Exceptional

Everything! First of all, the hotel is a direct positive reflection of Mrs. Kokona and her family, especially lovely miss Kokona, the grand-daughter. İt's very clean, new, beautifully decorated, comfortable, in the center town but on a very peaceful street. Their breakfast is exceptional. We've spent 4 nights there and already we miss them! We'll definitely come back next year. Thank you dear Kokonas!

Lovely family run hotel in pretty Symi

Mrs Kokona and her grand daughter were very lovely people - the rooms were nicely decorated - comfy beds, luxurious towels, brilliant air-conditioning, big modern bathroom. Breakfast was very generous and varied - good choice of items.

Loved our stay at Kokona

The service is fantastic. The family are so welcoming and helpful. Great location close to the shops but also out of the way so it isn't noisy. Helped us with our bags all the way from the port which was so generous.

Nothing to dislike! The room is on the small side and bathroom is also small but enough room for everything you need. You can't beat it for the price, location, and the kind service.

The perfect hotel in a picture perfect Symi

The location was great, just behind the port. Near enough to make the most of the facilities, but far away enough for peace and quiet. Our breakfast terrace was right by the church, on Sunday morning our breakfast was enhanced by the Priest singing prayers. The family who own/ run Kokona are dedicated and attentive. They are happy to be flexible and accommodating. The breakfast is ordered the night before, plenty of choice and so nicely presented.

Wonderful small family-run hotel in great location with made to order breakfast

Great location - a 2 minute walk from the harbor port. Our room was a corner room with a window on one side and a balcony on the other facing the old church bell tower. The hotel loaned us beach towels as well as beach umbrellas! For the breakfast each morning we could select up to 14 different items, and it was served in a lovely little outdoor space under the vine leaves. The aircon worked great, and the mini-fridge kept things quite cold. The shower was good.

The bathroom sink had zero space around it for anything, even soap or a toothbrush. No place. There were not towel hooks near the shower so you had to put the towel on the sink before getting into the shower.

In Symi? stay here

We have never felt more at home and welcomed as we did within the first 30 seconds of arriving for check in. We had been on an all day boat trip and checked in rather late. this wasn’t a problem and the hospitality of the family was incredible. We met the generations of the family and we saw the wonderful, long standing family history in this business in real time. We were so sad that we were only staying 1 night before our 0745 ferry back to Rhodes. This hotel would be our first choice for long stay. The location is amazing, walking distance to the port. Walking distance to the mini market where big water is 50 cents. Fresh fruit. Beautiful taverna cafe and restaurants outside the hotel. Gorgeous interior - brilliant bed. Had the best night’s sleep. Brilliant air con, high quality white fluffy towels, perfect for a freshen up after 7 hours on a boat.

Please don't tell anyone else about this gem!!

Hotel was just behind the picturesque harbour so insignificant short incline to it. Consequently very convenient for all bars, restaurants and shops as well as boat transfers to beaches etc. and yet quiet at night. Lovely genuine welcome from Kokona and her relatives/colleagues which continued during our stay. Rooms decorated and appointed to v high level and personally prepared and delicious breakfast.

En suite perhaps a little tight but wouldn't stop us going back

EXCELLENT HOSTS, GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP..

The hospitality provided by hosts Grandmother and Granddaughter team Kokona's was the best I had encountered in a hotel for a long time. Location was perfect, within minutes walk to the harbourfront and yet so tranquil, I had the best night's sleep in their very very comfy beds and pillows. Slept like a log and felt as if I was born again in the morning. The hotel is extremely clean and hygienic. Rooms of good size as is the bathroom which has a generous choice of bathroom utensils such as shampoos body lotion and etc. A boutique hotel with a 5 star luxury service... Save yourself time in searching for hotels in Symi and go ahead and book this amazing hotel as you won't be disappointed. Boutique hotel with a 5 star rooms and service from a Family who cares.. Great value for money..

Family run small hotel, with spotlessly clean rooms, tucked away just behind the port with balcony overlooking small side street. Such lovely people who own the hotel and we recommend highly. Grandmother and granddaughter so very friendly and kind, we loved staying here. The bed was really comfortable, room bright and good size and excellent shower. Breakfast made to order also lovely. We will definitely come back to you, thank you both
