Located on the south side of town, you'll be conveniently close to restaurants and other businesses. The cherry on top is that beach access is only one mile from your front door! With a unique round interior, this home is perched on a small hill and is a prime place to enjoy views of the ocean and the end of the Nestucca River. Around town you will find plenty of activities to keep you entertained, including horseback rides on the beach and hang gliding lessons. If you want, you can drive 30 minutes south to Lincoln City or 35 minutes north to Tillamook for even more exciting options.
On the lower level of this home are a living area, a kitchenette, a laundry area, and a full bathroom. Two bedrooms (each with a queen-size bed) are also on the ground floor. With living spaces on the main floor, this home is perfect for everyone.
Upstairs you will find another living room, complete with entertainment options and a cozy wood stove. Throughout this home you will have WiFi access, cable TV, Blu-ray/DVD players and a selection of movies, as well as stunning views of the surroundings, so nobody will be bored here!
The top floor also has the primary bedroom, which features a king-size bed, plenty of storage, a sitting area, deck access, and a bathroom. Altogether, this home can comfortably sleep six guests, although up to 10 can stay here if they bring a sleeping bag! Up to four well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you on vacation, though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply.

My family and I took my mom for 60th birthday. After reading previous reviews on the place not having many items in the kitchen, I made sure to pack some pans, plastic utensils, plates, and even seating for the kitchen, we also brought our bathroom items, but upon check in and throughout the stay, I was being pleasantly surprised to find a fully stocked kitchen, extra beddings, bathroom items, more then we could use. We slept comfortably with 6 adults and 2 teens. The views were brea butthtaking with the cape and sand dunes. My mom had a wonderful birthday. Thank you for having us at your wonderful home.

And that's where it stops. The furniture is old, the entries are confusing, the kitchen utensils suck, I could go on. One of the main concerns for those booking this place should be that one of the rooms does not have a heating vent. Its the "Managers" suite or so the door said. The upstairs room is nice just older furniture again. We did have a great view of the ocean and lots of deer coming around each day.

The pictures online of this property are old ones as there is much deterioration that has occurred. The only thing that is true is the view and it is spectacular. However that only goes so far. The grounds are in total disrepair
and this property brings down the home values of the entire neighborhood. The sliding glass door to get onto the deck is broken and takes a strong man to actually pick up the door to make it slide enough for a slim person to get out. No deck chairs are available. The grill is old and rusty but does still work.
The kitchen is supplied very poorly with garage sale items. No large serving bowls, knives are totally dull, no steak knives, old mismatched pots and pans; the toaster works on one side only, the can opener doesn't work at all. Supplies consist of one roll of paper towels, a few small bottles of dishwash liquid, one towel, one sponge, no dishwasher powder.
The furniture throughout the upstairs and downstairs could be called adequate but not comfortable. The two hide-a-beds which we had to use for our grandchildren were pathetic but we had no choice. The mattresses were worn thin and were so dirty and stained. There weren't enough sheets provided for both beds and when I called the only number I could find for assistance, I was told I would need to go buy my own sheets and then take them home with me! The upstairs wiring seemed to be faulty as the lights flickered all the time.

Thank you for letting us use your house. We loved the upstairs view the most, and looking out on the balcony and seeing the deers on the lawn and walking up the street. We are from Hawaii, and that was truly a gift. We also love the view of the Pacific ocean. It's too bad our vacation was only 2 nights. We were hoping we would see the deers again and the spectacular view of the beach and the ocean, but we had to leave at 6 am for our flight back to Honolulu. Once again thank you so much!

I rented this house for a get together with old friends, plus the husband of one, who had never been to the Oregon coast before. The view from this house was a perfect introduction. Because the house is round, you can see a nice long stretch of ocean, surf, Cape Kiwanda, and the haystack rock. The house is older, but it's cozy and perfectly laid out for visiting. There were deer in the side yard two of the three mornings we were there. Bonus!
All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I will be renting this one again!

House was clean, linens on each bed as well as extra in the cupboards. A wood stove with wood provided when we arrived. The view was AMAZING! Location felt secluded without being too far away from the town center, which has some great little coffee shops!

