The dining area has seating for 6, and the kitchen is fully equipped. This level also has a stacked washer/dryer, bedroom, and bathroom. The upper level has a bedroom, loft, and bathroom.

This freshly landscaped area is delightful by night, for stargazing, or by day for birdwatching. A variety of trees surrounding the open spaces attract a wide array of birds to impress the most devoted of birdwatchers. You'll feel inclined to sit in that spot for hours as any stress or tension gives way to pure bliss and relaxation.

AREA WIDE NOTICE: Lake Lure will undergo a drawdown from January 1st, 2025, through the first quarter of 2025(March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet have been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. For more information, click here. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. This will not affect the smaller lakes in the area, only Lake Lure itself.

Southwest nature and Chimney Rock view from the back covered deck was everchanging! Inside was very clean and comfortable, with all we needed. Good peaceful nights sleeping.

The cabin was beautiful and the views were gorgeous. The Riverbend neighborhood was wonderful with a private lake and picnic areas near the water. The location was fantastic with easy access to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. It’s the perfect cabin for a small group.
I would’ve given it five stars but the mattress in the bedroom downstairs was uncomfortable and may need to be replaced (or turned more frequently). The outdoor furniture near the fire pit and on the patio was pretty worn but we didn’t use it.

Everything was great. Location, price, clean, all the stuff in house...I'll coming back for sure!

The cabin is cozy and warm. I needed a weekend away from everything and it provided the perfect amount of solitude.

Amazing stay with Amazing Views
Amazing stay with Amazing views, if there is a drawback it would be the gravel road but even with the gravel honored to stay at this property

The cabin had a feeling of remoteness yet being close enough to the outside world. Good time had by all!

This was our third stay in this particular cabin. It is always spacious and clean, and the mountain views are absolutely gorgeous. This particular stay, we could not get wifi to work (though that was one of my search criteria). The people managing the property gave us the same code we found in the cabin, but none of us could get online to watch holiday movies or for my college student to turn in an assignment. The person seemed angry with us for asking and it was never resolved. We also couldn't get the cable/satellite TV to work, so we played old board games all weekend. It was still lovely and quiet, but I have two teens that were frustrated, and I searched and paid for amenities I could not use. I'd love to keep coming back if that can be resolved without someone making us feel like we are wrong for wanting what I pay hundreds of dollars to have.

The property did not meet our expectations-at all. We felt it was very sterile and not properly supplied compared to many owner operated properties we have stayed at before. As an example, our family was so excited to have a fire one evening. We saw that there was a lighter and some kindling left out to get us started so we went to the store to buy some fire wood and all of the supplies to make smores with our kids. When we came back, my husband set all the wood in the fireplace and we went to turn it on and the lighter that they had set out was completely empty!! The kids were SO disappointed and of course at this point it was too late and we were not going to drive all the way down the mountain again. We searched everywhere and couldn't find matches or anything else to light the fire. There is "just enough" supplies in the house to get by but no one has gone above and beyond to make it cozy. Also, we made pizza one night, a normal vacation thing to do I would think, and there was not even a pizza cutter in the kitchen. Probably our biggest complaint was the lack of communication from the cabin. There is NO WAY to communicate!! There is no landline, no cell phone service and no internet or wifi. Had there been an emergency with our children, I would have been terrified. Likewise, there is no way to call the property office to ask a question if you are in need of something. I think having a simple landline would be a very common sense and wise thing to do. There is also no information for anything to do in the area in terms of activities, restaurants or anything and because there is no way to communicate, you are basically left to fend for yourself or drive to a neighboring city to get a signal. Every place we have ever stayed usually has a binder with menus and activities to do in the area. It was very frustrating. We felt they just wanted our money and once they got it, they couldn't care less about our vacation. Also, several times we drove down to the office to ask questions or get advise and there was no one there. There wasn't even anyone there when we went to leave our key at the end of our stay. Very disappointing to say the least. The property is nice and the views are too but there are a few cabins very close by and since all of the leaves were off of the trees, it did not feel private at all. In fact, several times the dogs that the neighbors had were roaming on our area.

Skip the "managed" properties and find an owner operated one

My husband and I stayed in the Juve' cabin for 3 nights, and we really loved being there. In fact, we debated writing such a good review because we really don't want the place to book-up too much; we'd love to come back again sometime!
The cabin was lovely, new, well-stocked with kitchen tools/utensils, super-clean, and the best part was definitely the wood-burning fireplace. Having never been to Lake Lure before, I thought I'd want a place right on the lake, but I was wrong: go to the lake, have fun, and then come back up the mountain to the secluded cabin with AMAZING views of Chimney Rock/Rumbling Bald. Best sunsets ever!
We cooked meals in the kitchen (everything worked perfectly except the toaster), ate breakfast on the deck/balcony, grilled dinner out on the patio (they even provided some charcoal), explored Lake Lure and Chimney Rock during the daytime, and then so enjoyed the seclusion at night. There are two other cabins within view of this one, but they are not visible out any of the windows, so it felt extremely private. And though the gravel roads up the mountain were a bit washed-out, it still felt safe due to the "gated" community at the bottom of the hill.
We'll definitely plan to stay there again, and were extremely happy with out weekend. Two bedrooms but would sleep up to 6 (loft with 2 twin-size beds). *One little warning: the iron bed is VERY squeaky, so... be aware if privacy is desired. ;)

The description and photos were accurate. I looked at both very carefully before booking the home. We reserved the house online via the property manager website and it was quick and easy. I went through all of the documents and I'm glad I did because it told me to pack my own soap and toilet paper, etc. I liked having all the details right away. We did get a late check-out (there was a $ fee). If we were to buy a cabin in the mountains this is the type we would want. It's not fancy but it's very nice. It was clean. We liked the patio a lot. The yard is certainly not carefully landscaped but nothing was overgrown and it suited us just fine. We were looking for a house with a view and this one had it! We didn't do much in the area other than take long walks in the community (which is very quiet especially by the house) each day but we loved it! For the price, I would definitely stay again!

Have just arrived for a 6 day stay and so far not too happy. The location is nice, quiet, secluded and the view is wonderful. Well, after I cleaned the windows it was wonderful. The kitchen is nice and well stocked and is clean, except for those windows. However, the LR television remote didn't work but they will come to fix in the morning. The tv in the bedroom isn't even hooked up to dish so that means that means there is NO tv in the BR. Both TVA are antiquated; no excuse when flat screens are so cheap. Worst part is the only LR seating is an old couch that is already hurting my back. This cabin sleeps 6 but we sure can't all sit around the tv unless we use the kitchen table. No wifi, which is almost a given today but given the other outdated things we aren't surprised. I will give it a chance for 6 days and will either update this or write another review but right now I can barely eke out 2 stars.

In looking for a great weekend cabin retreat for me and my friends I wasn't sure what to expect. We had never been to Lake Lure before but I kept finding a lot of great cabins in the area. All of them were so expensive for just a short stay. So when I found this cabin I was skeptical. The price as so reasonable and the pictures looked pretty good. When we arrived we could not believe how much better the cabin was in person. It sits high atop the mountain in a gated community. I thought this would mean that it would lose the remote feeling but YOU DON'T! The advantage of community amenities without feeling like you're in a community. The cabin was spacious, there were plenty of kitchen gadgets to cook meals. It was located close enough to the grocery store that you didn't feel like you were going out of your way.The downfall is finding the cabin initially. The directions provided weren't entirely clear and its dirt/gravel roads so my GPS thought that I had gone off the grid! hahaWe will be back every year and our goal is to stay in this cabin. I am so happy with the price and what we got for the money spent. It was beautiful.
