Gute Lage und Balkon mit netter Aussicht
Ungepflegtes Zimmer: Kopfkissen fleckig, kein Matratzenschoner, unzureichend Handtücher, tägliche Reinigung bestand aus Bett richten, Toilettenbrille bei Ankunft dreckig.
Schlechtes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

VÄGGLUSARNA...och hur man skyllde på oss och att vi tagit in dem via våra kläder.

Location
Dirty , noisy, cheap and nasty, the place had not been cleaned in years and was disappointment
10.0 / 10.0
Spotlessly clean room and facilities, very comfortable beds, friendly staff.
For that price range, in that location , its unbeatable value for money.
I would highly recommend City Hotel.
There was nothing my friends and I didn't like about our stay in City Hotel, it exceeded our expectations.

The room
No heating, to many stairs
2.0 / 10.0
Only the location is good. but it's still not worth the price.
First, the access is not easy with many stairs to climb. our room was in the third floor. Second, even the basics were not good. (The shower support was broken, so I could only shower while holding it, the water was not going down and it accumulated, the bathroom drain was clogged.
Staff solved the issue. The bed was very uncomfortable. I could feel all the structure in my back). Third, you need to leave the key when you leave the place even if it's just for a few minutes.

Small but clean and quiet room, very good contanct with stuff, you may buy good coffee and sweets in reception 24/h. Steep stairs may be difficult to climb. Great localisation.

Location is close to nice places to party.
The rooms are too expensive for the price we paid, they should think about sound demp glass especially when having a scate place located right in front of the hotel. We hardly had any sleep in this place because of noise from outside and from other rooms. We had paid lower prices for better accommodation before in Amsterdam. Unfortunately, for now, we will not consider this property for other stays.

the shower didn’t have anything to hold on to so we had to hold it in our hands everytime we showered for the whole shower

I really liked how nice the staff was and that they cared whether or not you were having a good experience. Felt very welcome at this hotel! The location is most definitely the best thing about this. I love Rembrandtplein, so this is THE best location I've ever been in.
Unfortunately, we had loud neighbors next door on the first day, but there's not much the hotel can do about it. At least it was only one day.

This hotel is perfect if you are looking for a cheap accomodation to visit Amsterdam. The location is perfect, it is very close to the city centre (10/15 min by walk). In the same square of the hotel you can find a lot of places to eat and to have breakfast, and also a nice coffee shop. My room was very large, but the furniture is not very good. The bed was comfortable indeed. The bathroom is shared with the other rooms, but it's really big, and the shower was perfect. The cleaning service is acceptable.
The staff is really kind and always available.
There is no chance to have lunch or breakfast in this hotel.
In the end i reccomend it 👍🏼

The city hotel is great. The location is perfect - everything was within 15-20 min walk. The room was lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to stay here again!
2.0 / 10.0
Good location as it’s right in the centre.
windows seals were clearly not doing there job as every single bit of noise could be heard throughout the whole night. very very noisy when people enter the building. Found a hair in the shower and every time the cleaners has changed the sheets there was big clumps of dust on the bed

The location of the hotel is close to the city center. We can actually walk there from the main train station with our baby stroller + a vali. Two receptionists were really nice who helped us to carry luggage and stroller upstair, and even considered our request for changing the room to lower floor for my baby while the rest, especially the female receptionist with cruel make-up face (100% sure you will notice her) always behaved really rude and denied any requests for support. Be careful with their only explaination: "The hotel is in the heart of Amsterdam and this is what you booked."
The hotel is located at the second floot and higher. The stairs are very steep and narrow without access for stroller. We have to disassemble the stroller and bring each part upstairs. Our room was on the 4th floor and it was dangerous to carry our baby to this room as there was an under-construction part - with "Dangerous - Mind your head" sign between the 3rd and 4th floors. The room was heading west without air conditioning and hence, was terribly hot during the afternoon until late at night. Dirty water is stuck outside the window which attracted a lot of mosquitoes. The hotel was not for us to stay - only to sleep in a bad condition with mosquitoes and tiredness.
