Oceanfront cottage. Private beach and deck directly on Nantucket Sound with spectacular ocean views, . Swim, fish, boat, tan in your sandy back yard. Enjoy free use of our kayaks. Sleeps 2-3. Queen size bed. Sofa chair also opens up into another bed ideal for a child. Full bath, galley kitchen, AC, Cable TV, Internet, Wi-Fi, gas grill. Cottage is available by the week or by the month and weekends off-peak.

Activities a short stroll away include restaurants, icecream, playground beach, rental of water toys including kayaks, jet skis, para-sailing and race boat rides. This property is centrally located waterfront, address #51 south shore drive...enjoy your private beach or stroll down to shops, restaurants and public beaches along south shore drive. Mini golf, waterpark and Pirate Museum also nearby.

Stayed 5 days in Yarmouth by the water. Wasnt bad despite couple days of rain. Small space but cozy. Felt like if you went to bed you would wake up floating on the water was so close to the ocean.

Dawn the host was great and very helpful. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The location is amazing , you can hear the waves when you are inside the cottage, I didn’t need my sound machine at night to fall asleep to for ocean wave sounds, I got to hear the real ocean waves. I will be booking again for next summer.

This is my second time staying at this property and it continues to be a perfect little getaway. Came with my boyfriend for a quick escape. Love that my toes touch sand as soon as I open the front door. Truly a peaceful little spot. House is as described and nice and cozy. We slept with the windows opened and enjoyed the sound of the ocean. Loved the deck in the back with the Adirondack chairs. Hyannis port is a close 15 minute drive and has lots of restaurants and cute little shops. We also took the ferry from Hyannis to Martha Vineyard for the day. Perfect little escape to the cape!

We were looking for somewhere that was right on the beach and we could not have asked for a better location! We stayed a few days after visiting Nantucket and it was exactly what we were looking for! Literally on the beach. The home was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our time there!

Perfect for two. Loved having the ocean at our doorstep. The Murphy bed was sturdy and comfortable. The small kitchen area was likely not suitable for gourmet cooking, but could serve well for basic vacation meals (We ate all our meals out. ). Overall, the cabin was clean and neat and cozy. The early May weather was cool but pleasant. Some of our time was spent (with jackets on) sitting on the deck drinking morning coffee while watching the ocean and the few people who walked by. We also did some walking on the almost totally vacant beach. A very peaceful and restful stay. The owners were very accommodating and allowed us a late checkout. They stayed in contact with us via text throughout our stay and were quick to offer to remedy any problems (We had none).

There was an outdoor shower but no way to keep sand off your feet from shower through the sand then into the house. Dated. Needs updates. Had to watch where you walked in the sand on the water side. Someone with dog kept letting it do it’s business right in your pathway to the water. We kept removing it but got tired of inconsiderate people!

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in early September. The weather was hot and muggy, so we were grateful for the air conditioning. The cottage is tiny but it had everything we needed to cook meals. We found the murphy bed to be very comfortable and easy to open and close.

We had a very sweet time, we love and enjoy coming to the Cape every summer. This little cottage was very cozy and conveniently located next to the ocean. It is very small, the bed is a Murphy wall bed that you pull out. So for a couple or a single person is fine. I just feel like we paid way too much for the space. We loved and enjoyed the stay but we do feel it was a bit overpriced.

Everything went great with the reservation and listing was as described. Only complaints are that the bed was not comfortable and could really use better mattress. The teeny tiny shower also has a shower head that you can’t adjust making showering a challenge.

Had an absolutely wonderful week with my husband and 5yr old daughter! The beach location was *perfect* for exploring with a toddler. From swimming, to running on the beach, to kite flying and searching for fish/shells/crabs- it’s no wonder she didn’t want to leave! This cottage is very well maintained, and really shows the care that the owners put into it. Everything was exactly as described, and even better in person. And nothing is better than listening to the waves all night… Dawn was so responsive and great to work with. We really hope to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Dawn’s! The beach is amazing ! Wonderful to sleep to the waves lulling you. The kitchen was very well equipped to make meals and we thought the mattress was very comfortable. We walked the beach to The Skipper restaurant and had yummy seafood! Want to go back !

My wife and I have very sensitive backs, we had a difficult time with the mattress. We went to Job Lot and purchased an air mattress, which made our stay more comfortable. It was a little chilly but we found things to do nearby. All in all we had a very private stay at a lovely cottage!

Wanted a quick getaway with more privacy then a hotel can provide before the craziness of the Holiday season is upon us and we thought this cottage was perfect. It is literally right on the beach . Well maintained studio efficiency unit with fold down queen bed and rustic old Cape feel. Cottage is very close to all shops , restaurants, stores and activities. Only negative was the mattress needs to be upgraded , even with mattress topper it wasn't the most comfortable. Otherwise if looking for a smaller cottage

The location doesn't get better than this. You walk out the door and you are on the beach. The view from the front windows is right on the beach. It is a cozy space, but the location is well worth it. Dawn was very helpful with all the communication and instructions.

We originally booked 5 nights but stayed a 6th night because we were having so much fun. The owners were quick to respond with answers to our questions. We had fun with the kayaks. Neighbors were fun as well. Perfect place for a couple looking to get away! Clean and the pictures don't do it justice. Great location. Would be very happy to return

The property is the perfect size for a couple or maybe a couple and a baby. It was a wonderful getaway and the owners were great at being in communication and taking care of things. Not only was the house directly on the beach, but it also was close driving (1 mile ish) to different restaurants, shopping and activities.

The neat cottage is right on the beach. You will step onto the sand at the front door. We spent our entire time at the cottage, enjoying the convenience of the location. At night we sleep with the soothing sound of the waves. It’s heaven. The cottage is small but has everything except linens. It’s a perfect place for a couple or family with one young child.

We had a wonderful experience in our weekend getaway. The owners were friendly and communicative. The house was right on a beautful, quiet beach. In close proximity to entertainment, food, antique shops, and so much more. My favorite part of the experience was how amazing the decor was. So eclectic and comfortable. Yoga in the living room, surrounded by sliding glass, while the sun rises on the beach was everything I could ever ask for. I highly recommend you book this house asap!
