Beautiful apartment in heart of Rome. Great view from window. Great rooms, lovely owner who WhatsApp'd info about Rome. Couldn't have been better.

Great location. Easy walk to Vatican and Pantheon. We even walked back from Colusseum.

Beautiful historic ceilings, antique furniture, well equipped kitchen and great location 5 minutes walking distance from the Vatican and the nearby scenic river. Being allowed to leave our luggage before check in time even though, as the host reminded us, this was a holiday home not a 24 hour hotel. A bottle of wine and snacks were presented by Fabio, the nice man who checked us in. Communication with host was prompt.
Prefacing this with the fact that we had been up for 30 hours (no sleep on plane) so the following delays probably wouldn’t have mattered as much if we hadn’t arrived exhausted. No one was there to let us in the building to drop off luggage even though we had an agreed upon time frame to do so. Being told someone would be there in 10 minutes but it turned into a 45 minute wait. Not being able to access the apartment until after the designated check in time of 3:30 pm (15:30) because cleaning was not finished. We were told to come back at 6pm but after pointing out that check in time was 3:30pm per our reservation, we were able to get in around 5 pm. The rest of the stay went smoothly.

The apartment was charming, spacious and in a great location for access to many sites of Rome. Perfect for our needs. Our host was very accomodating and assisted us with checking in quickly (and a bit earlier) after a very long flight and responded quickly to questions. He also provided us with some helpful tips on places to eat. We can’t recommend this beautiful apartment highly enough.
Nothing we didn’t like

Fabio is an excellent host. He communicated upon our arrival to Termini and met us at the apartment. The apartment is well equipped with everything needed. The apartment is clean, conveniently located within walking distance to loads of sites, loads of restaurants and coffee shops on the street, (Fabio texted many fabulous recommendations), access to the hop-on/hop-off bus on the corner. Walk out of the apartment and view Castel Sant'Angelo, the dome of St. Peter Basilica, and stroll along the Tiber. Upon our departure, Fabio met us, ensured a cab was available and bid us a safe journey. I would definitely recommend a stay.
A lovely apartment with all conveniences provided. The only thing missing would be a small comfortable seating area.

Everything was excellent, starting with location, which is very close to all important attractions of Rome. The host was very careful to our needs and reacted very promptly. You feel like living in an old castle, yet having all modern facilities.

Central location and easy access to main sites. Clean apartment and kitchen and bathroom high standards
No real view out of windows, but it was also practical as the weather was hot. We were two couples and only possibility to socialise in the apartment was at the dining table as the living room doubled up as a 2nd double bedroom

The owner/host met us at the apartment to give us an overview of the location and the apartment. We were given a key code to enter the main door and the apartment door. Fabio was great, he also gave us recommendations for local restaurants and the best way to navigate the many sites in Rome.
Overall, the apartment was excellent and vastly exceeded our expectations. The bed was a bit hard for my taste, but this is a personal preference. The apartment was fully outfitted with all necessary equipment (wash machine, full kitchen, TV in each room, hair dryer, etc.).

The location is perfect. Close to almost every tourist destination. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment was roomy and mostly comfortable. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and easy to get into contact with.
The shower was a bit small. The A/C wasn’t the best but at least it had one, and there is no seating other than the beds and the kitchen table.

Great location opposite of the Castel Sant'Angelo. Friendly host who allowed an early check-in and showed us how to make Italian coffee. Everything worth seeing is within walking distance.

Great period features, size, cleanliness, location, comfort
Had to wait 30 mins for keys on arrival but the main and really only negative was that despite stating luggage could be left it couldn’t and the owner didn’t get back to us to confirm either way when queried resulting in us having to pay to store our luggage in a secure bag drop half a mile away
