Chambre vétuste, pas de draps, situé sur la plage au dessus des bars qui mettent la musique à fond jusqu’à pas d’heure, très mal insonorisé, rideaux non occultants et pompon: l’appareil à CB était cassé.

Clean, close to everything you need, hardworking and friendly owners

First of all, we would like to thank the owner and his family for their service and kindness during our stay! The owner also works at the airport and by chance the very night we were going home he was working, he came to the front of the plane to say goodbye to us one more time. We were surprised and very happy! Thank you so much! The hotel is right on the beach and has a wonderful view from the balcony. It is neat and clean. Reading the comments about the noise in the bar below we can say that we didn't have any problem all 4 nights. It was quiet and comfortable to sleep. I believe that the owner is doing everything he can along that. Breakfast is served on the roof, everything is tasty and clean, pancakes with honey and coconut will remain in our memory forever.

Ok für ein zwei Nächte

Alles soweit ok. Hat alles funktioniert. Betten bisschen hart. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße das war nicht so schön. Man konnte durch die Bar unten gehen und war am Strand. Das Frühstück war ausreichend.

Für den Preis gibt es schönere Unterkünfte.

Bad start, good finish

Breakfast was home made, simple but very tasty. Excellant

Initial room allocated was very poor. Did not compare to pictures on Booking.com. Complained and negotiated for a better room. Not a good start to my stay but it did improve considerably and I will stay there again.

Great stay and value for money

Great location on a very good area of the beach. The room was very clean. It was small but cosy and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. No complaints at all.

Everything was awesome!

I stayed there for four nights and it’s been awesome. I even got an upgrade when I arrived, so really enjoyed it. The hotel is literally on the beach and downstairs there is a cool bar that with the most beautiful sunset. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms were clean, fresh and had a comfy big bed. The breakfast was served on the beach. There were supermarkets and restaurants around and everywhere. WiFi worked well too! Everything was great. If I come back to Hikkaduwa, I will definitely stay again.

Genuine and awesome, makes me want to move to Sri Lanka

It’s likely to be the best value for money you can get in the area. The place is run by the owners and you can tell the care they put into making your stay as pleasant as possible. Location is idilic, food is good, bar on the ground floor, pretty lively and chill. Is it a 5 star resort from an international chain? No, and as such it doesn’t offer the luxury of these, but if that’s what you are looking to enjoy then maybe rethink visiting Sri Lanka, as their people and lifestyle is the true gem that they have to offer. If you like resorts and do-nothing holidays, go to Dubai or something.

a bit too pricey for the service

The location was good, central, to reach restaurants and bars, on the beachfront. The staff was very friendly and relaxed, we could leave our bags a few hours at the reception and they helped us to catch the bus.

Our room was not looking into the beach front but onto a construction site and onto the generator (running all the time due to power cuts) It was loud. Lack of space (like in most hotels of the street). The breakfast was very basic and no good value for the price.

Clean, comfortable, good facilities, very kind manager

Excellent location away from Hikka proper but near beach bars and restos, right on beautiful clean beach. I can't fault the hotel, the manager was extremely hospitable and kind, and went out of his way to help, and the room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was simple, eggs, toast, jam delicious fruit or juice.

The only reason I can't give the hotel top marks is because the surrounding bars have loud music on until at least midnight during the week - don't expect to sleep before 4am at the weekend, even with earplugs. It's a shame as the hotel is lovely and this is not their fault

Great place to stay in Hikkaduwa. The guest house is located right on the Narigama Beach, we could hear the ocean waves sound in the room. The room was clean and cozy. There were very tasty breakfasts with the ocean view, European or local breakfast👍🏻 The hosts were so friendly. They can help to arrange tours around the country, transfers. We had a great time in this place. Thank you so much!

Location at the beach, breakfast was good and is on rooftop, lots of restarurants and shops in the near

The owner overcharged us for the room during his dollar exchange rate to Rs. for at least $70-100 ... Thief! 370$ = 91 370Rs by his rate... For the 8 nights room was cleaned only once and changed sheets.

Excellent location and spectacular view from the room. Direct access to the beach. Plenty of amenities nearby (shops, restaurants, juice bars, spas). Very friendly personnel ready to help any time. Breakfast was also good.

Internet connection is intermittent. We also experienced short (like 20-30 mins) electricity outages almost everyday. Though it didn’t affect us and our experience much.

Lovely spot on the beach

What a wonderful place. The owners are absolute angels, they are very hospitable and accommodating, they go above and beyond to ensure everyone enjoys their stay and feels like home. The property is pretty new, it has all the necessary amenities and is conveniently located right on the beach and just minutes away from awesome restaurants, food spots and the city centre. It also has a nice view on the beach and they serve breakfast on the rooftop which is really cool too. Overall we highly recommend the place

If you are looking for peace and silence, you need to take intro consideration you are on the beach so you will hear at night the waves and occasional music from the bars.

Good location in front of the beach. Breakfast is included. Niran and his wife are very hospitality and can consider all the guest's preferences. The room is clean, housekeeping takes part 1 time in a 3 days.

Amazing property, epic views of the ocean, roof top breakfasts and general cleanliness of the rooms. Mr D, wife and kids are all welcoming and made the stay really pleasant.
