La taille immense de la chambre et de la salle de douche, la TV, le frigo et l, évier, le ponton, l'espace extérieur aménagé pour chiller, le prêt des kayaks et paddle, le café à disposition, l'emplacement pour se garer

Le chemin d'accès mal indiqué, sans éclairage, le bruit des gens dans l'hôtel à côté, le frigo qui fuyait, la nécessité d'une voiture pour aller en ville

If the canalization would be better it could be a great place. For us it was stinky with perfect view

View and the lake were both amazing and canoeing included in the price is great

In the bathroom first day we had to take a shower in snorkelling masks because of awful smell. Dishes were not cleaned properly. Very strange for the normal price we were paying. Owner tried to help a bit and it got a better on next days - but still this generated lower opinion in general for our stay in Bacalar. If the canalization would be better it could be even 8 stars for us on the other hand.

Pasamos unos días increíbles, nos sentimos como en casa, la ubicación a orilla del lago es increíble. Sin duda volvería.

La ubicación es excepcional,las instalaciones muy completas con diferentes zonas para disfrutar, hay kayaks disponibles y hasta incluso una barbacoa. Muy tranquilo y cerca del centro en coche.

La cocina se podría mejorar .

Bon rapport qualité prix avec un accès direct à la lagune

Cadre magnifique en bordure de lagune. Possibilité d’utiliser des canoës ou des paddles gratuitement. Chambres spacieuses et confortables.

Bâtiment vieillissant, manque de vaisselle, pas d’eau chaude. Mauvaise odeur d’égout dans la salle de bain. Emplacement peu commode car loin à pied du centre de Bacalar (gare de bus, épiceries)

Il check -in inesistente, la camera molto datata e poco curata: al mio arrivo (dopo le 15.00) non era ancora pronta; una volta entrata, non c'era la carta igienica nè le chiavi, che ho dovuto appositamente chiedere

Merveilleux

Super endroit sur la lagune. On a profité des kayaks gratuits, de la piscine et de la lagune, des hamacs, etc. C’est vraiment un endroit reposant. On a regretté ne pas prendre plus de 2 nuits.

Bon hôtel pour une nuit de passage.

Hôtel en bord de lagune. Chambre spacieuse. Beau cadre.

Nombreux escaliers pour descendre à la lagune ; à réserver aux sportifs. Accueil très sommaire, hôte ne parlant pas anglais. Impression d'u hôtel un peu à l'abandon. Piscine non chauffée donc inutilisable. Hotel très décentré nécessitant absolument une voiture. Alentours et chemin d'accès assez sales.

It was very well located and had a very impressive spot on the lagoon.

The room was dirty and the kitchen appliances didn’t work.

Perfect villa at the lakeside

The villas are perfectly located right at the lake, with swimming pool, hamac, free coffee and water. The best : free kayaks to go for a tour, and jetskis upon agreement. The staff and owner were nice and helpful.

The shower has no pressure.

Paradise

I arrived at the most beautiful place I have personally seen, literally heaven and Sergio's service was so amazing and pampering that I stayed there for 2 nights and the truth is that I did not plan to return to Mexico but I have no doubt that I will return to this place

The place was not in the city center so I had to pay for a taxi when I wanted to get to the city but with the help of Sergio he made sure that I would collect taxis at the lowest prices in the area of 50 pesos in total thanks to the location there was the peace that I probably would not have found in the city center

Could be so much better

The setting on the lagoon is stunning and makes up for the other failings.The property itself is also very pretty and has a nice swimming pool for when the lagoon is too windy to swim

The rooms are very dated, shabby and dirty - especially the " kitchenette" area. The 'road' to the property as you come off the main road is not good to drive on (especially in a small hired car) and you risk damaging the undercarriage every time you pass - just some gravel in the pot holes would help. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, looking forward to spending some quiet time on the pontoon watching the sun go down- this is the picture that promotes the property. There are only a few apartments so we knew it was unlikely to be busy.But a group of roughly 15 adults and kids were having a barbeque and making use of the pontoon.I guess they were friends or family of the live in managers as they weren't staying at the property. Luckily we were staying 2 nights so had the chance to enjoy the pontoon the next day or we would have been very disappointed

Exceptional

The place is beautiful, clean, quiet, with a lot of green areas, all people from the hotel (Myrka her husband and Panchito) are very friendly and the pier on the lagune is my favourite, I definitely will come back.

Don’t Pay A Lot For This One ☝️

The kitchen was nice but must take a taxi into town for food

The 2nd story view is awful, definitely need to block that! Both bikes had deteriorated tires and not replaced, kayaks were missing handles and back supports

The bed was huge and being able to use kayaks and a swinging bench overlooking the lake for free was great.

We saw a cockroach emerge from our bed as we were leaving. The location is also very far. The hammocks are also mostly broken and the swings in the water are also not in good condition.

Good

It has lake front jetty. Kayaks and stand up board available free of charge. Price is very reasonable. Fridge in room. Smart TV (though I didn’t use it). Hot water is almost instant, which seems to be a problem of many accommodations (more expensive) in this town.

The room can be updated but most more important things we want were there. Mattresses were fine. Pillows are not good. Towels are old. Google map is not working well in this town and never can pinpoint the location even you know you’re nearby, you would still be spending time to find wherever you’re looking for. So there is a hotel signage on the main road (307), but you needs to go on this branched off rocky road to get to it.

Superb

This place is amazing, surrounded by a beautiful lake. it’s a bit far from the town, but it’s not a problem at all, 5 minutes driving.

I really didn’t like 1 thing - there is not only 2 dogs that mentioned above. but there is a poor Husky Gina, sitting 24/7 on a chain 2 meters long. Nobody walks her, nobody pet her, she was so happy every time I was coming to give her some attention. looking in her eyes you can see a deep depression of being so active breed and not being able to walk. this breed was born to run and pull the sled. if you are not happy with that and can’t handle her active nature - give her away to someone who will take care of her :( It was so hard to say goodbye to this poor soul.

Large bed. Spacious room with couch and kitchen. Direct access to lagoon. Friendly staff. Cute pets and peacocks. Parking available. Kayaks available. Aircon works and good WiFi.

Awesome property!

The property itself is beautiful! The garden and pool area are beautiful! The best part of it was the dock and kayaks they provide for the guests.

The bathroom didn't have warm water most of the time and it is far away from the center. Luckily, taxis were reasonable so it wasn't a problem.

Good

The room was spacious , clean, nice warm water and a small kitchen and fridge come very handy. Nice view of the lake. Has a beachfront.

The road reaching there could use some fixing 🙂
