Magnifique séjour

Le personnel est incroyable, d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Nous avons apprécié tous les conseils qu'ils nous ont donné pour visiter. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux, varié et succulent. L'hôtel est très bien placé, le centre-ville est à 5-10 minutes à pied.

Incroyable par la qualité de son personnel

Nous retiendrons principalement et avant tout de notre séjour la qualité de l’accueil de l’ensemble de son personnel, des réceptionnistes au personnel du petit déjeuner en passant par la barmaid. Merci tout particulièrement aux 2 Giorgos et Michael avec qui nous avons beaucoup apprécié échanger. Toujours un petit mot gentil, beaucoup de disponibilité et de sourire. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous ! Merci d’avoir rendu notre séjour inoubliable

We had great experience with Menta City Boutique Hotel - we could find these everything what is to be expected from good hotel and ever more- thanks to great service team supporting us in each topić and creating especially welcoming atmosphere. Excellent breakfast with amazing view, best tips for traveling, nice walk to the old Town and harbor and much more!

Exceptional

An extra clean hotel with nice rooms, cozy decoration, swimming pool and very polite personel. BUT the best part is Mrs Gianna , the chef ! She absolutely adorable! Everything she makes is handmade and she is there every morning to welcome you and explain her everyday creations, which taste so good!! The breakfast is just amazing as well as Mrs Gianna !!! Totally satisfied by the whole staying experience !

Fantastic stay

Had a great time, hotel staff exceptionally friendly, always happy to help and give everything you ask for and even more. Rooms are clean and spacoius with large beds. Pool is a good size with plenty of beds available. I would highly reccomend this hotel.

Lovely stay in Rethymno

We really enjoyed the breakfast and the view from the 5th floor. The swimming pool area was also a big plus. The atmosphere was perfect for relaxing and cooling off from the intense heat. The staff was always there to help, really kind and always with a smile on their face. A special thanks to Michalis for all the info he gave out about what to visit and where to eat. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Menta and will surely come back when in Rethymno.

The only issue we had was with the pillows, which were too firm and gave me neck pain.

Superb

The hotel was tastefully decorated in the common spaces. A lovely bar and swimming pool (shame about the rain!). Both receptionists, George and Michael were hospitable and welcoming.

Great hotel with a dream of a Breakfast ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

comfortable super king bed, fantastic shower, staff were professional and friendly. Highlight was the tour of the breakfast offerings by the chef who showed us all her home cooking. She was proud to show what she had cooked and so she should be, you don’t get food like this in many places⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Highly recommended

Perfect! Modern, clean and large room. Superb breakfast served on the terrace with beautiful sea view. High-speed wifi. Hotel staff members very nice and helpful. Very good price.

Suitable for longer stay

The Guy during check-in was very talkative but in good meaning and also helpful. Hotel has a pool. Rooms are spacious and if you are located on higher floors you will have nice view over the city. Breakfast is very tasty and has variety of choice. They also serve home made cake and pies (salty and sweet). Old town is just 10-15 min walking from/to hotel.

There is kitchen in the room but no equipment for that. To find parking slot around the hotel might be challenge.

Super nice & helpful hotel employees, nearly like a family owned one. Hotel was modern, safe, clean hotel and not too far from the old town. It was about 15 min walk to the beach.

Loved staying here! The reception was incredibly friendly. They came outside to help us park right in front of the hotel, which made loading/unloading our car very easy. The pool and rooftop were amazing. It was in a great location, and we easily walked down the hill to dinner in the Old City and walked along the water by the old fort.

Great stay!

Relaxing and quiet place to stay for a city/sea break, with happy & helpful staff. Would recommend!

The room was great, nicely decorated and spacious with comfy furniture and a large balcony. We were offered an upgrade, free of charge upon our arrival. The breakfast was good without being spectacular, but the view from the rooftop cafe-bar was spectacular. The gym was quite well equipped and the pool was fine and clean.

We ordered a snack upon arrival and asked it to be delivered to our room, but it took 40 minutes to be brought when it didn't seem too busy at the bar. Another time, I was forgotten about while waiting to use the hammam. I didn't like not seeing prices for extra costs of facilities or food and drink available from the bar. I would suggest displaying these things clearly so the guests know and can budget accordingly.

Not worth it

Staff friendly, good coffee from the lobby bar

To begin with condition of the toilet: shower head was broken, ventilation cover was dangling and full of dust, mouldy corners, slippery shower, and more than once we found stained towel/sheet. (Even after replacements) We had 3 times house keeping throughout our stay, every time they didn’t bother to take away room serviced coffee/drink cups, leaving them piling behind after cleaning, empty toilet roll was not replaced, and left plastic bag in the bin without even putting it on. Some item that was told to be available but not, E.g kettle and laundry service bag (we asked the counter twice) Never mind the paid laundry service, DO NOT use it, ALL of our clothes shrank so much when we got them back. It’s constantly damp in the room, the ac is always kind of on and off, you don’t really know if it’s working. Lastly, the breakfast everyone is praising about, except homemade cake (sometimes left over) rest is below average and always the same.. unless you love cake for breakfast every day, you don’t have much options. What’s most irritating is, they allow smoking on the open window terrace; we ate with multiple persons smoking just beside us every morning. Pool was broken and emptied at some point, which we really don’t care anymore, I just can’t wait to move to the next hotel. I think it’s ridiculous to pay €710 for 5 nights with this mediocre standard. Worst experience we had on Crete, you can find better. You can read all about the good stuff in other reviews, certainly not from us.

Superb

Very nice boutique hotel, spacy, with a nice pool in a quiet part of the town. The room was big enough with nice loggia, kitchen equipment and sofa. very comfortable beds, nice design.

The room wasn´t cleaned on second day even when we pressed the electonical sign "make up", it didn´t work and it was necessary to ask for the cleaning of the room at the reception.
