Hard to beat.

The location, on the edge of the parte vieja and its plethora of pintxo bars and interesting sights, and at one end of the Playa de la Concha, is excellent. The pension is hard to beat.

The card keys often didn’t work but the friendly staff were always on hand to provide new ones, and a functioning real key was provided for first floor entry into the building.

Buena pensión para pasar unos días en San Sebastian

La ubicación del alojamiento es fantástica, está situado en el barrio de los bares y restaurantes, a 3 minutos de La Concha. La habitación tenía tele, caja fuerte, nevera, secador. Muy limpio todo. Cama cómoda.

Nos faltó A/C en la habitación porque hacía mucha calor, pero no era nada grave.

The best location to enjoy old town. When I need a paper cup to use in the room, the owner lady has kindly lent me a beautiful glass which must be for her home use. The bed and toilet were clean. The stay was more than expected.

Exceptional

The location was in the heart of the old town of San Sebastian, just a short walk to all the shops and eateries. The options were endless. Our host was amazing, very friendly, and helpful. we could not fault anything highly recommend this place to anyone who is planning to visit San Sebastian.

A lovely city and the Pension is in a great location with loads of really special restaurants and I would recommend it f

nice central location and a very nice, helpful host😃 good size double room with a good shower room. plenty of wardrobe space with an integral safe.

drove to sans Sebastián with a friend and found it very difficult to find the car park we were directed to. once parked we had further problems locating the Pension amid a freak storm and locals appeared not to know it. we sheltered and I found the entrance about 10 meters from us but a local bar worker did not know it🤔

Gorgeous double room with balcony especially for solo travellers. Spotlessly clean, beautifully managed, perfectly located.

It’s a slim shower cubicle which might not suit everyone.

The location and service of Pension Alameda makes your stay in Donostia-San Sebastian very enjoyable.

Pensión Alameda is strategically located. There is a bus and taxi stop right across the street. you can purchase good coffee in a pastelería downstairs. To get to the Zona Antigua, you just need to walk 1 block. One block away is also the The owner was kind and helpful. The price is worrh it.

Stayed here for San Sebastian Marathon

This place is less than a minute's walk away from the marathon start, eliminating any pre-race logistics stress. Just walk out 20-30mins (after having used your own toilet!) before your race for a warm-up, then go line up. Bathroom was a good size (more room to walk around in there than the bedroom).

No coffee available early morning, which was a bit annoying. Was in a small room with only one window for the room, looking into the internal atrium/lightwell which wasn't attractive...no space to walk around even though there was only a single bed in there.

Great location - can be very noisy at night, probably depending on room. We had a spacious room with a window to the lively square with restaurants and bars.

San Sebastián has become a tourist park, not real Spain and the parking was exorbitant.

The location is perfect with large clean room, and good quality for pension.

The beds were worn out and we both have suffered since. Like sleeping in canoes.

We had a magical long weekend in San Sebastian with perfect weather - sunny, not a cloud in the sky.

The location of the pension is perfect, just inside the old town, within a minutes walk of all the restaurants and bars. Our room had a lovely view over a square with a glimpse of the bay. Several terrasse cafes by the hotel front door where we had coffee and croissants for breakfast. Traditional building with modern lift installed within a charming old lift cage. Our hostess was welcoming and informative on a number of matters, such as recommending a restaurant that would be open mid-afternoon, and how to get a cheaper rate on our car-park.

No reservations at all about Pension Alameda. We had a largish room with a view of the sea so cannot express an opinion on the other smaller rooms with no view. But of course one does not go to San Sebastian to stay in one's hotel room!

Excellent room for the price, located steps from all the great food and very close to the path along the beach. Very quiet with soundproof and lightproof windows!
