We had a lovely stay

Great location. Quaint little cabin.

Overall good location excellent views everything that could be needed to prepare meals and store food adequate heat sources the only complaint is the lack of adequate sleeping options for couples of who do not have children one request would be more comfortable sleeping options for the lower level ie a daybed with a slide out underneath or a Murphy bed that could be stored against the wall instead of the bunk bed it just doesn't serve the purpose when the only other option is a windy spiral staircase to reach the beds of decent size that are on the floor which is also a difficulty for most people to get up from and climbing stairs like this is difficult

Absolutely no response from property management/staff when I reached out to them as a courtesy regarding a personal concern with the stay. I feel this is a significant expression of ignorance and complete lack of professional decorum on the management's behalf. I should have taken note of the numerous negative reviews for the property as well as the management's response to those reviews. Each response redirects all accountability from themselves and is bereft of any sincerity.

Needs a bit of updating - no vibe, loft seemed quite dangerous stairs were practically straight up. Motion lite would not shut off.
Area around toilet felt like in was going to fall through floor. No hairdryer, no back blind on back door, bed doesn’t sleep 2 adults.
View of lake was nice.
We left day early because of all the issues made it not enjoyable.

I really enjoyed my stay, but the staird to the top floor are very dangerous. I tripped and fell a couple times. This kind of stairs should be forbiden. It is impossible for old people to use, and very dangerous for kids.

All photos need to be updated. The stairs are no longer a spiral, they basically lead straight up and are a massive danger hazard to children.
woodstove wasn’t working, it was clearly listed that a working woodstove was included. There was spiderwebs in every corner you could see. deck was unusable due to 2 feet of snow covering it. The front of the cabin looked like it was falling apart since it was just covered in different pieces of plywood.

This was meant to be a trip to relax and keep things low key, and it was. The cabin was clean, and had a lot of dishware and utensils to use. There were a couple things that we should mention. There was a dead mouse on the kitchen floor when we came in. Could have nothing to do with cleanliness, might have just been getting out of the rain. Also, the trail to the lake wasn't very cleared or maintained, so we didn't go down to check it out. Overall we had a good stay.

Interesting cabin. The loft/sleeping area is accessible for only the brave. The bathroom/shower are a bit tight. Be careful of the deck railing. The cabin is also 30 minutes or so from a grocery store.
The gas grill is awesome. The kitchen and living space were both very nice. Vacasa was a great rental agency to work with!

It a great location and cozy cabin setting. The makeshift stairs leading to the upstairs loft area (top 3 beds) are dangerously steep. Also there were multiple broken rails around the deck area with loose panels. There were pictures of a dock included with the property and we were not able to use the dock as it was dry docked with row boats padlocked on top of it. Customer service gave is an “I’m sorry.”

We loved our time at the Sweet Retreat! A great place, just a short walk from Lake Wenatchee. Bring your floaties and maybe some camping chairs to relax next to the peaceful lake. We did run out of garbage liners during our stay, but other then that the house was well equipped for all our cooking needs. Thanks for a great place to stay!

We had a great stay at the Sweet Retreat! The cabin is a nice home base for spending all day on the lake. It looks to be well loved and is in need of a few fixes but nothing that detracted from the stay for us. It had everything we needed. Plenty of beds and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. It was hot out so the cabin got pretty warm but there was a fan that helped to keep it adequately cool. The deck is nice but the mosquitoes were out in full force, lol, so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. We came for the lake and it did not disappoint! The walk to the lake is easy, even loaded down with bags. The scenery is beautiful. We really enjoyed this property!

Property is in poor condition. Extremely high weeds. Small bathroom, with floor sinking around toilet. No railings for the front steps, my wife fell down the steps. That alone is not up to any building codes. Overall not satisfied and would not recommend.

