We have just returned from a week in L'Escale. W
e were two families of four. We loved everything about the hotel. The staff were lovely and the food superb. Highly recommend. When the lift closes and the slopes go quiet it's magical.
The hot tub could have been cleaner.

The location of l'Escale is exceptional at the top of mountain. Getting there was a bit of a hassle between offloading the car at the gondola, getting onto the gondola and then parking the car further down in town. Once settled, we had a great time, staff incredibly friendly and supportive. Food was generally very good with huge portions. It was very nice, when the weather was good, to be able to sit on the terrace past gondola closure time, enjoying the view.
The facilities and space at the bottom of the hotel (restaurant, ski room, check-in) are a bit cramped and can be chaotic at key moments in the day. Missed a fireplace!

The location was stunning, wonderful views everywhere you look. Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. The food was superb every day, we really looked forward to our evening meal each night. All this and it was great value for money. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing ski holiday.

The food was amazing, three course meal everyday. The rooms were rather small and the bathrooms would need some redoing, not match the photos very well.
