Row Farm Cottage is spacious and well equipped, with comprehensive cooking facilities and a great shower and bathroom. Roy the dog is also a lovely bonus!
Only minor issues are that it is not very well signposted (there's no indication that it's an accommodation place on the main road, which has a similarly named farm nearby), and you have to walk through the main bedroom to access the second bedroom so it wouldn't suit two couples..The beds are also starting to show their age.

Great Location, friendly hosts, good facilities for a comfortable break.
Nothing to fault

The farm was cosy and the atmosphere was great. I am excited for this experience. The kitchen had all appliances even chemicals for cleaning. The most comfortable beds. Great location, many visiting places around the farm.

Very nice,clean cottage
The stairs quite steep and bare wood, not suitable for elderly or physically infirm, gravel track to access cottage very bumpy , location is out of the way

Lovely surroundings, peaceful and quiet, just sounds of farm animals that added to the charm of the place, the cottage was very cosy and comfortable, well equipped, we had a great stay

The surroundings and quietness
The property has everything you need but could use some updating throughout, especially in terms of soundproofing, as we could clearly hear noises from next door and the sorrounding farm.
Although the property shows as pet friendly, to our surprise we were told that our dog was not allowed in the bedrooms - this caused the need for one of us to sleep on the sofa with the dog on both nights, as they were agitated with new noises, sorroundings, etc. and they could not settle down wihtout being close to us.
The stairs to get to the bedrooms are quite steep. Also, the bedrooms are not separate - you have one bedroom at the top of the stairs, which is more like a big upstairs hall, and you have to go through this bedroom to get to the second one at the back.

The location was amazing… a beautiful hideaway in the countryside of Lake District between sheep. The cottage was great, very cozy and perfect for a family with dog. Our dog Luna fell in love with the house dog - and think he was in love too! A really sweet creature! Great talking to Stephen our super friendly host. When we asked if we could stay a night longer there was no problem at all. The kitchen was fully equipped, beds perfect and shower also great. There were even special dog towels! The WiFi worked perfect (very important for our son haha) We will definitely come back!!

Friendly hosts.
Bed at the end of its life. Inability to turn heating on or off. Pots and pans beyond their life, food sticking while cooking. Poor lighting, property very dark. No smart TV.

The loation was far, I didn't realise how far it was. But my husband and my mum enjoyed it very much and the host was great! But you had to travel a long way to get to places! We came to celebrate a double celebration so it was perfect, I couldn't ask for any thing better.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Quaint cottage with
a charismatic host who offered great suggestions
of places to visit for our 4 year old. Lovely little brook at the bottom of
the garden. We wanted a quiet spot to stay at and
got what we wanted. Thank you Stephen and Marilyn x

Tranquility. If you want to have a quiet and rest this is the place to be.
The sign could've been better. Finding the cottage was challenging.

Rustic and charming, lovely location.
A bit more information on what to do on arrival would be helpful, we knew the keys would be in the door so that was fine but we were a bit thrown by the closed gates and weren’t 100% sure we were in the right place when we arrived.

The position of accommodation was good. But be aware of the steep clime double bend to the property WiFi is a good strength
The shower needs a bit of a attention.the shower curtain needs replacing and the shower hose also needs replacing

the property is in a rural area and got to walk out onto a working farm with sheep. inside it’s open plan with everything you need inside it to make your stay feel like home
the wife doesn’t like spiders which you can’t help I know but the amount of cobwebs could be reduced also the upstairs is very noisy when moving around and getting in and out of bed we didn’t want to disturb you so kept the moment to a minimal

The cottage is attached to the farm and Stephen met us and showed us the property. He was really friendly and chatty and explained how to get to places and where to visit etc We spent a few days there and did some lovely walks. Pub close by though best to have a car as not easy to walk to places. Cottage had all necessary facilities and was really cosy
This is not complaint as I didnt realise on the booking and it wasnt an issue but there are 2 bedrooms, one with double and one with 2 single beds - you do have to go through the double room to get to the one with singles. We were all friends so not a problem but could be privacy issues for some.
4.5
very clean, warm and comfortable
gravel drive hard to navigate but most probably due to weather conditions
