The Aqua Terra cave houses are the most beautiful place to stay!

The location is fantastic. The cave houses are so comfortable to stay in during your trip to Santorini. Everything that you need for your entire stay. Host were fabulous. They helped with all transfers and activities confirmations. They provided a fabulous breakfast each morning. I would highly recommend staying here.

A Splurge, but the host made the stay tbe very best.

The location in Oia was great.

As an old city with many tourists parking a (necessary) hire car was challenging. Not the fault of the property but an annoyance nevertheless.

The location could not have been more perfect. You are close to the bus station, mini market, main square, sunset locations, and are not too far a walk down from the top. The view is also spectacular! If you’re looking for a photographic place to stay…this is it. George and Artemis were wonderful. Very attentive and helpful with anything we needed including booking our sunset cruise. We couldn’t fault anything. We were a party of 4 (2 couples - my husband and I, and my parents) and the accommodation allowed us to have shared facilities from one room (in my which my parents stayed) and we had a separate, lockable bedroom with ensuite facilities.

The only thing we came across was that we would run out of hot water in our room when my parents were using the shower in their room. Not a huge issue once we managed that better. The weather was still hot in September too.

Aqua Terra surpassed our expectations. We had a magical stay!

The breakfast was huge, delicious, and was delivered to our room. There was enough bread left over for us to have for a later meal. Artemis is totally amazing! She helped me every step of the way. She helped me with reservations at Aqua Terra and also booked transport to/from the lodging. She set up the airport pickup and drop-offs. She set up an excursion for us and helped us when we needed to make changes. The cave rooms are such a great experience! It was so neat to be in the bedroom deep into the cave where it was dark and quiet. I don't think I'd want to stay anyplace other than in a cave dwelling. The views from our place were fabulous--gorgeous sea views, islands, white buildings, and blue-topped churches. We walked to a nearby pastry shop every night for dessert. The location of the lodging was exceptional; we were close to everything. It was easy to get picked up for excursions, and we took the bus one day. Artemis met us as we arrived from the airport. She walked the short distance to the drop-off place to welcome us and then walked us to our dwelling where she explained accommodation details. She made recommendations for restaurants in Oia and Fira. I can't imagine having a more gracious, enthusiastic host. I have already recommended Aqua Terra to my friends. We feel so very fortunate to have found such a gem of a location!

Beautiful views and comfy apartment!

The location was amazing! Beautiful views and a great terrace from which to enjoy them. We also enjoyed the pool in the morning. Plus just a few steps up from the apartment was the main road in Oia, so it was a great base for exploring the city! The apartment itself was very comfortable, and there was a window looking out onto the caldera from the bedroom.

The pool was not very warm—it was listed as a heated pool, but the temperature felt to be about 85 F/29 C, even at the max heating. It was great during the day, but too cold in the evening.

Conveniently located in Oia with excellent view to caldera and southern part of the Santorini Island. Well maintained property and jacuzzi located superbly to enjoy the surrounding view. owners are very helpful and arranged my taxi to airport and help with the baggage from and to vehicle.

Absolutely perfect!

The location is absolutely perfect, while you are close to everything you also felt like you had your own private little oasis. The property was very clean and comfortable but stand out feature is the owner/staff. You’re not going to find anybody who is more helpful or knowledgeable than Artemis. She was always quick to respond, had great suggestions, arranged excellent activities and was very warm and welcoming. Everyone we interacted with at Aqua Terra was so helpful and kind. There are many beautiful properties in Santorini but I think it would be hard to find people who are more willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you stay is perfect than this group.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

The perfect place to stay in Oia!

The location was unparalleled - impossible to beat in Oia! The view was spectacular too. The breakfast was fresh and delivered every morning, with excellent food and a wide range of options. Artemis, our host, was incredibly helpful and absolutely lovely.

We loved everything. If we were to be a bit picky, the hot tub was a bit tucked away and the view from there was masked by the terrace occupied by the other guests. However, we had our own terrace upstairs, which was not in the sun in the morning - it was just a bit weird to go up and down all day, but that's due to the historical setting of the property. These are all very minor issues, everything was overall amazing.

unbelievable spot to spend your time.

the views and location are unbeatable. the plunge pool is perfect size for a quick dip and the terrace was massive. the hosts could not have been better and easily arranged everything for us from transfers to activities.

the only unfortunate part is that the terrace is directly below a popular photo spot, so through the day there are the sounds of photographers saying “1..2…3 ..smile” however this is fairly unavoidable in all of Oia as it is so picturesque

Centre of Oia with caldera view and amazing host !!!

It's a individual house ( like Airbnb) attached to one more adjacent house. Host is super responsive and assisted with luggage during check in and check out. It's in the center of all attractions and restaurants. Bus/Taxi Station is 5 mins walk and not that steep as there are other places which are far steeper. Restaurants are steps away. The one bed room is comfortable with all amenities included - coffee, kitchen and iron box.

Pictures were a bit deceiving specific to hot tubs and outdoor seating area. While we liked the host and location very much, we were a bit disappointed that our hot tub is next to the other room's hot tub which means less privacy. Our seating area to view the entire caldera is upstairs separate from hot tub location. May be we did not read the description well but something to watch for.

The view was unbelievable, the property is well kept by the staff and the host is Artemis is wonderful and very attentive to all your needs.

unfortunately the weather was not great, super windy so we didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub and outdoor seating area as much as we wanted to.

The staff are amazing, we were in honeymoon and it was my wife's birthday.. the owner prepared cake , flowers with no charge.. she was very kind! The location and view were magnificent, the traditional cave & its jacuzzi pool was a very unique experience with decent privacy.

This villa is amazing! So well located, the views of the caldera and the white cave villas are breath taking. We were 3 adults and 2 kids and sleep very comfortable in their 2 bedroom villa. We took great pictures here! We will definitely come back and bring more friends and family!

Overall Location was great, NO PRIVACY

Location was great!

We stayed for 3 nights at $800 per night. It was a splurge for us and expected much more 1) Stayed in Loft 2 bedroom house. Advertised as private Balcony and bathtub however absolutely no privacy at all. The bathtubs are next to each other with some chairs in between$800 per night. You can never be alone in your Balcony. 2) Breakfast was soggy, cold, everday to be ordered one night before. French-toast and some eggs prep. French toast advertised as with fruits and syrup, came completely dry, no syrup no fruits cream nothing! my daughter was very disappointed. One day when I ordered the host misunderstood and thought I was ordering extra breakfast instead of 4 ( allowed 1 item per person). The response I got was so insulting "I told you only one Breakfast per person with an angry smiley) absolutely won't expect from a place charging 800 per night" 3) It is very hot all the time. AC was only in one room, did not cool the room much. The kids loft bed/living room area had no AC, cannot sit there. She did provide extra pedestal fan on request but was very uncomfortable
