dining area.

Nice beach accommodation

The sea view and place being on seafront and this place is very budget-wise.

There was no housekeeping, breakfast was small and too simple, the room was full of mosquitoes and the begging was getting annoying from time to time from neighborhood children and bums, meaning there was no privacy. No real security neither.