This little cabin was a gem! We had a great stay. There were plenty of beds (6 + couch), lots of clean towels and blankets, and kitchen had all the pots, pans and utensils needed. The water access was amazing and we loved kayaking all around that beautiful lake.
The only upgrades that would make it even better are ...
-Stair rail is loose (I thought the stairs to the loft were fine, but the railing was loose).
-The screen door was torn and with all the mosquitos it really needed to not be.
-The coffee pot lid was missing a piece and the coffee took over 2 hours to brew and not very tasty.

Cozy Cabin Retreat is the perfect blend of cozy and rustic! We were happy to discover the beds were clean and that towels were provided. The kitchen comes fully stocked with meal preparation essentials; however, there is no ventilation hood over the range. The only drawback was that we couldn't use the wood stove, but that's not really their fault because the snowpack brought down the chimney. The trail to the lake access is right across the street and the area is absolutely beautiful! We also happened to leave behind some personal items and Vacasa customer service helped track them down to ship to us. We are very thankful for the help!

The steps from the driveway to the deck were not shoveled or cleared (even though we were assured this would be done) so it was scary slippery to navigate, especially with luggage.
If you go here in the winter, you won't have access to the woodstove for fires, they don't maintain it. They don't clear the deck of snow, so sitting outside to star gaze is out. They just rope it off. They don't clear the trail for lake access so come prepared with snow shoes or risk sinking into the deep snow as you make your way down.
The dishes weren't all clean, which was surprising since they charge so much for cleaning.
Outside of that, it was a quiet, tranquil place to celebrate our anniversary. If we ever came again, it would be in the summer

Cabin was good, a little bit dirty but nothing bad for a cabin that is used as a vacation rental. Worst part was the garbage cans outside were both pretty full with food and other item, this attracted a bear in that broke the cans and left the driveway littered, I had to clean it up just so we could leave. Others than that it was a great stay

Very cute little cabin, well stocked with everything you would need for basics. The “dock” needs some repairs/replacement and the BBQ needs to be replaced, but other than that, it was a great getaway. If you go, be sure to hike to Hidden Lake!! Short drive, beautiful hike & a very peaceful place!! Had a great time here!!

Took the whole family for my husband’s birthday and everyone had so much fun. We sledded right there at the house, there were plenty of beds for all of us and the cabin was really neat. The kids loved the stairs and the loft (although i made my 4yo climb down the stairs under much supervision- theyre awesome but steep. We cant wait to book again - will be back any time of year!

The location
2.0
This cabin is listed as located in Leavenworth and the pictures give the idea it is near the cities signage. The cabin is actually deep in the mountainous edge of Leavenworth and is area is not plowed frequently. The owners made little to no attempt maintain the walkways or the amenities such as the desk because they were covered with so much snow we couldn’t use the deck. The cabins main source of heat is a wood stove er we found out had no wood when we arrive and had to be purchased in town….which is a 40 minute drive. Lastly, check in for the first day isn’t until 4pm so you are paying $400 to stay from 4-midnight. Should have rented a hotel.

The location was nice with the lake just down the hill and we had snowfall, which my dog loved! The cabin was clean and comfortable.

Our group enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin, a great location along the shores of Lake Wenatchee and close to all the beautiful surroundings and activities around Leavenworth. The open living area was just big enough for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids to enjoy all hanging out in the space, comfy couches and a nice TV for watching movies. The space was clean and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. The only reason I would not recommend this cabin to all, as has been echoed in other reviews, are the very steep stairs. It's almost somewhere between a staircase and a ladder. My friend's 10 yr old and 5 yr old managed them fine, but even an adult not paying complete attention can have a bad slip. Definitely recommend overall, but not to those with mobility issues or who may not recover easily from a stair slip.

We were originally planning to rent this out during winter to take advantage of the snow in that area, but the weather didn't allow it, so we had to reschedule for the summer.
Is the 1st time that we stay in a cabin so my perspective might be off... but I felt it was too expensive for the location & value, there is not easy access to trails or the lake and the cabin itself is a bit crocked which made my stay really uneasy.

