1. Lovely historical palace,
2. Great location- very quite and central
3. Friendly stuff
4. We loved the idea of accessible storing of the filtered water in the reusable bottles in the fridge
1. The wireless didn’t work in our room
2. The dust was everywhere in the wardrobe, desk and shelves. The floor wasn’t clean either, as well as the mirror in the bathroom
3. Last and the most important- there is a terrible smell coming out from the bathroom- I am afraid there are some issues with canalization. We were forced to sleep with an open window, otherwise there was no decent air in the room.

It was very centrally located with wonderful staff.

compy room, very good breakfast (no buffet- this is what I like) great staff, all in walking distance, great downtown location.
no parking, you have to walk like 300-400 meters from the public parking which is not optimal with luggage and rain

Good location.
Lovely old world interior, particulalry the well worn stair case
Wifi wasnt available in my 2nd floor room
Had to complete work in the reception area where signal was best

Location and charm. It was recommended on a tourism site and I felt safe
I had to climb four flights of stairs NO elevator.
AND I could not lock my door from inside. I propped my bag against it so an intruder would cause noise.

The location of the hotel is very good, and the breakfast was great
A few plants or vases with flowers would have made the hotel look a little less austere

Good location in the historic part of town.
Helpful advice about local restaurants and sights.
The access by car was poorly managed.
The response at the barrier was unsatisfactory and we were kept waiting until a resident passerby helped us enter. The Hotel needs to discuss an improved entry for guests - QR ode reader or something else at the entry point rather than a telephone to a call centre that was unable to respond. Hotel needs to sort this out with the local authority.
While our room was as illustrated, the photograph flattered reality. While the room was large and clean, there were many small faulty details - reading light not working, hook missing behind bathroom door, curtains not closing adequately and no plug in the wash hand basin.
The room was not quiet. We could hear every move our neighbour made.
Nor did we realise our room was not in the main building. Access on the freezing nights was a hazard across the cobblestone court yard and up poorly lit wrought iron stairs.

A beautiful building inside, the room was comfortable. Smaller shower room than previous hotels but adequate for a family of four. The staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant. Great location for shopping, restaurants and picturesque squares. perfect stay with two children.
The breakfast room was closed due to refurbishment, which was a shame, however the hotel did inform of this prior to our stay. We were offered a lovely continental breakfast free of charge in our room, which was good.

a little bit too cold

We booked the family room but there weren't any family equipment (no bath and no baby bath available). Room was on the second floor so very unhandy with a baby and the bathroom was very small.

the location is very good in the old town in a street without cars and within an acceptable walking distance from the Gare SNCF. The house certainly has a history (which, however,. was nowhere explained), my room was spacious, comfortable and quiet, the bed was very good, the bathroom offers all that is needed. Practically all my time was spent on business meetings, but the historical sightseeing places are very close by for people like me with little leasure time. Clearly, now we all have google maps, but I liked the gesture of the reception to hand out a paper map as well.
Upon arrival, the receptionist was very eager to explain how easy it is to connect to wifi. Once in the room, it turned out that the signal was very weak and at times not available. I complained to the same receptionist and he seemed to be very much aware of this lack of service. He commented in French that there were "little problems" ("on a des petits soucis"). I did not expect this "nonchalance" showing a a total negligence of the client.
Breakfast was served at tables upon taking orders from a menu card. I prefer a buffet breakfast where guests can "see what they like to eat". I do not need three waiters steadily running from kitchen to tables and back with coffee, then bread, then cheese and ham, then egss, then fruit etc. I prefer "me walking from the breakfast offerings to my table"-
I also do not know why the hotel keys handed out to guests have labels label with room numbers. I certainly do not want to loose my key whilst being outside, but, should this happen, any finder has access to the hotel and the room. This seems to be common in France. In another hotel, my key label also had information about the wifi password.

Everything was amazing, I was given a possibility to print out my document as well as a toothpaste as I have forgotten I was not provided
Also I was very well consulted in places to eat and some sightseeng to do in the city
Well, at 11h30 when I was still asleep in my bed with the door locked, somebody unlocked the door and despite my yelling that the room was obviously occupied, this person opened the door.... Ouf, that was something! So it's appeared to be a cleaning lady...

The weather.

nice location and a beautiful old building with a lot of potential
I‘ve booked the smallest room, my mistake, carpet was not nice, room far too small, smelled of peppermint spray and bathroom needs a re-fresh. Also, in case of a fire, no chance to get out.

Beautiful classic hotel
