The location, the facilities and the rooms.
There was nothing we didn’t like about this property.

perfect for our needs absolutely stunning location and property.

Kings is a self-catering hostel, not a hotel. It was perfect for a large family group that included lots of small children. Communal cooking and washing up worked well, the lounge and books went down a treat, the football table was a success & the grounds, outdoor fire & bbq all proved memorable for the several related families that shared the stay. Dave (owner) provided friendly & discreet support that proved essential during an area-wide power failure.

Fabulous location
Lovely large lounge and dining room.
Showers spotless.
Kitchen well stocked.
Absolutely perfect for our family of 21.
Cant wait to book again...
The only small negative was that cars passed by immediately ourside the accomodation traveling a little fast going up to the farm and campsite.
Would suggest a sleeping policeman .

Location and the space we had
Road up to the hostel and signage could be better. Wasn’t prepared for the real narrow road in the dark.

Excellent location in mountains along the river, beautiful secluded and silent !
Beds are a bit tight for tall adults.

The property is very clean, very spacious, we spent 3 wonderful days. We’ve been 3 families with 6 kids in total and we had more than enough space. The bathrooms were very clean, the kitchen fully equipped with everything that you may need to prepare your food. And the view… oh my goodness! wonderful! We drank our coffee at the riverside. Absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to go back this time for at least 7 days.

We were already excited by the drive up through the beautiful wooded valley. When we arrived we were overwhelmed with the beauty and tranquility of the location. The property was so clean and comfortable and big enough to accommodate us all very easily. We were fortunate enough to have lots of sunshine so we enjoyed walks, a BBQ and a fire. We had plenty of shared meals in the big dining room.
There was nothing to dislike at all. None of us wanted to leave!

Lovely service whilst we were staying. Very friendly and helpful

We really enjoyed our stay. The cleanliness, the secluded area etc however, the location is quite overwhelming for new drivers and it’s very uphill with narrow roads. Overall we really liked our stay and would definitely come again Eventhough the lack of mobile service can become slight of a hassle.
WiFi doesn’t really work, narrow roads leading up and some beds were quite hard to sleep on.

Very good location and value for money. Dave is very supportive and helpful
Poor network and wifi

The location and flowing water body is amazing

We Rented the entire property and had very nice time in this beautiful rural place .
Has it’s own stream and large private garden space with fire pit for camp fire.
Poor WIFI Connection, since there is no mobile coverage at the location a stronger more reliable WFI connectivity can enhance the holiday experience.

It was just fantastic. The location is stunning we had 7 boys under 12 all just running wild in the grounds and playing in the stream. They and we loved it. We pitched a tent to play in in the rain and had a campfire with marshmallows every night. Dave the owner is the nicest person you'll ever meet and couldn't do enough for us. Spotlessly clean too.
The great British weather!
