Everything about this place was thoughtful, clean, and easy to just relax in.
It's set back from the road as part of a small cottage community.
There was plenty of everything, especially space to move around in.
James is a great host! He was on site (staying in basement apartment) and answered questions quickly.
Highly recommend.

James was an amazing host! The house was exactly as pictured. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked, grounds were beautiful, and the neighborhood kitties were a huge hit with my 11 year old. Highly recommend!!

House was convenient to most places and especially to the highways. Is right next to the railroad so you do hear the trains constantly but after the first night, we didn't really notice it. Listing states it sleeps up to 6 people, which can be true if you bring your own air mattress. We are a family of 5 with 2 being teenagers so they obviously are not sharing a queen size bed, but the couch is not a pull out, so as long as you're open to sleeping on it. There are extra linens available, which we did use for the couch and plenty of towels handy. Kitchen is stocked with all the amenities and complimentary water and snacks were nice to have. Host is friendly and very quick to respond with questions/concerns.

My husband and I had to make a trip to Louisville because his mother passed away. Not the best of circumstances, but we also wanted to stay someplace that felt like home. Honestly, this home was perfect. Cozy, homey and in a good location with lots of great restaurants close by. We walked to dinner one night and enjoyed it so much. Very clean and well appointed. We just felt very comfortable. James is a perfect host. You know he’s there if you need him but not intrusive. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Louisville!

My mother and I rented this property to be close to the Jewish Hospital in downtown Louisville. The property was clean, nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable and the location felt super safe, quiet and charming! Our host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. This property definitely exceeded our expectations! I would definitely stay here again.

Louisville in May
Perfect location to great eateries, grocery, places of interest. Just a few minutes drive to downtown, Churchill Downs and walking distance to Cave Hill cemetery. House was well appointed and our host, James, was very accommodating. Parking was never a problem. We spent a comfortable and relaxing week in Louisville, doing everything we set out to do. Great experience.

James was fabulous!
Our employees stayed here while working at Baptist Health Louisville. James went above and beyond at welcoming them to KY. They enjoyed the stay and James's hospitality.
5.0 / 10.0
Comfortable, spacious, short drive to main attractions (museums, restaurants, riverfront, etc.), and very reasonable drives to other sites/activities (kayak, disc golf, motorboat rental, and more). Property is kept up well. When a couple of very minor issues came up (like a broken can opener), James was on top of them very quickly -- solved. While some other neighborhoods in the surrounding areas can feel iffy, this property felt 100% safe. I felt completely comfortable outside the property and leaving my car out overnight. Nearby are great restaurants with character and good food. This included bbq, soul food, and veggie/vegan places. I recommend this without hesitation. My kids (18 & 20) and I would definitely stay here again.

Cute Cat Culdesac
Great communication with our host, James. The home is located on the most charming pedestrian culdesac and the neighborhood cats were a hit with our teens. The nearby flea market, Fleur de Flea was a great shopping experience and James offered some great suggestions for meals.
All in all a perfect way to ring in a new year!

Paristowne Pointe
We opened the front door and there was delightful music playing. Appropriate lights and fans were on . It was a warm welcome . Immediately we felt comfortable. Everywhere we intended to visit while in the area was between 5 and 15 minutes away. Kitchen and bathrooms had the necessary incidentals . It was easy to feel at home. Our host was easy to be in touch with and very helpful.

Perfect for our family getaway
Wonderful location!! Everything you might want and need within 10 mins. James was very responsive and was available if you need him. He even sent suggested places to eat or places to check out. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. Plenty of extra towels and pillows and he even had the little things like cotton swabs and makeup removal wipes. Everything is well thought out and sets you up for a day of success with little effort on your part. Better than a hotel and you can't beat this price! TVs with plenty to watch, simply sit back and relax. Will be looking to stay here again next time we're going back down south!!

James, the host, was very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay. There were snacks available, the place was very clean, and had everything we could have needed. Kentucky Kingdom was about 10 minutes away. Some very unique restaurants within walking distance.

Excellent Independence Day location
Very clean and well cared for property. Comfortable and spacious house. James was very polite and friendly. The house is a perfect location for enjoying Independence Day as there are some killer fireworks shows that take place nearby. Overall very nice vacation home in Louisville.

Great property in a fun location
With Covid, I needed a place to quarantine before returning home. The house itself is located on a pedestrian cul-de-sac (if that is the right description, a group of houses with a common sidewalk). It is right next to the new Paristown Pointe and very close to both the Highlands and Germantown. The house was as depicted in the photos. James was an absolute delight as a property manager. I have stayed in a lot of VRBO properties and highly recommend this one.

Close to everything the property is very well-kept. Didn’t spend much time in the area but it was easy to Uber downtown or wherever you needed to go. Well worth the money would definitely come back. James is a great host!

Very nice accommodations
We have family in Louisville and stayed at Lucky in Kentucky for our Christmas visit. For the cost of a mid priced hotel, the house offers so much more. It's spotless clean and very comfortable. Nice to spread out. We didn't do any cooking, but the kitchen is nicely equipped. James even had the house nicely decorated for Christmas. He's an excellent host. Just a note of advice-Train tracks run behind the house and the trains can be loud.
Bringing a white noise machine for sleeping was beneficial.

