The staff was more or less nice.
The hotel is completely run down and needed a renovation years ago. The windows don't close right. The beds are not really comfortable. My ac didn't work properly. The room lacks any decoration what so ever. I would not stay here again. Also the elevator was broken. Not really any choices for breakfast.

Clean. No options at the restaurant but the food was good and cheap.
The receptionist wasn't very happy to talk at all. The elevator doesn't work and I got a 5th floor. Felt like no one wanted to be there...

I liked ayenda hotels before but this experience wasn't as good. Only wifi available was in the lobby and wasn't pointed out until after checkin.

I did not eat breakfast during my stay and the location was a bit sketchy at night but the property did a good job at securing the front doors at night making you feel a little more safe.
The water in the shower did not warm up at all. The television seemed to not work and the bedsheets were very thin as well as the bed.

The staff were incredible. So helpful after I unfortunately lost my phone.

The hotel was well located and it was easy to walk to places we needed to go. The room was clean and the floors were cleaned everyday. The staff were generally helpful.
The payment system was a mess. Even though I gave my credit card to booking.com, I got an email a week before saying they'd cancel my reservation if we didn't pay a deposit via their payment system. The system refused to accept any of my credit cards (non Colombian). We could have lost the booking last minute during a very high demand period if I didn't have a Colombian friend to make the payment for us. They also added the Colombian tax which foreigners aren't supposed to pay. The person I contacted via their help system said he fixed it but then I had to argue about this when we arrived to check in and then one more time as we were getting a taxi to go to the airport the last morning.
Also, the shower didn't have a shower head and my mention of this to staff was received with a shrug and it wasn't replaced during our stay. The beds were super hard too.
