Perfect location and very quiet. The property was excellent and suited our needs.
Nothing. It was a great place to stay

We loved the location. The home was tucked away in a quiet no-exit street, handy to the city, but so secluded. NO traffic noise, no through traffic. It was perfect for relaxing after a busy day in the city. We slept really well. It's a proper home with a well-equipped full kitchen, spacious bathroom, comfortable beds, it suited us perfectly, we'd go back in a New York second.
There's nothing not to like. We loved staying here, it's our new favourite place to stay in Dunedin. I'm very glad we found it. My kids loved it too. They were able to spread out and use all the space, so much better than motel/hotel options.

The beds were comfortable. Easy to get keys.
It was old and dusty, some curtains (and nets) were not hung properly and looked like they needed replacing. The hall carpet was in a poor state and looked dirty. Even though there was loads of wall space there was no extractor fan over the hob and the windows quickly steamed up when we made pasta (lid on in our own big pasta pot), we had to open a number of windows and the ranch slider to clear the steam. There was a lot of visible dust on the heat pump and on light fittings and my dust allergy flared up. 2 mornings in a row some of my clothes which I left on a chair were damp.

Great communication from owner. Quiet neighborhood, spacious home, well equipped for cooking in. Comfortable beds. We very much enjoyed our stay and time in Dunedin.
The transition strips between toilet room and hall and bedroom and hall next to living area were missing. It’s a tripping hazard - minor but a good thing to fix.

Big, spacious house with a great shares lounge/kitchen area.
It was nice that the owner popped over to say hello but would have preferred that she wait for us to say come in before just knocking and entering. The bottom door was unlocked, some visitors might not have noticed, which is not great safety-wise.

nothing really, happy with our stay

The location was perfect for us, the house has a lovely open space living area is well equipped, clean and very comfortable.
Has a washing machine which was a bonus for us, as the weather turned cooler we made use of the heat pump and the wall panel heater in the hallway and this kept us comfortable.
We had the pleasure of meeting Tim he was a great host, we highly recommended this property.
Nothing not to like.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. It was based in a quiet neighbourhood which was great as it was nearing O week for the uni. The holiday house is very spacious and there’s ample room for up to 6 people. We cooked a lot in the kitchen to save on having to go out for every meal and it worked perfectly fine for us and our family of three.
The kitchen was stocked with all the basics you’d need to cook, and even had a rice cooker that we used daily.
If we did get cold, there were radiators in every room so we could turn that on. We mostly used the heat pump which seemed to warm up the entire house within minutes. The bed linen was clean, the clean towels were tucked neatly in the hallway closet and the bathroom was dust free. There was a closet before the garage stairway that had pegs and a clothesline so we could do our laundry and hang it up during the day when we were out and about which was super handy.
Every bedroom had a closet, a double bed, bedside tables and a dresser to put all your things away in. I found it a nice touch that there was a large power board plugged into every room near the bed so I could easily charge my phone and tablet within arms reach.
My dad liked that we could just park our car right in front of the house and enjoyed sitting on the sofa watching the telly. My super clean mum said the place was up to her standards and had even said she wished she could stay longer. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
There was no exhaust fan over the stove top, so we had to have the window in the kitchen open anytime we cooked as it got hot/foggy but it wasn’t a big problem. We just opened the front door for a while as well to let the steam of the cooking escape.

The owner was very lovely and accomodating. The house is clean and has all the essentials and more. We were very impressed with all the kitchen utensils and heat pump, panel heaters and the fire place was great! Will definitely book again.

The location was exceptionally quiet. Very easy to get to centre of city but soooo quiet! Wonderful spot.
Personal preference is carpet flooring, especially in winter in Dunedin. However having said that most of the flooring was brand new timber laminate and very nice.
