The site is beautiful, the house was comfortable and well equipped (though the kitchen utensils could do with a revamp). The pool was warm and easy to access. We had a lovely time.
It would have been great to have a bit of a grassy patch outside the cottage, like all the others. There is only one washing machine available for guests. It would be great to have another one, to avoid queues. The pool table and pingpong table and equipment were in dire state. Perhaps renewing them and asking guests to be respectful of the facilities (and supervising once in a while) would help.

Selfcatering but hosts left bread butter milk and biscuits for us on arrival also coffee tea and sugar which is helpful if you are just wanting to relax when you first arrive.
The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed the only negative was the sofas were uncomfortable. Overalls lovely break.

Cottage, tennis court and pool were great. Location excellent with a great view and close to Ludlow. Nice bathrooms.
Needed more information in the cottage, pool times were a bit odd.

A warm and comfortable cottage on a working farm in peaceful countryside. Much entertainment provided by the behaviour of the flock of partridges pottering around our section of the farmyard! Beautiful views from bedroom window and lots of nearby walks in the Shropshire hills as well as other places of interest. Keys were in door when we arrived and it was great to find milk, butter, biscuits and a loaf of bread to welcome us. Guests have use of an indoor pool. Useful small supermarket/local shops 5-10 minutes' drive away in Craven Arms.
Perhaps some hooks on back of kitchen door for damp coats? Otherwise they have to drip onto dining room floor or the carpet in bedroom cupboard. Possibly more of an 'information folder' for guests such as appliance instructions, where to put rubbish, nearest shops/doctors etc, recommendations for eating out....

The location was great - quiet and peaceful with beautiful views across Shropshire. The village is tiny but the pub is a real asset and the A49 is close making neighbouring towns very accessible. The tennis court was good and we had access to BBQ / grills.
I messaged the owners several
times with no response which was disappointing and confusing. The pool wasn’t available when we wanted despite being assured it would be. If we had been part of a larger party it may have been different?

Spacious, clean well equipped cottage. Very peaceful surroundings.
Bed was uncomfortable
towels not changed all week although a washing machine was available to use upstairs where the swimming pool is located it wasn’t great for a family of 4! Luckily we had taken our own towels for swimming.
The pool table and table tennis table both need replacing or getting rid of altogether.
Very narrow road leading upto the cottage(s).
Make sure you take plenty of your own booze and food as there is nothing on site and pubs / restaurants all require own transport due to location.

Location good, size of house also good..
Staff just turning up looking through windows, table tennis and pool area dated. Play area could be better.

The views from the cottage were breathtaking.
The use of the indoor pool helped me so much with my rehabilitation.
Having a electric bed was like home from home.
I have to say a very big thank you to Sharon the manager. She's very helpful and understanding. If she can help you with any issues, questions ect she will go over and above to do so.
Thank you Sharon for everything.
To have been acknowledged by one of the owners who was looking at an issue outside the cottage opposite.
I was sat on the bench and not even a Hello or a wave would have been nice?

Norton cottage was a good size for 4 people in a lovely rural setting
The pool needed cleaning no extra towels were provided, changing facilities needed updating and a very good clean. The cottage itself was well equipped but needed a thorough clean cobwebs in all rooms. The bathroom needed a new toilet button and the taps needed cleaning.

Properties were huge and perfect for large groups.

The cottage was perfect for a family get together. The bedrooms and living space is all on one floor, which was great for young children. The kids also loved the private pool.

The property/cottage had wonderful facilities...swimming pool (booking slots so you had pool to yourself), tennis court, games and playground area under cover. Kids were busy all the time. Lovely day trips to Ludlow and visited the amazing castle, zip lining and long walks in Hopton Forest, walks in the Cardigan Valley National Trust, and horse riding in Stoneyford riding centre (highlight for my daughter) near Shrewsbury. We enjoyed visiting the Ludlow Farm farm centre/shop/restaurant 6 minutes drive from the property. The fire burner in cottage was wonderful on the cooler nights and bonus we got wood for it too. Our host Sharon left us milk, butter and bread... which was a lovely touch.
The front area was only gravel, so we didn't have our own lawn area near our outside table. The bigger cottages did though.

Lovely little cottage, very clean and well set up
Location is up a narrow country lane.

The house was perfect for our family get together. Plenty of space for us all to sit together in the living areas and at meal times. We loved the outdoor play area/ barbecue area and swimming pool.

Spacious, clean and with everything you need. The manager of the property is so warm and accommodating.
Lovely cottage surrounded by fantastic scenery. A farm shop close at hand which has everything you could possibly want, they supply the Clive Inn, a place that you should definitely book for a meal. A private swimming pool and tennis court that you can book for yourself whenever you want.

Great place to stay for a family gathering, extra bonus to have a pool and tennis court. Owners couldn’t be more helpful and very welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.
7.5
The property is a great size, with plenty of space for a full house of 12 guests. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, etc. The location is great, so quiet and rural, just what we wanted.
The tennis court was closed and we weren't informed of this before arriving, spoiling our plans for the Saturday. A note from the owner ahead of arriving would have been appreciated. There were 5 bathrooms yet only one shower, which is not great for a large party when wanting to get ready.