We stayed as a family of 5. Lots of beds, very rustic and sweet. Able to cook in the kitchen, and small bathroom for showering. Lots of heat sources for coziness. The lake area is gorgeous, but we didn't go into the water or use any boats, etc. Wifi works well, and we were able to watch movies at night.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. From the beautiful views to the evening BBQs - we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing way to spend a summer vacation.
2.0
It was so hot that we knew no one would be able to sleep, yet we couldn't even open the slider to create air flow because of a huge rip in screen that let in the mosquitoes, that were plentiful and ravenous. The "floating dock" was a tetanus trap with broken boards and exposed rusty nails. We left after 2 hours and got a hotel in Leavenworth. We were denied any sort of refund because air conditioning wasn't listed in the amenities, so apparently we should have been prepared to sleep in a sauna.

The cabin was lovely and had all the amenities you could want. The kitchen is fully stocked and the wifi is fast and supports many people/devices at once. It’s a great deal close to a state park and beautiful views near by.

Beds and bedding and whole set up made us very comfortable and felt welcomed. Thank you to owners and Samantha who really blessed our family to be able to stay here🙏🏾❤️

It was a great little cabin that met our needs for escaping the city. The Lake Wenatchee was close and easily accessible. The cabin was small but fit our family of five great. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the area and hope to return!

Had to shovel snow for 2 hrs just to reach front entrance. Was told it would be plowed before we arrived. Called the local number and was told I'd hear back from someone and never did. Ended up getting sick from sweating and being in the snow waist high for 2 hrs.

We had a relaxing trip, the place was clean and inviting. There weren't a lot of pans to cook with so gave us an excuse to eat out the entire trip.
The second floor was completely unusable due to the type of stair-steps, looked sturdy, but did not look safe for me, who once broke a leg just waiting in line for a drink at a bar. Dogs couldn’t go up at all (which, I guess could be the point, a space free of dogs). Unfortunate, really because there is plenty of space up there and the views, spectacular!!
The downstairs bedroom was comfortable but I couldn’t fit in the same bed with the BF and two dogs… so I took the top bunk.
Friendly neighbors and beautiful houses to look at when going for walks.
The only real let down was the “beach access”. Wasn’t alot of space, very small and once we trekked down their in our snowshoes, the dogs were ready to split. Wasn’t anything to do except take a ton of amazing photos!! Beautiful location and scenery.
Will definitely stay again and recommend!

Cabin was small but comfortable, plenty of beds. Minimum issues during our stay. Would stay here again.

Very cozy getaway
Overall the property was very clean and the layout of the cabin was perfect. A few things that could have been better were the motion sensor light on the stairs up to the property would not work. The stairs were incredibly slippery and steep with no railings. Our dog slipped going down so we walked him around the other side of the property most of the time. The shower curtain needs to be replaced - the smell was terrible. The stairs inside were also updated and while very nice and stable it changed our sleeping arrangements because there was no way our dog could ever get up or down. They are extremely steep and almost more like a ladder - different from the listing pictures. Overall though it was very easy to get to and we had a wonderful stay. We left early on our last day because a wind storm knocked out the power. We would definitely stay here again.

Friends Weekend
Overall we had a nice stay and the cabin was cute and cozy and nicely laid out. There were some things that made the level of cleaning somewhat questionable (i.e. items found under the ottoman from the previous occupants) but everything looked and smelled clean and they clearly replaced soap and sponges between stays. Area is nice and the view is pretty with some easy water access. Was unclear at booking that this cabin is right next to the road but you couldn't hear people driving from inside the house. Would stay there again.

Such a cute cabin
Such a cute and homie little cabin!!! Make sure to bring your own fire wood and blankets to cuddle up with. We built our own fire and grilled in the rain our whole stay!! There is a little private walkway to the lake with a dock as well. This cabin is so cute and we had so much fun on our stay!

Cabin in the woods...
