We had a few frustrations (couldn't check out after 10, had to buy toilet paper, no space in trash cans and texting guest services wasn't helpful, but the beauty of the environment and vicinity to Leavenworth was sweet!
5.0 / 5.0
It's an older house, but it's in this beautiful wilderness and it's got a lot of character. Everything works great and it's layout is prefect. Plenty of beds, everything is stocked well, and we loved all the games. Oh and the hot tub is really nice, clean, and new!
2.0 / 5.0
Pros: It was quite clean. The cabin is at a nice location, close to a main road while still feeling secluded. There are lots of sleeping options.
Cons: There was no remote for normal size TV on 1st floor, so had to watch sports on a tiny TV on 2nd floor.
The stairs in the house are very steep and very narrow.
The coffee pot was broken, jagged sharp edges, unusable.
The cover for the hot tub is cracked and did little covering of anything.
There are no steps to the hot tub, which made it almost impossible to get out of without falling. The patio is tilted and it is concerning that a large hot tub is on an uneven patio.
All in all, Would Not stay here again

I booked this home for a girls trip and it was great! The view was great and everything indoor was awesome too. The only down side was the hot tub not being cleaned or filtered before our stay since it was frothy and slippery when we got into it the first night and we didn't get back in it after but other than that, the house and stay was amazing and would definitely recommend

quiet location with plenty of parking. Good quantity of movies.
5.0 / 5.0
The location was nice and private, with some snow to play in and plenty of room in the house for everyone, and a few couches to be able to all sit around and play games and watch TV in the evenings.

We asked of the pingpong table, foosball and darts had been repaired prior to renting....we were told they had. All of the pingpong paddles were damaged or broken, there were no balls. Every single dart was broken and the foosball table had 2 missing players. Th hot tub was was warm not hot. The shower and sink backed up. The carpets and furniture were filthy. There were no mattress pads on any of the beds. We had a cupboard door fall off an upper cabinet, the oven handle broke off as well. Very disappointing to host a family vaca here.

We were looking for a place that all of our family and 2 dogs would be comfortable, this place was perfect.
4.0 / 5.0
Overall this place is clean and meets the needs of a place to lay your head, but did not have much at all in the way of amenities. We were there for a wedding so spent very little time there, but had we been planning to spend significant time at the rental we would have been a bit bummed with the broken ping pong table and hot tub covers. However, this place is clean, private and can comfortably sleep 8 people which is great!

Perfect place for quick access to the lake, hiking and sightseeing. Plenty of room for our group and activities for my teenagers.

We absolutely loved this home! Was well equipped with everything you needed for an entire stay. The kid's loved the game room and upstairs bedroom with the bunk beds too.

The home was clean and communication with the managing office was easy.

The property had a very nice location. Because of the lack of adequate A/C and air circulation throughout the 3 floors, we left a day earlier than planned. The heat was oppressive, no one could sleep. The washer would not spin - we had to travel with sopping wet items. The lowest level was full of spiders. The TV would not work. The freezer kept thawing. When your on vacation you don’t want to deal with systems that are not working. We did enjoy the area, lots to do and see. The kitchen was beautiful and the deck was a perfect hangout. Very private and quite. Beds and towels etc very clean. I would stay again if the air circulation issue was resolved.

Very clean, and had all the things we needed, had a smell to it but once we opened the windows and aired it out it was fine. Overall very comfy

The house worked for us and we enjoyed our stay but the air conditioner broke and it was very uncomfortable to sleep on the top floor. We reset the breaker as instructed by the property manager. We then communicated that the reset didnt work and they said they would tell their local managers but it was never fixed.

The location is very private which we loved. There were wild turkeys in the yard every day and a couple of days there was a coyote wandering around that we enjoyed watching. The house was clean but does have a fair amount of deferred maintenance. It didn't bother us but was something to note. The foosball table is close to falling apart and the ping pong table had a number of bubbles in the top. There were only 2 paddles and one ball that wasn't broken and one of the paddles was broken & taped back together sort of. We were able to find 2 paddles and some new balls in Leavenworth but hadn't anticipated needing to make that trip. The garbage can we were supposed to use was still full from the last tenants and was tipped over in a snowbank. There was a dog going through it a couple of days so we ended up leaving our garbage & recycling in the house. We did contact Vacasa a couple of times & they were very kind and helpful with all of our questions. They either answered the call or called back/texted back quickly.

It's a cute place with lots of room and activities for everyone. Other than garbage that was left in the bin by the sink, the home was nice and clean. You are definitely sharing the home with spiders. Everywhere you turn they are sure to be found. They leave you alone as long as you leave them alone, but if you launch an attack, be prepared for war. The water is absolutely disgusting!!! I don't know if it is just the local water or the filters need to be changed but it tastes and smells of eggs. We had to go but bottled water for drinking and even brushing teeth.... it is REALLY bad. The hot tub was nice and clean and the only other complaint that I have is that the power went out Nad never did figure out why. Contacted the agency about it and they got right on fixing the issue... went to the lake and Leavenworth and it was back on by the time we got back. All in all, it was a decent place to stay but unless they get the water issue fixed, I don't think I would stay again. I don't necessarily like smelling like a spoiled egg salad after taking a shower.

