Großes Zimmer und zusätzlicher Aufenthaltsraum, gutes Frühstück
Etwas weit von Downtown, hellhörig, Zimmersafe sehr klein und umständlich.

Absolutely loved our stay here all of the staff were so welcoming and friendly ! What a beautiful location and views were amazing
stayed in the cottage which was well equipped and comfortable for 4 people both rooms were spacious with en-suite ! beautiful pool
area to relax and right next to Rickety bridge which is one of the favourite vin yards ! ideal location just far enough from the hustle and bustle of town but still easily accessible with a few min drive complimentary wine tasting too beautiful breakfast nothing too much trouble !

Our stay at this hotel in Franschhoek was highlighted by the complimentary wine tasting at Rickety Bridge, a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for a memorable visit. The service was exceptionally attentive, with the convenience of being able to contact them anytime via WhatsApp.Nestled in the picturesque surrounds of a renocated farm, the ambiance was charming.
The sound insulation could be better. We encountered a minor hiccup with a hidden cricket in the room affecting sleep quality. Despite efforts to locate and resolve the issue, it remained elusive. Additionally, the Wi-Fi signal was not robust

Basse Provence is not just a place to sleep but rather a place to enjoy. As it is located on a beautiful winery: Rickety Bridge also including a restaurant. Especially the staff is very welcoming and no wishes remain unfulfilled.

So beautiful and cute cottage vibe, and so cosy!

The grounds are beautiful and it’s close to town.
The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were scratchy. They used a chemical to mop the floors that made your nose burn. No one in our guest house could stand the smell. There were bright lights outside of both the windows in our room that illuminated our entire room at night. The remote control for the gate didn’t work when we came back the first night at 9:30pm. It really wasn’t a pleasant stay.

Proximity to the wine tasting
The room itself is nice
Gas ran out of the fireplace.

The room was nice and warm considering that it was freezing cold outside. The bathtub is amazing. Breakfast options are nice and staff very friendly. Close to travel to all the wine farms.
The bedside lamp didn't work on the one side of the bed but there was more than enough other lights in the room.

Great last minute booking. We received a warm welcome and had lovely breakfasts outside every day looking across the mountains. The surrounding area is stunning.
We thought we could get taxis easily from the property into town but found them hard to come by as we were too far to walk but not far enough for a taxi to take the trip. We had a car which we needed for evening dinners.
The swimming pool area needs updating as it's a stunning location and would be a lovely place to relax.

Very comfortable room, lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Second time staying here and would stay again.
Low water pressure occasionally but not really a problem.

the property is nice and with great potential, unfortunately not well maintained. The staff was great, welcoming and efficient.
the bathroom inside the room doesn’t have a ceiling/roof and we had to stay the whole time with a awful smell coming from the wc pipes. Breakfast is a la cart and didn’t seem to have fresh stuff compared to other places we have been.

We had a basic loft room . Very clean everything we needed .Breakfast was good . The staff were lovely and helpful . 5 minute drive to Franschhoek or R50 Uber or 40 minute walk.

Amazing location and staff
The nice rooms had a lot of dust (on the fan for example)

This was a splendid find, quiet location, about 5 minutes out of Franschhoek, very comfortable accommodation, great scenery, and the staff were fabulous - 11/10 for looking after us. Plus a fantastic breakfast in the garden - wonderful. Thank you Tanya and Janine and the rest of the team for making our stay so enjoyable
No complaints but maybe spruce up the furniture in the living room of the guest cottage? Bedrooms were first class
