We stayed at In Camera for our first 2 nights of our trip to Rhodes. Once again we felt so welcomed at the In Camera hotel. We were so happy to see our dear friends we made last year.
Continue like this. We will be back. Change nothing

We stayed in "Views of Rhodes" room for 4 nights in October - dropped at one of the gates - by taxi driver - into Rhodes Town and then picked up by the hotel - interesting ride through the narrow streets - warm reception - room met our needs and was very comfortable with own secure entrance - location could not have been better - at least 4 very good restaurants a very short walk away - again a short walk into Rhodes Town and all the sites and shops but far enough away that we were weren't overrun with day visitors from the cruise ships and other resorts on the Island - very quiet at night - breakfast very good - had some of the best cooked omelettes with various fillings - breakfast taken outside with views over the rooftops - again on departure we had an easy 5 -10 minute walk downhill with wheeled bags to the taxi rank just beyond another of the gates overlooking the Cruise Ship harbour - we would return
The weather - we had a storm warning - rain and thunder for one day

Really beautiful boutique hotel in the old city of Rhodos. Very close to the center with all the shops, restaurants and the action but still quiet. The room was very beautiful with a nice bed. A private yard with a jacuzzi was the gem of the stay. The breakfast is very good with slightly different offerings everyday.

There was nothing we did not like.

Excellent location in the old town, nice building tastefully furnished room, excellent power shower facility, very clean inside and outside, we have really enjoyed the hot tub and the tasty breakfast. Very attentive and kind kitchen staff, and last but not least M. the front office manager was very kind and helpful.
The hotel was advertised as having soundproof rooms. - Not it’s not soundproofed but in fact, our suite was exceptionally noisy.
Perhaps it was down to the acoustics of the beautiful arched ceiling in the room but even behind closed doors/windows, we have founded very difficult to sleep in the “View of Rhodes” room.
For eg.:
- There are 3 busy restaurants right opposite of the hotel, with music and one of them with live music until very late.
- heard a young child playing with piano above us at random times,
- the massive (though beautiful) iron gate right next to our window was banged hard several times (early) in the mornings and late at evenings too, when guest were coming/going from/to the above suite.
Also we have founded the bed (mattress topper) lumpy therefore quite uncomfortable.
Our last night was totally spoiled by a unbearable paint smell coming from next door, due to room refurbishment. I guess, it was nobody’s direct fault but it had put quite a lot of unforeseen impact on our anyway heavily fragmented night sleep experiences.

I traveled for business purposes later this season in Rhodes and discovered this gem in Tripadvisor, so I couldn't reset on booking my short stay at In Camera. We will definitely come back in mid season to discover more about Rhodes and enjoy the Jacuzzi under the hot sun.
all good

We stayed at In Camera as a short stop after our long trip in the mainland of Greece. We enjoyed the small narrow streets of the Medieval City of Rhodes and the visit at the Castle was a one of a kind exp. The staff was amazing and help us from the beggining (giving us all info we needed) till the end of our stay (helping us with our bags with the hotel's untill our car). We will be back for sure!!

Everything was perfect. Even though we stayed for just 1 night we felt like home. From the warm welcome at the reception to the exeptional breakfast on the terrace with the view to the Grands Master Palace. We will be back to stay more nights!
Not bad things to mention.

The staff at the hotel were excellent. Thank you Camera Art Boutique for a lovely stay. This was our second stay in the lovely rooms, we’ve now stayed in three different rooms, each one so interesting. Great location in Rhodes Old Town. Spotlessly clean thanks to the excellent cleaning team, and very good breakfasts thanks to Vasos. Marios really helped us with organising tests before our flight home, and arranged our taxis to and from airport and ferry, thanks Marios!

We stayed here for 3 nights after a long stay in a villa soth of Rhodes and will stay again when we come back from Symi. This boutique hotel is a gem! We stayed in Temple of Apollo suite which makes you feel you are living inside a temple. What a perfect name for the suite! The staff made us feel like home by giving a warm welcome and aswering all of our questions about Rhodes city. We give a 5 start to the breakfast. Do not forget to try Vaso's omelettes!! We will be back to give another 10/10. Well deserved.

Excellent, quite location in the middle of medieval Rhodos town; private transfer from the airport directly to the hotel (normally there are only a few cars allowed to drive into the old town); very friendly welcome; the front office & reservation manager helps you for whatever you need; stylish furnishings; affectionately arranged, rich breakfast buffet; marvelous service; we come back!

This hotel was the best! We had a medical emergency and they were extremely helpful and kind, let us keep the room after check-out so we could leave the dog behind while we were in the hospital, helped with transport and were just fantastic overall. The hotel is lovely, with a beautiful view and in the old town, and the breakfast was delicious and healthy with lots of goodies to put on your yoghurt and fresh juices. Nicely furnished and clean room with great airco :-) would recommend this anytime!

The property is beautifully and very tastefully restored. The rooms are decorated very nicely and are very spacious. The garden with the view across the old town was stunning and the bed was the most comfortable bed we've had the pleasure of sleeping in anywhere in Greece. Marios was very efficient and helpful, allowing us to check in early, providing information about the area and printing out all of our very many covid travel related documents. The breakfast was very plentiful and delicious and the lady at breakfast was very friendly, always checking if we needed more juice, coffee, eggs etc. The view from the breakfast courtyard is also great. The location was perfect with lots of amazing restaurants right on the doorstep and all the sights close by but the rooms were still very private and quiet. Everyone who worked here and the owner were very welcoming, we received complimentary sparkling wine and a lovely signed book of the owner's photography to remember our trip. I would happily stay here again.

Very nice hotel made of few buildings with only few suites, which guarantees enough privacy.
Private transfer from the airport and back - not possible to do by taxi due to the location.
Good location for Old Town walks, amazing breakfast with an amazing staff!
Very good job from the chambermaids.
The most expensive hotel we ever booked - for our honeymoon - and not sure if it was worth the money.
Too loud in the nights - no sound isolation as stated here on Booking - a plus was a change of room for even bigger suite for last nights arranged by the front office manager. Looks quite isolated from the photos, in the reality there is a bar and other restaurants just opposite the hotel.
Still we felt a bit uncomfortable due to "reserved" communication from the front office manager, probably due to the fact that we needed to cancel or at least postpone the booking for this year due to Covid and there was quite a big discussion about it. Definitely didn´t feel the motto of the place - come as a guest and leave as a friend.

A excellent location- Very nice staff- A fantastic room (it was the best they have) with a beautiful view on the city-
No free water bottle when you pay 1000 bucks for 4 days in Greece in a Covid period!!!

They made us feel very safe and had clear covid safety protocols in place. Staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. Their recommendations were very good as well (restaurants, massage). Breakfast was plenty!

The room was great, very spacious, with two bathrooms and had everything you need.
The place is really lovely and cozy. The only thing I didn't like was loud music from the bar next to the hotel till late at night.
10.0 / 10.0
Location, staff, facilities, thoughtfulness put on every aspect, welcome champagne, room decor/ feel, bathroom/ shower, restaurant suggestion, the massage arranged, everything.
Due to covid, the shared jacuzzi was not operational, only the private ones. No biggie. Why dip in a jacuzzi when you have the sea.
