We loved the in town location for dining and shopping and proximity of Acadia entrances. I especially liked that everything was provided to us: linens, paper products, well stocked kitchen...veema answered questions promptly.

This was a fantastic property in an amazing location in downtown Bar Harbor. You couldn't really ask for a better location. The host was hospitable and a fantastic communicator. My family of of four had an amazing time and it was great having this property as a base!
Oh, it is also about 2-3 blocks from the Island Bar Trail, which was pretty great!

So close to all the shops & restaurants. Very clean! Bring your own coffee, shampoo & body wash. Don’t count on responses from the property manager.

The property was immaculate and comfortable. The location could not be better. Less than a block to coffee shop, restaurants, and shopping. Just a few short blocks to the coast and sunset viewing.

Home was clean and in a great location to walk all of Bar Harbor shops and restaurants. Also nice being able to walk to the Explorer bus stops to access Acadia park trails and sights without parking issues if you come during busy season (bus only runs certain months, did not use this visit but have on previous visits and LOVED the easy access)

Clean, nice layout, great location to everything!

You can’t beat the location on a quiet nook off Cottage Street - one of the two main shopping and dining streets - in Bar Harbor. You are just feet from a great coffee shop/bakery, and all the shops and restaurants. And the grocery store is a 2 min walk. The house itself is very basic, but the pictures reflect it accurately. The house comes with one parking spot and all other parking in the area is metered. It’s easy to come by if you have a second car, but you will pay to park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay. We were three women so we all had our own room which was nice. I can’t think of anything that was missing. Kitchen and bathrooms and laundry were all stocked with everything we needed. The location was close to everything. Could even walk to the grocery store.
I highly recommend and hope to have an opportunity to stay here again!

Host Veena is great communicating with her guests. The location is perfect for walking around downtown Bar Harbor. It was well stocked with all you need and having washer/dryer on-site is a plus when traveling for more than a week!

Great place to stay in Bar Harbor

This place was just off the main street and very quite. Everything was easy to walk to. The condo was the perfect size for 4 to 6 people and was a great place for use to relax after our busy days. Our contact for the condo was so helpful with a very minor TV issue and solved it immediately. We would love to stay there again.

Property is in a great location, next to a bakery, 5 minute walk to downtown and easy access to Acadia National Park. Have stayed twice and will probably return.

We love the location and walkability to everything in downtown. Nice spacious family home with board games, furnished kitchen and communicative accomodating manager. Definitely worth the price. One suggestion - Addition of a shower gel dispenser in baths would make it super helpful.

The location of this property is remarkable!! Literally an easy walk to a majority of Bar Harbor’s shops and restaurants and an easy drive to Acadia’s many attractions.
The property is well equipped and was extremely comfortable to stay in.

Quiet location to walk to everything downtown including grocery store. Well stocked with paper products and towels. Traveled as a group of 3 girlfriends. It was nice to all have our own bedroom and access to washer/dryer. Easy check in/out. We had a fabulous getaway here.

Townhouse is centrally located to lots of restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. It is quiet at night, too. Plenty of space inside. Wish the downstairs shower was a bit larger; however, having 2 full baths is nice.

This townhouse was just back behind Cottage Street which is the main street into Bar Harbor. It was quiet and private. We couldn't have been any better located to downtown Bar Harbor! Just steps from our front door! Beautiful, well equipped home, very clean rental. Would highly recommend this home! We look forward to a return stay.

Great location! Good amount of space for my family. We had a 3 year old and 4 year old, me and my spouse and my mother in law. Having a kitchen and living room was really great for the little ones to chill out between activities. With everyone’s phones, tablets, and iPads I was also happy with the number of outlets.

We loved the location because it was quiet yet we walked to shopping, restaurants, harbor, kayaking and bikes. Weather was gorgeous and we were so happy for the air conditioning. So happy we didn’t have to look for parking. This house has lots of cleaning products and towels. Enjoyed having a washer and dryer. The toaster was broken and after contacting Veena, she dropped off a new one within hours. We will be back cause there was so much we wanted to do but ran out of time. First time visit and fell on love with Bar Harbor. Thank you Veena!!

Central yet quiet location with generous supplies
We were very happy with the townhouse. Everything we needed for a comfortable and convenient stay was provided, with generous paper, cleaning and laundry supplies and ample towels for our use. The location was fabulous. Even though it is close to the middle of downtown, it was a peaceful place to stay and an easy walk to the sand bar, restaurants and shops. It took us only ten minutes to bike to the carriage roads of Acadia . We really appreciated the air conditioning during the heat wave. The King bedroom downstairs has a fan only, and an air conditioner there would have been better. We would have liked privacy window shades Our host, Veena was very friendly. We would recommend this rental.

Excellent property for families
The location of this property can not be beat! It is within walking distance to all shops, breweries and restaurants as well as the grocery store, but set off the main road to provide privacy and quiet evenings. The sleeping situation was ideal for our family of 4, but could easily accommodate 6. It may seem silly, but what I found to be one of the nicest features was access to additional bath linens. Small features like that and the family games available in the rental exceeded our expectations. Top notch!

Amazing Bar Harbor Getaway
This was the perfect property to have for the week during our trip to Bar Harbor. There was a king bed for me and my SO and a queen bed for our friend with 2 full baths giving us plenty of space. The location is right downtown which allowed us to go out every night and not have to worry about driving. Extra perk of not having to pay for parking as it seems like that could be costly. Would definitely stay here again.

Bar Harbor townhouse
The property was perfect. Great location right in Bar Harbor. Walking distance to everything in town. Townhouse was well stocked. Had its own parking spot and quiet even though it was in the middle of town. Highly recommend. Communication was easy and always prompt.

Location, location, location
We could easily walk to everywhere we wanted in town. It was our first visit to Bar Harbor, and early in March, so not every restaurant or shop was open for the season. But enough we’re that we were never without a place to eat or find anything we needed or wanted, and getting around was not only easy but a fun adventure. And easy access to the sites and hikes in the park.
The Retreat itself was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with what we needed. Just off the Main Street, a private drive kept noise at a minimum. Kitchen had a large dining table; full bath on the first and second floors made life easy.
This was the first multi-night stay of a two week trip with friends, and it set a high bar for the rest of our travel. The price couldn’t be bear for the location, comfort, and convenience.

Incredibly convenient. Had everything we needed. You may want to bring shampoo and soap for the shower. Great stay. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Quiet hideaway in the middle of everything!
Loved the location! Within walking distance of most things you want to do in Bar Harbor. Accommodations were great and loved that it was set back from the street and very quiet. Kitchen had all you would need for preparing meals including a lobster pot! Note: the townhouse is sparsely furnished (more seating needed) and additional lighting could be added in the living room as it was hard to see to read or play games, and in the kitchen the overhead light didn't reach the countertops. But overall a pleasant experience and if these things are attended to, I would definitely book again!
