Stayed here twice and would gladly return or recommend to others.

Very comfortable with excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff, excellent location with free parking.

The coffee machine and pods, would have preferred an electric jug. This a minor personal quibble that doesn't detract from what was a very fine stay.

Alright, within walking distance from town centre.

Beds were alright for a three-guest stay.

The window would not close easily, looking on a potentially noisy roundabout. Window frame needs checking.

Bad sleep and interrupted twice

There was no breakfast when breakfast was included in the ad. Paid for a 20 square metre king sized room and was put into a smaller room. At 1am we had to change rooms as there were other guests above us making lots of noise. So we had to pack up and change in the night. When we changed to the next room we wondered why we weren't put into it from the start. We were put into a bad room when there were better rooms available. I would suggest that in future it makes sense to put guests into the better rooms if rooms are available. Ratings would be better and the guests would be happier. In the morning after being up late the cleaning lady walked into our room at 10am when checkout is 11am. So overall it was a bad experience and I won't recommend it to anyone.

Terrible!

Room size, bed comfort

Fire Alarm went off at 0620 (am) and no one was at the hotel. Fellow tenants found a off switch behind the reception desk after 25 minutes of a loud alarm No fire brigade ever arrived, so after 25 minutes it appears that the alarm does not trigger an automatic call to the fire brigade. We called the number left on the counter for the night clerk (sign said, currently away, please call in case of emergency)... well we called that number multiple times during the 25 minutes and there was never an answer. 2 hours later still no one managing the property. Total failure for safety.

El ruido insoportable del grupo de jóvenes borrachos que llegó muy tarde en la noche, gritando, saltando e intentando abrir nuestra puerta porque en ese estado ni siquiera sabían el número de su habitación....No pudimos dormir nada. La persona de recepción no puso atención.

Freche Zimmerpreise zum St. Patricks Day

Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Die Zimmer waren in schlechtem Zustand. Abgenutzte Möbel. Abgeplatzte Bereiche an den Wänden, offene Putzstellen. Die Tür vom Badezimmer nicht abschließbar und generell nicht schließbar, da die Klinke nicht funktionierte. Extrem hellhöriges Hotel. Im Zimmer über uns könnte wirklich das ganze Gespräch belauscht werden und das sich dort nachts um 1 übergeben würde war auch nicht zu überhören. Wir waren zum Festival dort. Preis für 3 Nächte mit 480€ ohne Frühstück empfinde ich bei dem Ausrüstungszustand schon als frech.

Restful

A hotel that was low in price but big on comfort and beauty. The room was cosy and the area very quiet. I don't usually sleep well in new places, but I slept great here! The room was clean, felt secure and the shower was easy to use. I had a problem with my keycard at the start which the staff fixed immediately and from then on I had no bother whatsoever. I was also given a key for the front door to allow full access at any time of the day or night. During check-out I didn't feel like I was being rushed away at all and the staff were again very friendly and helpful. Overall a lovely stay, will go back in the future 🌟

Good location but hotel was so so dirty.

The location of the hotel was good.

The room was filthy! The bed sheets were not clean, the bathroom was really dirty, cobwebs and dust everywhere, there were stains all over the carpet, floor had not been hoovered. There was also a strange smell in the room.

To be honest, it was too pricey for what we got!

The bed was large and very comfortable.

The bathroom was very shabby and really could do with a revamp. The toilet seat was removed and just propped beside the loo! The lino in the bathroom has seen better days and the shower cubicle could also do with an upgrade.

Room 114 Troysgate house

Room and beds were tidy Location was pretty good as it was minutes walk to the city centre

Room and bed were comfy and tidy Bathroom in room 114 was absolutely horrendous Tiles were lifting off the floor and the main floor was damp and moulded underneath Shower was terrible, hasn't been refurbished in years Seriously expensive at €598 for 2 nights Tho we only paid €359 on the Booking. Ie website

Only 1 towel, very old and needs updating, no light in on suite toilet also no tea or coffee facilities in room and windows would not open as they are old.

great price and location just not accessible

The receptionist Jenny was there our whole stay and was absolutely amazing with us. I left my ring behind and she found it and offered to post it back to me! The bed was extremely comfy and my room was quite large.

If you struggle with stairs there isn’t a lift but it wasn’t an issue for us !
