Very chill and cozy. The space is good to stay around reading or working online

The bed was comfortable, staff were helpful and friendly.
It’s s bit rundown and could use some maintenance and upgrades.

Nice atmosphere!
Bathrooms are not great. Functional, showers are perfect temperature, but not a very pleasant experience. Sometimes the sink was clogged, or there was no toilet paper or no soap, but there are many bathrooms so you can always find an alternative.

The staff were very helpful and I loved all the little outdoor sitting areas.
The mattresses were awful! The third bunk was too hard to get up to!

Close to Cinelandia, to restaurants and bars. Nice, big house with hidden corners. Good breakfast.
The neighborhood isn't safe.

Friendly staff, comfy pillows, very nice balconies with hammocks to enjoy the scenery, in walking distance to Cinelandia metro station
Only 5 toilets/showers for the whole place, toilets were almost always dirty, some people don’t know how to use a flush, very hot during the night

Fantastic place if travelling solo, super sociable, everyone hangs out at breakfast and dinner time. Made some great friends there, sad to leave!

Centrally located, very social place, lovely decorated, breakfast basic but good, nice vibe overall.
We booked the suite. The mattress was curved, the bathroom smelled bad and the faucet was broken, so that they had to put a bin under the sink to collect the water.
The area did not feel safe. We asked the recipient about the neighborhood and were told it's safe. The same day another guest told us that there had been four incidents two days earlier where hostel guests had been robbed in front of the hostel.

Relatively centrally located within Rio
Staff was meh. "Are you ...? You check-out, now!" even though I wasn't late yet. Location is quite sketchy, multiple people got robbed on the same night in the street in front of the hostel. Talked to people who checked in the next day, didn't get any explicit instructions on having to watch themselves around the neighborhood.

Everything works, the bedding is clean and the bed comfortable. The area is quite pretty.
The shared toilet and bathrooms are often dirty as people don't clean up after themselves. The place is in an old building and feels rather grimey.

The property is full of modern art. The decorations paintings and pictures are very artistic

The staff is really nice and helpful. The hostel is located near Lapa and the Santa Teresa tram just passes by the hostel. The terraces are very nice to relax.

Great house managed by wonderful hosts, I had a one night reservation but ended up staying for a whole week. I found very good vibes, rich breakfast, stable WiFi, clean and cozy rooms and common areas. Warmly recommended!!
