Good location. The staff were friendly and the price was fairly decent.
The beds were too soft. There was also thumping music coming from a nearby club or pub. The facilities were just a bit tired.

I recently stayed at the Victoria Hotel in Dunedin for five days, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a long day
The continental breakfast offered a variety of options. The secure parking gave me peace of mind and allowed me to focus on the things I had to do without any worries. The hotel's location is ideal, an easy walkable to reach everything, including the Octagon.
Overall, my stay at the Victoria Hotel was nothing short of fantastic and made what was an expected high stress trip, so much more bearable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dunedin. Thank you, Victoria Hotel, for an unforgettable stay!

Location was excellent.
Very small lounge area and second bedroom for 4 adults. Plus 1 bathroom!
A next time visit would check configuration depending on number of party. It was comfortable, top location and price right.

Very friendly staff, great location! Gym is a great bonus!
24hrs reception is awesome when traveling with kids!
Clothes from the prior clients where left in the room

Location was very good, close to the bus hub, supermarkets, city centre. The room was a good size and the beds were SO comfortable. We loved having the kitchenette facility. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The only down side was some noise from the new hospital build, but this was only during the day so was not too much of a bother.

The central location was fantastic, close to shops and eateries. It was comfortable, and tidy and I didn't notice any road noise. Good parking for an additional free that was reasonable. The service was lovely. I would stay here again in the future for certain.
Everything was great however, the bed could do with an upgrade, it wasn't bad however, I have had nice stays elsewhere because of a more comfortable bed. Having said this, this was good value for money.

Walking distance to everything
Relentless loud drum and bass played on Friday night until 1am. Walked around the hotel and it appeared to be coming internally, told staff at front desk and it stopped until starting up again at 5am. Kitchen staff? No sports in the house bar, bit strange when they sponsor the Highlanders

The Bath was too small to use as a bath

The room was nice and cozy. Shower had good water pressure and room service was good. TV screen was a weird colour.
Parking - paid for parking but due to limited space onsite the overflow carpark is elsewhere and when driving past the overflow carpark it's easily accessed by the public although there are barriers. When you're renting a vehicle, cannot guarantee car safety and we always rushed back to the hotel early to ensure we had a chance to get parking on-site

Excellent location, Comfortable and spacious room and friendly staff.
The airport shuttle to Dunedin serves this location. If you are traveling to/from the airport to this hotel it helps to save a lot of money.

Quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast menu had many options and food was great. Location is very good for 7min walk up to the hospital and plenty of shops almost on the door step.
Our room had no air conditioning but at least a large stand alone fan was in the room. No free parking, cost is $15 a day.

The room is spacious. The hotel provides two king beds for us, parents with two teenagers.
It is next to a busy road and can be noisy during the night. There is no air-conditioner in the room, only one super noisy fan in the room. We didn't get much sleep during the night. It was too hot to keep windows closed.
