Unfortunately this time the tide was high when we were there, lots of wind, so the beach was not very well accessible... Former time it was lots of fun!

Tanzinite beach resort was amazing we loved every moment. The staff were very friendly. Our room was awesome. The location was the best.We walked on the beach in low tide and swam during high tide. The pool was also so nice to swim in.They say you should not go in may as it rains.Yes it rains but for 10 min and the sun comes out again it's so nice. The rain cools everything down.We loved it

Perfect place for a quiet private stay in Nungwi not far from everything! We stayed one night in room called Jadeite with nice ocean-view and big balcony (second floor of the three-storey building at the back of the hotel). Very nice spacious room, big and nice bathroom with gel, shampoo, hair dryer. Clean, big nice bed, with fridge and kettle, AC, everything is working. coofee-maker mentioned in the describtion is just instant coffee, if what) We enjoyed also buffet-breakfast: tea, coffee only instant unfortunately, eggs of your choice, toasts, jams, nutella, butter, some fried veggies, chapati and meat in sauce. Territory is sweet, place is quite, unlike all the other Nungwi (which is half hour walk basically) green, view of the ocean is amazing, pool with salt-water located nicely. We didn't swim in the ocean but all the hotel located on the reefrock, so the entrance to the ocean is a bit rocky also, but enough nice place to sekm etc. Overall standart is good but it's not top-top, you need to understand it) but the quality-money is very good for Zanzibar, which is pretty overpriced to my opinion.
If you pay in cash - be ready that they will give you change only next day🙈

the pool was good, staff was very kind and the view over the sea from my room was very beautiful
the beach was not private as Tanzanite says, also the beach is not with sand but a riff so you can not lay on the beach and chill. the food in the restaurant took very long everyday and everyday was there something on the menu that was not available.

It was a walking distance to the turtle aquarium and animal zoo which I loved the most.the staff were friendly and accommodating especially the lovely ladies at the reception Mariam and Leila. The breakfast was okay but not many options to choose from.
The bed had a squeaking noise.

I liked the interaction with the staff, they were available to respond positively to queries.
The room I booked was not available when I arrived. They gave me another room which I didn't like and I wait for 3 hours to be able to access another room they cleaned while I was there.
I didn't like the food they offered, poor quality and same thing everyday.

The view, amazing. Facilities are really well looked after.
You can't really swim in the ocean just outside the property. There are plenty of sea urchins in the water. You can walk on the beach during low tide, during high tide the beach is not accessible because the water breaks on the rocks right by the steps to get into the property.

The location is a bit far from all the fun stuff in Nungwi and the roads in the area aren't great

the área is pretty, full of trees and super nice, the staff is super warm and friendly
service is not a 4 star one as it supposed to be, everything is very slow, the food is not that amazing like is a beach resort is expected a fresh seafood but the fish in the dinner was very dried. water is the basic and is not included even in the breakfast witch is unbelievable. and the shoes for access the beach are lost, old or without pair

Very good food. Half board recommended. Wonderful staff, very friendly, they dance for the guests every other evening at the restaurant.
Might get bored during longer stay as the village is too far away to walk and there's not much to do at the premises. During high tide it is impossible to walk on the beach, stoney beach, not sandy.

Tanzanite Beach Resort is paradise on earth! The staff is amazing and from the moment you walk in you feel like part of their big happy family. The rooms are delicate, spacious and clean. We also had a big balcony with great garden and sea view. The beach is fantastic! Yes, there are some rocks and low tide but most of the day you can swim and walk along the beach without problems. Unlike Nungwi this beach is quiet and feels like a private spot, and Nungwi is anyway only a short and exciting walk away. (Good idea to bring a torch if you plan to walk after sunset.) The garden is beautiful and so well kept, and the pool is fresh and of good size. The food is excellent, didn’t get bored of their buffets even after 12 days. The chefs and waiters are the sweetest!
We can’t wait to go back to Tanzanite Beach Resort. The perfect place to spend a relaxed and quiet family holiday!

The staff is really friendly and always ready to help you. The rooms are nice and clean and the view at the ocean is magnificent.
The hotel itself is really good and everybody here make the vacation really great.
During the travel I discovered that there are more appropriate for the swimming beaches at Nungwi. Here there are a lot of stones so even me (I like external sports and swimming) was afraid of swimming there sometimes - and not because of waves
+ I payed for the breakfast + lunch room but some drinks during the lunch were for extra money and no one said about this beforehand. Only when you sign a receipt
