The property is amazing. It’s combined a caribbean style with something that for me, was like an oriental want. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly.
Nothing to say by this time.

location
I recently had the opportunity to stay in the Presidential Suite of this hotel, but unfortunately, my experience fell far below expectations. From the moment we entered the suite, we were greeted by a persistent, unpleasant moldy smell that permeated the entire space. It was not the luxury experience we had envisioned.
Upon notifying the hotel staff about the issue, we were offered an air purifier as a solution. While we appreciated their attempt to address the problem, the reality was that the air purifier required constant attention. We found ourselves changing the filters every 4-5 hours, draining our energy and time that should have been spent enjoying our vacation. This was not the experience we signed up for, especially considering the hefty price tag associated with the Presidential Suite.
It is disheartening to have to write such a negative review, as I have never encountered such a disappointing situation during my travels. Moldy smells and constant maintenance should not be part of a so called “luxury” stay, and it is particularly frustrating given the amount of money invested in this room.

the hotel was stunning but the staff made this place even better!
there was a cockroach in my room but the hotel was clean. this was probably more of a city issue than the hotel issue.

THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND THE BREAKFAST OFFERED LOTS OF OPTIONS.
THE WIFI WAS NOT RELIABLE. HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER WAS INTERMITTENT. MOST, IF NOT ALL, OF THE ROOMS ARE ON THE SECOND FLOOR BELOW THE ROOFTOP BAR AND POOL WHERE INCREDIBLY LOUD MUSIC PLAYS MOST OF THE DAY INTO THE NIGHT. EVEN WITH OUR WINDOWS AND SHUTTERS CLOSED THE NOISE WAS UNPLEASANT.
THE POOL IS VERY SMALL AND SHALLOW WHICH WAS NOT OBVIOUS IN THE PHOTO’S.

Full of charm, tastefully decorated
In the heart of Getsemani
Mixed experience with staff
VERY noisy, from the in house DJ to the street, in our room, it felt like we were sleeping in a nightclub. Not recommended if you want a quiet night sleep.
Moldy smell in the bathroom

The location was good and pretty central to all the happenings in Getsemani.
I booked a suite on this website and the description clearly says it's a duplex style suite, nothing else. I booked it mainly for this reason and I had meetings to do online so the duplex style fits me and my partner's needs. However, the hotel provided a single level suite and the reception was arguing that the suite is either duplex or single level. That was not in the description on my booking and it was quite difficult to make them understand.
It also gets loud at night because of the parties going on outside, so if you are a light sleeper, this hotel is not for you. Our hot water also is very intermittent. It would come on and off during our showers.

it was an amazing stay, the place is beautiful and in an amazing location.
the bad internet connection, the wooden bridges though nice are very slippery and not so functional. when I was leaving they didn’t help me with the luggage even though there were multiple workers nit doing anything.

Hotel is charming and well designed, staff is helpful, location is nice.
I had originally booked for two nights, and surprisingly I was charged just one day after booking, even though that was not indicated anywhere and it is not usual. Later I had to change my stay (I had booked the more expensive one to get flexibility) and reduce to one night due to business reasons, to my surprise I was charged again for another night. So I stayed one night and I was charged three nights. Days before arriving to the hotel I started asking for the reimbursement, and got poor answers. While at the hotel I complained again and asked for an answer, which did not come. Now I have spent hours talking over the phone phone with the hotel, with my bank, and sent several messages to booking. It seems that now it has been settled but it will take 15 days to get the money back.
Another thing: since I had an early flight, on the night before I had requested for an early take away breakfast which was nicely confirmed.
Unfortunately on the following morning it was not provided.
I have requested to talk over the phone with the manager but I was denied such contact.
All in all, very disappointed.
