Ottima esperienza!

Ottima la colazione irlandese, preparata dall'host al momento. La casa è arredata in maniera deliziosa e la posizione dell'alloggio è davvero comoda, vicino al centro.

Purtroppo la nostra camera aveva una tenda sottile poco oscurabile e al mattino il sole puntava dritto sulle nostre facce a letto.

Etape sympathique pour visiter la jolie ville de Kilkenny.

Très jolie maison. Les hôtes sont chaleureux. Jolie chambre confortable et bien équipée (1er étage sans ascenseur). Petit déjeuner irlandais proposé dans une salle à manger très lumineuse. On peut se garer dans la rue (payant dans la journée). Centre ville accessible à pied.

Solides B&B - gerne wieder, wenn einen die Reiseroute hier vorbei führt

Nettes B&B mit ordentlichem Zimmer und Bad. Reichhaltiges Frühstück und die Altstadt mit Schloss Kilkenny in 10-15 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen.

Nichts auszusetzen - alles, was man von einem B&B erwartet.

Stroll to sights in Kilkenny

Lovely comfortable B&B conveniently located to all you want to do in Kilkenny. Delicious full Irish breakfast. One of our favourite stays on a 3 week tour. Would totally recommend.

The room was not soundproof. I can hear people walking outside when I'm in the room. But the price is affordable and the staff is very friendly so I have no complaints

Friendly staff, would recommend

Great little B&B offering free parking near the city centre. Owners are very friendly, allowing us to park our car early and check in early as the room was ready. Great to be able to park and freely explore Kilkenny. Lovely breakfast, including vegetarian breakfast, and all round great stay. Beds were comfy and room was nice. Homely decor.

Everything was great. Facilities might be a bit on the "not modern" side but it's a homely B&B and everything works fine, and the price and location are unmatched. Can't complain!

Great locations, beds needs updating

The location was centrally located so that was a big plus but it took awhile to find due to one way streets. We were using Apple Maps. The breakfast was good. The host did help carry one of our suitcases up the wood stairs as my husband had a knee injury.

The twin bed in the room was HARD, the larger bed was an old spring loaded one that was uncomfortable, squeaked everytime one of us moved. My husband suggested that I pad my side of the bed with the extra comforter that was in the closet. That helped me, along with a sleep aid. The room was cold. The host did come in to show us how to make adjustments however the bathroom was warmer than the bedroom. I don’t mind an older building, Bob but the beds should definitely be updated.

Everything was perfect!

If you want to plan your stay in Kilkenny, the best place to go is Celtic House. You will be overwhelmed by the tasty Irish breakfast and friendly and caring host Angela and John Byrne. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Perfect!

I would put even more stars if possible! Everything was perfect! Great location for walking around Kilkenny. Room really comfortable clean and cozy. The owners were extremely kind and welcoming. Perfect breakfast. I definitely recommend it and for sure we will come back!

Perfect stay

The hosts were so accommodating and friendly, free parking, location was so close to the city centre, room was spacious, bed was very comfortable, good shower facilities and the WiFi was excellent. The breakfast was included in the room rate, and was delicious. Highly recommend anyone to stay here when in Kilkenny.

the location was excellent for proximity to near by restaurants and pubs. Staff was also very friendly and breakfast was very good.

We stayed in room 3. The mattress on the bed seemed very tired and in need of replacement.

Great spot!

Perfect location! Close walking distance to the Smithwicks experience and Kilkenny castle. Also able to skirt all the traffic from the city center. Was warned from Co. Kerry locals of the traffic nightmare Kilkenny can be but didn’t experience ANY of that with this perfect spot. Rooms were largest on our trip. Comfortable beds, nice shower. The Irish breakfast was sublime! My husband couldn’t stop talking about it on the rest of the trip 😁

Great location and clean but we wouldn't return to stay..

Hosts Agelina and John were very warm and friendly. The property was spotless clean.. Room was a good size and the bed very comfortable

The noise of people moving throughout was disturbing at night time and early morning from 8.30 am. This is caused solely by the facts that all the floors are wooden surfaces. The hallways, stairs, landings,dinning room and bedrooms.... carpet fitted to the stairs and floor rugs could possible correct the problem.

Celtic House is a quality B&B.

The staff was friendly. The room was spotless. The breakfast was excellent. The location was within walking distance of the town center and major tourist sights. It was quiet and had eclectic decor.
