The service and personnel was very friendly. I liked the gym and the pool very much. Also relaxing after the gym in the sauna was great. The room was great, with great service and it was very clean.
The air purifier and humidifier is right next to the bed and I got a sore throat after the second night. This could be also a coincidence, but the cold air is blown directly on the bed.

Très beau cadre et bien situé
Petite déception lors du petit déjeuné ! Sensation d’être oublier après avoir passé commande

Having been going to Shanghai in the past 20 years and have stayed at many five star hotels, I now think Puli Hotel & Spa is my favourite hotel for its impeccable facilities and thoughtful service. The staff is always welcoming and helpful, from the bell boys to receptionists to bar tenders. Also, I had the best margarita mixed by Eden, a brilliant, young and pleasant mixologist at the bar.
can’t think of anything

Clean simple modern interior design with excellent food and friendly capable staff.
the only thing is the toilet in guest room isn’t the best like the ones in the lobby area.

super stylish hotel with great service. want to come back

Very convenient location, spacious room with excellent view, very good SPA and facilities, very clean. The staff is helpful, speaking English, arranging anything you might need, taxi, deliveries etc.
Breakfast wasn't as I would expect from such hotel. Very limited menu and not worth for the money. Still tasty though.

The hotel environment and the location are very good and the service awareness of the service team is considerate
But there is still the ever-present problem of sound insulation.

Everything was perfect from the moment I arrived: caring, personalised service, upgraded room with view over the temple despite today being a busy holiday, comfortable and beautiful room, very good breakfast. The Puli remains my favourite destination for a staycation in Shanghai
4.5
The hotel is good design, the staff were very helpful went above and beyond, the location is convenient with easy access to the metro lines 2 and 7, a number of restaurants and shopping within a short walking radius
Ordering taxi/car service from the hotel we would have to wait a long time, and would end up just ordering ourselves.
4.5
Room service was exceptionally kind, but so were the grooms and about every person I interacted with. Spacious bedroom, great bathtub, loved every minute.
4.5
excellent service, quality of amenities, room and location
few veggie options in breakfast although they were kind to make special food

The quiet and modern interior was comfortable. And the staff's attitude was professional, so I liked it. The food was great.
I want to visit again, but one thing I lack is that the sink is too narrow to put my cosmetics on the dressing table. That was uncomfortable.

Superb bedroom with stunning view over the city line and Jing'an Temple. The hotel decoration is elegant and modern, yet with a strong identity. It feels trully special.
The swimming pool and spa facilities were beautiful. It felt like an oasis in the middle of the city.
The restaurant was unfortunately fully booked, but breakfast was very good although rather expensive.
4.5
location
no service, no restaurant, very limited choice and unexplainable expensive. not what you are expecting from a “luxury “ hotel
4.5

convenient location
ambiance are getting old even if maintenance is good, not much to complain about tho

my favorite one in Shanghai, the rooms, the interior design, the staff, the care about every detail, I go to Puli every time I come to Shanghai ❤️🔥

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, YOU WILL REGRET! The location is convenient but for this price, you’re better off booking the ShangriLa or the Ritz Carlton. Honestly, the Swiss Hotel is a much better deal because the Puli hotel room and staff is not even worth this price!!!!
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, YOU WILL REGRET!!!! My room started leaking from the ceiling above the TOILET! How disgusting and unsanitary. The front desk completely disregarded the issue and simply said send would send someone to change the room. Since it was the long holiday, I didn’t want to be that annoying customer to cause more trouble for the staff.
They sent an usher to help us move to the second room. Immediately when we stepped in, the room smelled of smoke. I told the usher and he replied: “I don’t smell anything.” You’d expect a smoke-free hotel to at least make sure their rooms don’t smell like smoke.. I called the front desk again and raised the concern. To which they offered to give us some diffusers to help with the smell. After I heard that, I was furious.
A few moments later, finally someone knocked on the door to come check on the Smokey smell. The female staff did not identify who she is and did not even apologize for the inconvenient. This was the 2nd room we have had to move to because of the hotel’s own room issues.
By the 3rd room, the same level room as I had booked, I was so disappointed with the quality of rooms and lack of service that I did not even want to call front desk again. The room had 0 amenities! No slippers, nothing. The paneled doors to the bathrooms didn’t budge as they’re old and stuck on the tracks. The automated curtains get stuck. Worst of all, you can hear people’s footsteps from the room above ALL NIGHT LONG!!!
Everything is just breaking down at this property. Worst of all, there’s 0 care in their service. Their staff has absolutely no regard for their guests. I wasn’t looking for an upgrade or a free stay, I paid 3k rmb ($460 usd) for this hotel. I just wish someone would actually acknowledge the issue and how inconvenient it is to move 3 rooms!!!!!
If you like wasting money, stay at this hotel. Otherwise, stay away at all cost!!! WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Everything!!!! Everything was simply perfect. The staff couldnt have been nicer or more helpful. Made me feel lime a king- nothing was too much trouble and they gave me a cake for my birthday! I could live there….my new favourite hotel
The nuts in the bar….thats the only thing I can find fault with….so thats not bad!!!! I still ate them though!! 🤣🤣🤣

I planned a surprise for my husband at The Puli hotel and the staff was incredible accomodating and kind. The front desk and concierge were lovely and let me check in earlier than planned.
The restaurant and spa staff were also really professional. The spa is wonderful and quiet, the rooms are great too. I wish puli would have an outdoor pool :)
overall it was really amazing and can’t wait to be back.
The hotel f&b is good really like the food even tho it’s a bit pricey. Drink list is great though I would like me to see an upgrade on the wine selection.

Room upgraded it was spacious. Plenty movies to choose for entertainment. Convenient location next to metro station and shopping malls. Breakfast was excellent with different choices. Food area for sides dishes could expand a little bit more space.
Slippery bathtub. TV screen is small and sound effect not so good, it could have link to the main TV.

The style, the structure itself and the swimming pool
The check-in, the prices, some missing details