Everything we needed!
We had easy access to the property and found everything clean. The light music playing, snacks/coffee and welcome note when we entered were nice hospitality touches. James also checked in on the day of our arrival with updated wifi password information (website check-in details need updating) and the best way to get a hold of him.
The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, beds were comfortable and we found the property well insulated for noise. The location is great for getting around to different parts of the city. Easy access to freeways and fun local restaurants nearby.
There happened to be a concert/winter festivities at nearby Paristown Hall over our stay. We appreciated the distributed flyer regarding parking restrictions (a.k.a. road was blocked for resident parking only). Plenty of parking throughout our stay!
We will recommend this property to others!

Fantastic, convenient, friendly!
James is great, and the property is amazing. Quiet neighborhood with a couple places to eat and have a drink within a couple minutes walking distance. 10 or so minute drive into the heart of Louisville which was quick and easy. The house is comfortable, clean, and very accomodating. We will definately stay again.

Bourbon country
We are from TN and met some family from MI. We had a great time! The property was awesome and close to downtown. We done plenty of cooking and grilling. The bourbon tours are great (although I was the DD) one of the best is the Angels Envy also I recommend Louisville Slugger. James was a awesome host, greeted us upon arrival. Also gave us lots of info on restaurants. Brooke’s and Billie’s has awesome burgers. They are literally down the street so just walk don’t drive. Thanks again James it was awesome!

Very stylish and clean place, great location!
The house is located 15 min scooter ride from the very city center, Plenty of free parking around it. Great pubs, cafes, bourbon bars in walking distance. Has a great deck for grilling, or morning coffee, evening wine or beer and chat. Very well equipped, cleane, nice interior and furniture. AC works well. Host responds within hours for everything and arranges all requests asap. Only thing missing for longer stay is in house laundry, but if you are only spending 3-4-days, it does not matter of course. Front yard "community" garden is nicely kept with lots of plants and flowers. Great stay, go book it!

Eclectic Delight With at Home Comfort
James, our host, was so friendly, helpful and accommodating! He has created a delightful and comfortable home in the lovely Goullon Court cul de sac. Clean as can be, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen and great water pressure in the shower :-). The home decor is eclectic and interesting. While the view from the back looks out on a railroad, it’s still interesting and we had no issues with train noise- when they do pass through they are surprisingly quiet. James was a great help for local recommendations for restaurants, some within walking distance. We definitely hope to come back again! We highly recommend this delightful home and it’s host, James!

A Great Spot for Louisville Attractions!
We were in town visiting Louisville for the first time and found this home to be in a great location, about a 15 minute drive from anywhere we went. It's in a cute little area, but a little confusing to find since a few houses are clustered in a little park-like setting, off the street a bit. It was very clean, decorated beautifully, and homey! James was very attentive, welcoming us and quickly replying to texts with any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again!

This rental property could not have been better and James is a very attentive host. The property is fully equipped and was very clean. The Highlands neighborhood is very nice. Street parking was easy and ample. The property is in a quiet neighborhood (with the exception of the occasional train - but there's not much you can do about that) but only a 15-20 minute walk to Baxter Ave/Bardstown Rd where there are a number of great restaurants and bars. Louisville as a whole is a very fun city to visit and would recommend it to anyone. I would definitely stay here again, if given the opportunity.

The home was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. James, the owner, is so friendly and welcoming. We accidentally overstayed (I'm am air head) and he was so sweet and accommodating about the extra day. It's a good location in an up and coming urban neighborhood. We walked to multiple restaurants during our stay and the stoneware factory store. Thank you for a wonderful stay, James!

This was our very first time visiting Louisville KY 3/16-3/19 and enjoyed ourselves!!! James, the home owner, was amazing to work with and answered all my questions. His house was presented as shown on VRBO listing and he personally greeted when we arrived. The house was beautifully decorated, well furnished and has all the amenities you need as you were at your own home. There are 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths in this home. The master and second bedrooms have a full-queen size bed and the third bedroom has a twin. The living room area has a full pull out sofa. All the beds were very comfortable and rooms were nicely decorated. There is a train that runs early in the morning and the views in the back area aren't so pretty which didn't bother us though. We feel safe in this house location and is easy access to Highlands restaurants and shops, Butchertown, Louisville downtown and Old Louisville Historic areas. The only recommendation we have is to fix the middle bedroom door as it didn't latch and if a DVD player is available so families can watch movies at night. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us James!

Very very nice house with all the details of home, and more. An extremely well stocked and well decorated house that felt very comfortable. James was nearby, accessible, and very helpful. This house is now be our benchmark that we will be comparing to all our future stays. We very much look forward to staying here again.

Had both sister houses for a week. Great quiet little neighborhood tucked away. Do not let the changing neighborhood around you fool you on your way there. Literally 1-2 blocks away from great food. It's always nice not having to get an Uber/Lyft to enjoy an evening. The host was great, he gave us a nice list of local places to check out. Definitely going to try to come back next year.

What a wonderful experience our family of four had over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house is exactly as pictured and it was nice to be able to have my family over to "my place" for a change while I was in town. James goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Oh yeah... the beds are among the most comfortable I have ever slept in! I can't imagine we would ever stay in a hotel again. Thanks James!
