i enjoyed the the stay even if it e=was for one day it was good.

the breakfast was ok, but need to put more options, i would like to have more space around the tables. the location is fear and good to locate

the house and the option given to select was fits us. the house atmosphere that we could be in as group that was very good i will love to be there again if time permits

Decent facilites, horrible host

The facilities was adequate and located close to Spar (the most convenient place to do your basic shopping).

Of our more than 7000 km trip through Namibia, Huis Klipdrift was by far our worst experience. The host Lukas was extremely rude. When enquiring about when our laundry will be back from the cleaners (we needed to leave early the next morning and they confirmed that it will be back the same day), he indicated that he doesn't think it will be back in time. When I raised the seriousness of this issue, his blunt answer was, and I quote: "That is YOUR problem." Thanks to a dedicated worker on the premises, we did in fact receive our laundry in time, but then Lukas wanted us to pay additional for the laundry service even though the full amount was settled at check-in. Later that evening we found a very unapologetic letter with the additional money he made us pay in an envelope at our door. But instead of taking responsibility for his mistake and rudeness, in the letter he went on to blame the same worker who went out of her way to help us. Maybe he forgot that I was standing in the same room when the worker tried to explain the facts to him, but instead of making an effort to listen to her, he would shout at and belittle her in front of me. That poor lady was sobbing when we found her a few minutes later outside the premises.

Our stay was not what we expected for the money we paid!

For 2 nights, it was reasonably comfortable.

We did not have breakfast. The location was reasonably central and close to restaurants. We liked the parking garage and the fact that our laundry could be done. We also liked the fact that wifi was available in our cottage all the time.

The living room settee was most uncomfortable - far too low and definitely not for anyone with back problems. The establishment does not have a bank card machine, so payments must be cash or EFT.

Value for money and very friendly hosts.

We had a great stay. The host couple is so friendly and welcoming - accompanied by an equally friendly dog. Really amazing people. The place is quiet, spacious, with it's own braai area and a small garden like space. It just took us a few minutes to walk to the beach. Namibias best fish restaurant is just a few steps away. All in all: the next time we come to Hentiesbaai we will book again.

Kilpdrift House all the way

A perfect spot centrally located in the town. Val and Lukas the owners are very welcoming. Lovely spot to rest and great for launching off to Skeleton Coast. Found it more better than starting and ending the journey in Swakopmund. Also, read their guide book provided in each room, some very useful info there.

Generally everything was brilliant, wifi wasn't great and make sure you bring cash to pay for the room. It's cash only, if that's not clear. Otherwise a great stay!

The fisherman place

The place is very quiet and the haus was big. The room with everything you need and kitchen as well. The car has its own park place.

Spacious apartment and good warm water for a shower. Kitchen well equipped.

Wifi basically non existing. Annoying if you announce on booking.com to have WiFi and if you are situated in a well connected area like Henties Bay. Dishes and kitchen in the apartment quite dirty.