Loved the location, clean, great deck with great views. However, very disappointing that there was no stair assist lift to help my elderly parents up the stairs like advertised in the description (I believe this has since been changed in the description after I called Vacasa support about it). The bathroom on the ground floor they could access had a very tall tub they could not step over to get in. There was a very nice handicap accessible bathroom on the upper floor (with a low step over edge in the shower, a seat and safety grab bars) but without the stair assist lift, they could not get upstairs to use it. Also, the propane tank for the BBQ ran out half way through the 2nd BBQ meal. We called at 1000 in the morning to request the tank to be refilled. By 4PM we had not heard back so we called again. This Vacasa person told us it might be faster to take the tank in to refill it ourselves and then send in the receipt. This worked but it was frustrating to deal with when we are not familiar with the area to find a place to fill it. We've used Vacasa rentals before and have always had a good experience so this was a disappointment. Again, the upstairs was was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the location.

We Loved this house. The carousel layout was really neat. The view was beautiful from the deck! There was plenty of room for our group of 10. We Loved that there was a little fenced in area of the yard for our doggy to be in sometimes. You should really add this to the description of the house. I feel like other pet owners would Love to know that.
My few complaints: There were no extra garbage can liners, and there wasn't a liner in the kitchen garbage can at all. We ended up buying our own. With our larger group we filled the kitchen garbage a couple of times! I understand this was a pet friendly home, but the downstairs smelled bad and had at least one big (what looked to be) urine stain on the carpet. I would recommend getting the carpet down there shampooed. I will give the benefit of the doubt and maybe wonder if it was from the renters just before us? Besides that we had a great time!
We wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again, and recommend it to others.

There are a few things that are concerning with the house number one as soon as you get there the sliding door is unlocked for anyone to get. There is no way to lock it. Anyone can come in and access the backyard. Making this unsafe.
The house smells horrible of mildew/mold. There’s a sign to takeoff shoes but the carpet is visibly stained everywhere. Yellow pet urine in one room brown spots all over the other. There was no way I was in about to walk on that carpet with my bare feet.
There was human and pet hair on the bedding furniture floors everywhere. I did get a text asking about the cleanliness and I did let them know and they did bring new sheets and pillowcases the following day. Which was great, But why am I making beds on my vacation which I paid a cleaning fee for ?
I would like to say the only great thing about the house is the view however there’s no outdoor furniture to even sit and enjoy it. I’ve had great experience with Vacasa before in the homes that they rent out this though is just a horrible house everything needs updated. Boxsprings are visibly stained yet there’s no bed skirts. Comforters old and stained. I’m surprised Vacasa would allow this to be rented under their name, very disappointed..

This home has an AMAZING view. Other than that, it leaves a lot to be desired. From super stained old carpet downstairs to a moldy coffee maker in the kitchen, we were super disappointed. Towels and sheets were well past their expiry date, lightbulbs out all over, a leak under the kitchen sink, dirty dishes and pans, etc. Thank goodness for VACASA workers, who brought us a new coffee maker and silverware (there were only 3 spoons). It was NOT worth the $300/nt incl taxes&fees.

We did love the view, and the beds and bathrooms were clean. We went with the understanding that we would be able to easily get my husband ( who has had a stroke) up the steep stairs. Very disappointed to find we couldn’t. It took three people at a time to get him up the stairs and down.

If you are looking for a clean place to stay this is NOT it. One of our group was so disgusted they chose to sleep in the car. Dog hair and human hair everywhere, stains of who-knows-what on mattress. Cobwebs and dead bugs everywhere.
View is beautiful, but it's BYOC (bring your own chair). No chairs for the deck provided.

The carousel house was pretty nice but there were some rotted/ soft boards in the balcony that should be tended to before someone gets hurt.

I liked the big kitchen for our Christmas dinner and the big room for presents, etc. The balcony has rotting wood/ soft spots and needs to be tended to. This was a minor concern for me as we were there in the winter but it would effect my choice for a summer stay for sure.
