lacks air conditioning system though they provide standing heaters
7.0
Good budget accommodation in the centre of the city. Nice having a balcony room facing the street.
The shower head was a bit awkward with it's placement.
8.0
great location, very comfortable
9.0
Great location, right by all the amenities you might need, a cafe with nice breakfast, a supermarket and a pharmacy, and the harbour is right there as well. It is very nice decorated, welcoming, making you feel like at home.
There is no lift, and the stairs are a bit steep
6.0
perfect location, comfortable bed and very nice staff
unbearably warm, couldn’t open the window as it faced the street and there wa no air conditioning

My friends and I loved the very central location of the Hotel Covadonga. We spent the nights of July 3rd and 4th there and enjoyed the very special little town of Ribadesella. Cristina, on the front desk, was very helpful in suggesting other places to visit when she realized the Picos de Europa would be too mist covered to enjoy the views. She also suggested a really great place almost next door where we had a lovely breakfast both mornings. Cristina was also helpful in making local dinner suggestions.
The hotel itself is old and quirky but super clean, with all the modern conveniences ( but no lift) There were three of us, which sometimes means you get a room with an extra folding bed set up in the corner. But this was a large room , actually two rooms, with a glassed in balcony out to the back street.
I would most definitely recommend the Covadonga, and in fact I plan on going back to see the Picos. I will most certainly stay there again.
Nothing at all.

We only stayed one night, arrived late and left early. It was an absolutely charming hotel right in the heart of charming Ribadesella. There was a street market the next morning. The waterfront is beautiful and surrounded by lovely restaurants and cafes. The price was super low. The balcony was a great place to hang out. Super nice people.
I can't think of anything. I might have preferred a double\queen\king bed? There was no elevator, but they carried our bags up before I could get back from parking the car.

Perfect location, beautiful old building, kind staff, very clean, and simply decorated.
Small room but everything we needed as in we wanted comfort, not ‘frills’ and good value for money.

A gorgeous room 2 floors up. Really nicely furnished. Perfect location for the town. Great staff. Would go back!
Not a complaint, but being in a town, parking was a free car park a short distance away for my motorbike - however I could see it from my balcony! :)
Also being in a town, the Spanish do like to stay up late on a weekend! bear that in mind in Summer and take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper!
neither of these were an issue to me.

Quite and small hotel which has an excellent quality-price ratio. Confy and the personnel very kind and welcoming. We went for one-night stay... Excellent nothing bad to say about the accomodation

Location was very good, room space and balcony were great
The walls were a little bit dirty, the property feels really old, and the decoration could be improved
8.3
The room was spacious.
It was a little noisy at night because of the nearby pubs.
8.8
Great property well located and friendly staff
No facilities RE food or drinks
