Property was extraordinary, very beautifully located with a magnificant view on the ocean. Pubs were nearby incl. life music sessions. Ferry transfer to Inisbin (highly recmmended) was just 0.7 miles away. Very beautiful gardens, extremely comfortable house. My daughter got a special fan of the very productive chicken with resh eggs every morning. Kitchen was fully equiped. It was a perfect stay. Thank you very much.

Outstanding property in a great location! The house is magnificent and the views are even better. There is plenty of room for everyone and a short walk to town with plenty of pubs, food, and music. The owner offers fresh eggs from the chicken coop on site! Just perfect! Newman’s bar is a must see when the music starts after 9.

Tremendous
The perfect spot, wonderful views, very friendly local people, owner greeted us upon arrival, he's a super guy, everything was perfect for us. Though a bit off the beaten path it is surprisingly centrally located for a number of great things to do. We were three couples and a one and a half year old. The set-up was absolutely perfect, There are chickens that we gathered eggs from for breakfast and great walks from the front door. Restaurants, bars and entertainment in town were super. Beautiful vistas and the most memorable sunsets.

Atlantic View Lodge
The photos on VRBO do not do this place justice. It looks like a cozy little 2 bedroom American home in the photos. It is actually a spacious 4 bedroom plus lodge with sweeping views on the Atlantic from every public space and one of the bedrooms. It has a huge kitchen, 2 dining areas, 2 living room areas, 4 bath rooms, plenty of parking and free eggs every morning provided by Brian's chickens.
Cleggan is just a short walk down the road with a lovely harbor, 3 pubs and a nice take-out cafe. The full Irish breakfast is a must. Tell Angela we sent you. Allana is your host at the horse stable. We rode horses there twice which includes riding on the beach. A trip to Inishbofin is also a must. Rent a bike and explore. The double decker bus serves wonderful food in a one-of-a-kind atmosphere.
We would very much visit Cleggan and stay in this cottage again!