Nice layout but the lighting in some areas in house is hard to see at night, dishwasher needs to be stabilized, felt like it was going to fall out, and where shutoff is for hot tub Justin case an issue, all in all a nice place

Had a good time. Lots of space for 8 of us. Wi-Fi was slow and it was a little further from downtown Leavenworth than we expected but we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was great, except for the water was not hot enough and smelled like sulfur. Wi-Fi a little slow …other than that every OK!

We were comfortable even in the heat! We had fans and enough room for everyone

We were very excited to take our first trip to Leavenworth since we moved to Washington this year and visit a cabin-like home in the mountains for the 4th of July weekend.
We ended up leaving the next day due to not feeling comfortable and the home not being nearly as clean as we expected of a rental we paid a cleaning service fee for.
We attempted to express our concerns and were met with justifications as to why the issues were there. Receiving a message like this was very disappointing as there was little attempt for any compromise or accountability. We will book elsewhere in the future.

Okay place to stay
Not a bad place, little run down. Games missing parts and pieces. Hot tub was great. Overall enjoyed the stay but will find another place next time.

Could've been worse
Read the other reviews. First of all, the property address is technically Leavenworth but it is 20 miles west from Leavenworth proper. The house is as described in the listing-but could stand a good deep cleaning. There are cobwebs in the corners and dust. There was a later than usual snow-but Vacasa (owners) didn't bother to clean off the back deck where the bbq and hot tub are. There was a bag of sand outside the main entrance that had broke open so sand got tracked in the house each time we used that door. The bunk beds and another bedroom are on the 3rd (top) level, a consideration if you have smaller children. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Winter Time
Great Location to take kids and the ability to sled at the state park is super close. It’s about 20-25 minute run to Leavenworth. Stevens Pass isn’t far either.

We stayed for the weekend to celebrate our son’s birthday. The cabin was great & it’s super close to the snow park.

Large space in serene area
We rented this place as part of our group wanted to go to Leavenworth for the day and the other snowboarding at Steven's. Perfect location; it's aboit 30 minutes away from both.
House was as advertised. Lots of dishes and utensils in good shape. Fun to go through the CD collection. Hot tub was nice and our dogs were happy hanging out in the basement/entry area.
There was an alarm going off at the neighbors house when we arrived and it persisted for over 24 hours. It was annoying but not this property's fault or responsibility.
The electronics should be reviewed and pre-setup as cords were missing. My only other complaint/observation is that the house could use some updating. It is obviously a party house and it's seen some use.
My recommendation would be to have a laiminated binder or paper that discusses what to do with dirty linens, dishwasher, check out rules.
I would stay again! Great time.

Snowpocalypse Stay
Stayed here with a group of 8 during the worst winter storm Leavenworth has seen for 30 years. The property was spacious, albeit a little older than expected. The driveway has space for 5 cars, with a shed that provides cover to one car. This property is closer to Wenatchee than Leavenworth; it is about 30 minutes to the city and Stevens Pass (45 with snow). The hot tub was properly heated the first night we got there; because of the storm, the power went out (not the property's fault) and the hot tub became too cold for comfort even after the power came back on - make sure to prepare it at least an hour before you plan to take a dip. Ping pong and foosball in the basement was a hit. I should note that some guests who are highly sensitive to dust noticed their allergies (eczema and asthma) flaring up. During the storm, I called Vacasa to ask if we would be charged an extra night for being stuck at the property (due to the snow and the fact that our cars were buried under 3 feet of it - clearly an emergency circumstance - and they said that we would even if we had no way to leave). Vacasa also needs to work on their communication - when messaging them over VRBO ahead of our stay, they either never responded or communicated with us as if we had already stayed at the property and left; they are best reached over the phone. Overall, the stay was pleasant despite being stuck inside for most of the time, but there was much that needed to be improved.

Excellent location!
We loved this house. It was in a great location. Close to Leavenworth. We got to experience the snow we wanted. The hot tub was amazing. I love the set up of the house. No complaints on this property. Will definitely be back here.

This cozy cabin is exactly what I was looking for! Would definitely recommend!

We would definitely rent here again! This home was overall pretty clean with lots of fun amenities in a great location- good hiking, close to Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee. Fun to play ping pong, foos ball, and soak in the hot tub! Wifi was good for our music. Never turned on the tv. The board games we tried were missing cards/pieces- could use a clean-up/sort. It would be nice to have a little welcome booklet- we weren't sure about recycling, running the dishwasher, stuff like that. So we made our own recycle can; started the dishwasher when we left (but then couldn't tell if it was running), etc.Only suggestion with the kitchen- needs an inventory and organization. Things are hodge-podge all over the place; i.e., we found silverware in 3 separate locations (main drawer only had 3 forks, then we found more later across the kitchen); pots/pans/lids in 2 separate places, etc. We put things together that we found- ha ha!Everything worked great in the kitchen- glad for the coffee pot and microwave popcorn pot (bring your kernels)! Suggest adding an electric griddle- we definitely could not have reasonably made a pancake breakfast if we had more people with the fry pan that's in there. :-)Cleaning crew missed some relatively small things (i.e., couldn't get the light in lower stairwell to work (must have been burnt out); kitchen had someone's dusty golf cards hanging 1/2 way off the top of the fridge), but for sure nothing that impacted our stay.Looking forward to coming back!
