The location was too far from Roseau and the Airport. And it had no pool. We ate from the establishment outside.
The television please install it in the rooms and put in a pool.

Location
Rooms were awful you couldn't even call it student accommodation

The location was absolutely wonderful - what a beautiful, peaceful view to wake up to in the morning. The staff were all friendly and as helpful as they could be. The grounds were very well-kept and it was lovely to see the many fruit trees.
We really didn't sleep much, unfortunately. The beds were highly uncomfortable and we had many issues with the a/c units and the refrigerators in the room (some of our food spoiled because they weren't working). The staff did their best to try to help but in the end, we still went without specific amenities. I wanted to really love this place (I've stayed in the beachside cottages before and had a better experience), but those basic necessities did cause discomfort. I suppose you get what you pay for here; lovely location, great on the budget, but not the highest in comforts.

I stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean 🌊 and went to sleep each night with the rushing sounds of the waves...It was a dream come true!
I enjoyed sitting on the plastic adjustable lounge beach chair, observing the ocean's ripples and waves, and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the island 🏝️
The staff were friendly, helpful with information on places to visit on the island, and very respectful.
I would have liked to eat at the hotel's restaurant but it was not functioning at the time. I sourced for food (very tasty food from Green Light Restaurant) in the town centre.

The location was amazing couldn't fault it and the onsite restaurant was great. The restaurant was Good value for money and right on the beach .very romantic. The reception staff were so helpful as my case was lost for 2 days. All the staff were really polite.
The bed in the room was very comfortable. Facilities absolutely poor.we had a fridge microwave 2 glasses and that was it .no tea making Facilities or plates etc.what is the point of a microwave? We asked for a kettle which we got and was told the room we booked came without a kettle. We also had to buy 2 mugs and borrow a spoon. The room was so basic we couldn't make a coffee after travelling for 15 hours.very disappointed. Definitely not worth the money we paid I think it was 1200 $ American at that. Its only saving grace was the location. That was excellent. And no I wouldn't stay there again. Sorry.

Location and staff were very good .The beach is close and convenient. Area is always neat and tidy
The cottages need to be sealed more tightly to prevent small animals and insects from entering the building

A quiet place to stay with a public beach

Cottages were comfortable and nicely situated close to the beach.
The staff were friendly and tried to assist.
The hotel did move me to a more accessible room when I was on crutches week 2.
There were 2 large dogs running free around the complex.. as I was on crutches they caused a problem.

tired, worn out furniture, inattentive staff, overpriced, staff asleep, garden unkempt

the location is amazing, very nice beach. bring your snorkel gear cause there are lots of fish! The sea is literally 5 steps away!
The restaurant has delicious meals, though the portions are small and somewhat expensive.
we didn’t have soap in the room.
The portion sizes in the restaurant were too small.

Nice place near beach with all necessities . lovely staff, good value for money .
Un organised car park no space kept at the end for vehicle to turn around . our driver has to reverse vehicle all the way back to main road more than 900m.

the location is good. right on the Beach and close to a couple of nice bars like Infinity and Nicks bar just along the beach. air con worked
Very dilapidated and looks like a 1960’s concentration camp. Wi-Fi sketchy and the staff in the bar really don’t want you there (when there are staff and not a 10 year old child serving). no facilities to speak of, bar furniture broken, bar closed 22:30 on New Years Eve as the staff wanted to leave (other evenings it didn’t open) dangerous wiring, virtually no plumbing apart from a trickle of a shower, no TV, etc, etc

The hotel is also connected to the Picard Beach cottages, which is the room they upgraded me to. I cannot recommend staying there more.
But either one is waterfront and tucked away in a quiet area of Portsmouth.
The black sand beach, a few steps away, is lovely for walking and there’s a reef out there for snorkeling. The water is placid and a perfect temperature. you can walk (or run) the whole length. It’s a little more than a mile end to end (with some rocky areas).
The staff was wonderful, they helped me book tours and taxis and they were generally warm and I was grateful for that. They booked me a tour on the Indian river and I got picked up at the dock out front!
The restaurant was great! I was really hungry my last night and they made me a delicious meal. the red bean soup, oh my god, that was heavenly.
Also, the sunsets there are stunning (really, some of the best since it’s wide open. Look for a green flash just before the sun disappears!
Cannot recommend more.
I couldn’t figure out the shower at first.
