Beautiful hotel, perfectly situated next to the Thames. Staff were very friendly.
Both days we were asked if we would like the room serviced at 6pm. Not really a great time so we didn’t have top ups to tea and coffee or the bed made. Little irritation but surprising for this quality of hotel.

Hotel is decorated very nicely; feels like a high end boutique hotel; large comfortable bed; beautiful bathroom; lovely courtyard off the restaurant (so can be used for breakfast, drinks or dinner); staff are friendly
Hotel is surrounded by very busy roads; only rooms overlooking the courtyard are quiet (and there are not many of these); breakfast was poor with little selection

The service was very good, from instantly being on hand to help with bags, to very attentive service in the beautiful courtyard. Room was nice and big with a lovely bathroom.

A superbly renovated and decorated hotel that offers modern conveniences within a characterful historic building and a more recent wing overlooking Henley Rowing Club on the Thames. The thoughtful design of the spacious main wing room I booked provided everything one requires for a business trip or a longer pleasure stay: Ample built-in wardrobes, dressing table, espresso machine, and many convenient sockets to plug in electricals, computers etc. Every socket has a twin USB charger - great for phones and the many gadgets I carry with me. The bed was large and supremely comfortable, the furnishings period and tasteful, and the bathroom fitted with quality fittings, i.e. Burlington period style bath and taps. The standard of finish and excellent ergonomics - no stretching for towels or fumbling to find light switches - shows considerable thought went into the design. Dressing gowns, towels and linen were crisp, clean and a joy to use after a long journey. Breakfast and lunch were excellent and very reasonably priced, £12.50 and £16.50 respectively. Most notably, the service is outstanding - the staff were accommodating and efficient, and no request was too great an ask. Truly 5* at 3*/4* prices. Exceptional value for money.
Some may find the mild quirkiness of the main building layout to be a challenge if mobility is restricted - the main building is a period house with several staircases, otherwise, there is very little to dislike.

Welcoming and accommodative staff. Great central location by the river. Cozy rooms in a historical inn. We celebrated Thanksgiving with a group of friends and were very impressed with the quality of the food and the restaurant service. It was an overall utterly relaxing and unforgettable stay. Recommend highly and looking forward to experiencing again.

It’s a beautiful property with a wonderful restaurant and the location can’t be beat!
Our thermostat didn’t function when we arrived on a Wednesday and we asked to have it looked at but it was never addressed.

Beautifully presented, very welcoming & the room was lovely.
The hotel bar was great but a little small and would benefit from more space to seat people.

Really nice large twin room. Very clean. Quiet yet central location. Lovely breakfast. Great library/chill!board game room. Excellent bar. Slept well.
We didnt have decaf coffee and only one breakfast tea bag in the room (lots of fancy tea stuff but not to our simple taste). No problem, we asked for some. But the hotel charged £5 for a couple of normal teabags given! Very surprised at that for an otherwise high end place.

Very attentive and friendly staff. Food was excellent. We all had kids between 1 and 7, which were all accommodated well.

Location, public areas, room, shower room, staff.
Room was noisy - I could hear next door's TV, their arguing after midnight, their phone conversations in the corridor after midnight. Breakfast portion size was surprisingly small.
