Excellent location

Had a great rooftop. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a good rain shower in main area. Great location to see Central rome and the staff were very cheerful and helpful throughout the stay. Recommended.

Kleines, familiäres Hotel in optimaler Lage

Optimale Lage nahe der Piazza Venezia, also im historischen Zentrum, aber auch relativ nahe an Trastevere, was in etwa 30 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Ein kleines Hotel, kein anonymer riesiger Laden.

Es gibt wenig auszusetzen. Das Frühstück wird im Dachgeschoss eingenommen, auch die Bar ist hier gelegen. Wenn schönes Wetter ist spielt sich das im Freien auf der Dachterrasse ab, bei Regen muss man ein paar Meter durchs Freie in einen mit dicken Folien abgetrennten Bereich.

Perfect stay in Rome

We loved everything about the hotel! It was very comfortable, clean and in a great location. Rooftop bar was great for breakfast and evening drinks. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Location was amazing. Most of the attractions were 10-15 min walk from the hotel.

Would have loved for breakfast to start at 7 or 7.30am instead of 8am. But I found most places we visited had an 8am start for breakfast. Not really an issue just a preference especially if your body clock woke up at 4.30am.

Exceptional

Location was excellent, walking distance to many attractions. Breakfast and rooftop terrace was spectacular. Luca, the hotel manager, was incredibly warm and helpful. A bit noisy, but you are in the middle of a busy city, so to be expected.

Perfectly placed hotel for a short visit to Rome. Definitely recommend!

Great location and really friendly staff. My room was small but that was what I booked so no suprise there and it had everything I needed. I only went to the bar once but it had lovely views for a cool drink on a very warm evening. Really good value for money and got a nice deal on the price.

Location cannot be beat!

You absolutely cannot beat the location! Walking distance to anyplace, The staff are wonderful, go out of their way to help. Ariana is a total gem! The rooftop is an excellent place to end a long day and just relax - also a great place to start the day.

Wish there was more places to store you things, but maybe I pack too much?

Hotel Otivm is one of our new, favorite places to stay!

Highly recommend the Otivm Hotel! The location is excellent, within walking distance of nearly everything we wanted to explore and close to public transporation, with the Piazza Venezia stop for the hop on/hop off tour buses just down the street. It's central location made it easy to come and go as we pleased. The room was quiet, spacious, comfortable and clean, and hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our 3 night stay. We will definitely return on our next visit to Rome, the Otivm Hotel was fabulous!

The hotel is very nice, clean and has a beautiful rooftop lounge. I loved the shower but the bed was very hard...a mattress topper would go a long way! Also bring your own hair dryer the ones they provide are terrible and actually sucked my hair into the motor. Great hotel for the value!

very little storage in the bathroom for toiletries and the mattress was super firm, uncomfortably firm!

Location is what makes this worth the price.

Location is fantastic, the porch is definitely a nice addition. The bathroom is spacious.

Elevator is definitely one of the smallest I have ever seen. For the price paid, complimentary water should be a given. Almost no English channel Tv.

The staff was super helpful, the room and the hotel was very very good, we really felt like home! The location is also excellent and very central, you have a lot of things in a 10 minute radius. Perfect for couples with a nice romantic vibe.

A wonderful experience in Rome, I would stay here again.

We were upgraded from standard to a larger room and really appreciated the extra space as we were there for 5 nights. The room and bathroom were very nicely appointed, the bed was comfortable, housekeeping service twice a day was a treat. Thought we didn't need it often I appreciated the candies they left and fresh towels when needed.

I thought the choice of music playing on the roof deck (R&B latest hits) was not in keeping with the style of the hotel. Maybe others would enjoy it. We went one evening but the music stopped me from wanting to go again.

Decent hotel, but I'd explore alternatives next time.

Nice-sized room, quiet and secure.

The shower was doorless and located in the bedroom, not in the bathroom, and unless you were really careful (and placed a towel on the floor at the shower's opening), water would pour into the bedroom. That meant someone had to mop up the floor every time the shower was used. Perhaps the hotel's designer thought a doorless shower in the bedroom was "hip" but, in fact, it is annoying and impractical. Also, the elevator is tiny (3 people max) and it's unclear whether it's possible to take the stairs to the ground floor -- the signage indicates exiting the stairs at the ground floor will set off a fire alarm. So it seems there is no alternative to the elevator.
