Great location right DT close to everything. Nice little place. Not setup for people who prefer to cook, kitchen is split in half, no dishwasher. the 2 person table is to large for the small corner. We (3) ate meals in the living room. Hot water issues, it would stop while doing dishes. Had to run bathtub on hot to get the on demand hot water heater to kick back on. I would stay there again but modify meals.

A good friend and I do an annual "girlfriends' getaway," and we found this place to be perfect for what we need: comfortable living room for talking-talking-talking, a well-stocked kitchen to cook in, two private bedrooms with comfortable beds and a "walk anywhere" location in Wabasha. The town is also an easy drive to Pepin, Scandia and Maiden Rock. We had a great time!

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were really nice. We were disappointed that Main Street was all tore up so most things were closed, but all the fall decorations were great. We would stay here again.

Although we did not care for industrial-feel surrounding the property, the inside was perfect! Very clean, plenty of towels, linens, and cleaning supplies. Kitchen well supplied, helpful the bathroom could be separated with a pocket door, appreciated the frosted glass in all the right places. Back room/hallway was super tight with bunk beds, washer/dryer and additional sink. Highly recommend this property for a cozy get-away for two.

We spent 3 nights here and had a great time.
House was clean and had everything we needed. Check in was easy and communication was great. One of the other reviews mentioned the noise from an exhaust fan coming from the restaurant next door. This fan is only a few feet away from the master bedroom so I think that tends to make it seem louder. If you are a light sleeper it’s something to consider. The only other issue is that the restaurant staff was sitting outside talking until 4:30 am. They have a small area in the back of the restaurant where they were sitting, again, only a few feet from our bedroom. This is not the fault of the VRBO property owner and I understand that things happen which is out of their control. Hopefully it’s not a recurring event because the loud talking and the exhaust fan made for a miserable night! Again, nice little property in the heart of downtown Wabasha that was very clean and convenient.

Old Bowlers' annual get-away.
The directions on how to use the access code were confusing. We actually called the emergency number for VRBO and talked to the owner's boyfriend who explained it to us.
We stripped our beds and were prepared to begin the washing process but there were still clothes in the washer and dryer from previous visitors.
The deck was a little more run down than the photo showed but still a nice little spot to have morning coffee.
Adding items such as tin foil, or plastic wrap would be nice.
We enjoyed our stay and are considering another stay in the future.
