About this cabin rental
Peacefully situated on a hill surrounded by trees. Fully equipped cabin for a stress free vacation. Beautiful walks in the neighborhood with breathtaking views. Great deck with hot tub, grill and table for outdoor dining. Spiral staircase to a kid haven - twin beds with reading lights come with their own sock monkey! Reading nook with plenty of books and toys for kids to enjoy. New furnishings and wood burning fireplace make for a really cozy retreat. Bring a good book or borrow one of ours - you won't want to leave!

Beautiful area; about a 20 minute drive to Asheville. Communicate with owner was stellar. Comfortably fits 4, but would have loved a shower upstairs too (only a bathtub). Cleanliness and coming in like no one has stayed before is a priority for me - this place hit the mark and we would return. Kitchen area very roomy; fire pit and hot tub a plus!

Our stay at the cabin was just what we needed. The cabin is tucked away in the woods and feels very remote and peaceful but only 20 minutes to downtown Asheville. Unwinding and relaxing in a quiet cabin after a day of being a tourist was perfect. We had everything we needed for a home away from home long weekend. The host of this cabin is very thoughtful and prepared, from the detailed instructions we received before we arrived, to the accommodations and extras at the cabin. The next time I am in Asheville, I will book this cabin again!

If you see this property open for your date, BOOK IT! It’s adorable, so incredibly clean, peaceful, comfortable…. We loved it! (My husband & I plus 2 teenaged daughters.) The artwork and decorating are pretty and tasteful but also really eclectic and fun. So many amazing, thoughtful touches: books, extra pillow and blankets everywhere, plenty of reading lights in each room, stockpiles for things like trash bags, etc. It really did feel like a second home because it was so well-equipped. And—can’t stress this enough—immaculately clean. We’ve already recommended this sweet home to friends heading to the area. Thank you for sharing your home with us and for being such thoughtful hosts!

The upstairs was perfect for our 2 younger children and the downstairs was perfect for us in one room and our oldest in the other. The large windows were beautiful and the hot tub was really amazing. It is in a good location to get to Black Mountain and Asheville. Private area but not too secluded either.

Small but comfortable. The location is excellent in terms of peace and quiet. The owner has thought of almost everything you may need. Do bring your shampoo and maybe soap if you plan to stay more than a couple of days,

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hip Little Cabin! We had great fall weather and spent most of our mornings sitting around the fire pit and in the evenings sitting in the hot tub or on the deck. We played a few of the board games as there was alot to choose from and enjoyed home cooked meals in the kitchen which was stocked with all the tools and cookwear we needed.
The location was also perfect between Asheville & Black Mountain. Jen and Mike were quick to answer any questions we had! Can't wait to visit again, hopefully soon!

This property has a huge wooded lot. It was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. We even saw a bear about 50 meters up in the woods. Talk about getting close to nature; it was amazing!! My husband captured him on video.
The house was very clean and the beds were super comfy. The location was close to everything on our "to do" list.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief time at the Hip Little Cabin on the Hill and hope to be back to explore the area more. The cabin was perfect with a nice modern kitchen, comfortable beds and a hot tub that was enjoyed after a day of hiking off the Blue Ridge Highway. Hope to return here for another week in the not too distant future!

The cabin was clean, everything was in great working order, and we enjoyed our stay!
We even saw a bear 15 feet behind the fire pit walking in the woods. We consider that to be good luck.

Myself and two friends had the best time staying at this cabin. It was incredibly clean, well stocked with any needed items and located in the most beautiful little private neighborhood. The hot tub was an added bonus! We enjoyed exploring Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Black Mountain. This cabin was conveniently located near each of these areas. We would highly recommended staying here!

Fanstastical cabin in the woods turned into the coziest honeymoon getaway. Despite the rain, we had a great time exploring and playing games. The kitchen was fully stocked and the shower was comfortable. Loved the hot tub!! Excellent communication with hosts and exactly what we were looking for.

We stayed in this cute perfect little house for Labor Day Weekend with our 2 adult children for a wedding. After reading the reviews I had very high expectations and this home did not disappoint!
The owner has thought of every little detail and delivered each with style! The kitchen was equipped with everything you might need and the knives were nice and sharp(not always the case at a rental)
Everything is labeled with clear instructions and though the cabin is not huge, all spaces are used efficiently and with thought.
The seating was perfect for tv watching with the family and the picnic table was a great place to eat our meals. So peaceful! (And the grill worked great)
The location was perfect-we were close enough to Asheville but out far enough to have a peaceful mountain atmosphere.
Nice games dvds and books are shared if you have some down time.
I only wish we had longer than a weekend. We would have loved to use the fire pit and ping pong table but ran out of time.
Can’t wait to stay again!

Rented this property to spend a few quiet days in the Ashville area. Loved the property, very nicely appointed, plenty to do, complete kitchen, games, books and scenery. A perfect location, close to everything.
The process was seemless, price was very competitive and we enjoyed our stay immensly. It could be tough to get to in snowy weather because of hills leading to property. No matter, we will be back as 3 days isn't enough to begin to scratch the surface of all Asheville offers.

We had family stuff in both Black Mountain and Ashville.
This cute place was a perfect home base for days of hiking, tubing, and biking.
The hot tub is an added bonus!

Beautiful cabin and view with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. My kids really enjoyed the hot tub and hammock. They had way too much fun with the sock monkeys and toys. It was exciting to see a bear from a distance. Only 15-20 min drive to downtown and montreat where we hiked.

Amazing Oasis in the Mountains
This is by far one of the best rentals we have stayed in. No detail was overlooked. My husband is a chef so we usually overpack kitchen items but we barely had to use anything that we brought, he even complimented their kitchen knives. The property itself was so clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub looking out at the mountain view. We also loved having a fire pit. The basement game room was a fun touch and my son loved playing ping pong. We look forward to future visits here.

Love this cabin!
This was our second visit back to the cabin, and it was even better than the first (we didn’t think that was possible because we loved it the first time). The cabin had thoughtful updates and provided everything our family needed. Our girls loved playing horses in the hideout and sleeping in the loft. The location is really great; it’s just a short drive from all of the attractions and activities we had planned. We spent cozy nights watching a show or two on the comfy couch. We love this cabin!

Lovely cabin
Asheville is already an awesome place and this cabin made our trip that much better. All amenities were included with Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV, and games. The hot tub was clean and so nice after long days. We couldn’t have asked for anything better on our anniversary trip. We will definitely be back!!

They thought of everything!
This cabin is so comfortable and indeed “hip” but even more, it’s full of thoughtful touches, from excellent books and games to yoga mats to red cups for “alternative” games at the ping pong table. Loved it!

Perfect Short Getaway
This was an amazing property - it's exactly what we'd want to build for ourselves one day. Every detail is accounted for - and the craftsmanship, finish, and quality of the cabin is top shelf. No wasted space - but just the right amount. We are considering bringing some friends with us next time so we can use the firepit and gourmet kitchen...we really didn't get to take full advantage, but now that we've found this place we are planning to be back.
