This hostel was on the West Highland Way route . It offered hostel and camping options. The hostel was well run and very clean. The kitchen facilities were excellent -lots of tables . Helpful staff.
An earlier check in rather than the strict 3 pm would have prevented the line up at the door at 3 pm .

En-suite bathroom & I didn't have to share a room.
No window in the bedroom, the light could have been brighter.

We where backpacking as a group of 6 and had plenty of room and Chelsea on the desk when we arrived made us ver welcome.

Clean and comfortable room, with a clean shower room. Second stay in a bunk house and again was pleasantly surprised. The staff member we spoke to in the morning was lovely, friendly and helpful

The common kitchen and eating area is convinient.
The service! The receptionist was extremely impatient and unfriendly. Reminded me how this could ruin your experience.
Also, the bed mattresses are tough and uncomfortable.
In the shower, you need to re-press the knob to get water every few seconds.

The Kitchen area and tables was well thought out and comfortably. Staff were lovely.
Generally very good.

Great value stay in Kinlochleven along the West Highland Way. Met our expectations being affordable and a hostel. 4 person room was comfortable enough and good to have a bathroom in the room. Kitchen facilities looked excellent although we didn't use these, and nice lounge areas for guests with included tea and coffee.
Having a timer in the shower - you have to keep pressing the button for the water to keep running.

sheets n pillows didn’t look fresh..

The location is very convenient for hiking the West Highland Way.
Rooms (beds and bathroom) felt a bit outdated.

Location was good. One has options of hotel, camping and glamping pods here.
Rooms were too tiny. Very dim light in the room. No channels on the TV. Only 1 towel was provided for entire family. Bathroom could be better.

Very friendly owner. Clean and tidy. Very good value for money. Great location in the village.

Closeness to some fantastic walks Oban and Fort William not to far. Great place to use as base to explore the Highlands

Great kitchen, good shower. Friendly, helpful staff.
Plug socket in an awkward position. No mat for the shower.

Loved it!
Excellent location on the WHW. First accommodation you come to.
Lovely welcoming staff, spotlessly clean common areas as well as the room and en suite.
Ahhhh the en suite........ our first private bathroom in 3 days - what luxury!
We treated ourselves to some of their large, white, fluffy, bath sheets (£2) as the occasion demanded.
The communal kitchen was very well appointed with absolutely every gadget you could need.
My bed was the comfiest I'd slept in all week!
The beds were partially made up for us on arrival - no fiddling with duvet cover!
This was my first Youth Hostel experience (at the grand old age of 42!) but it won't be my last!
I also loved the whole of Kinlochleven, what a gem!
Absolutely nothing!
There's nothing that could be enhanced about this little gem of a place in a beautiful area of the world.
Thank you for having us and can't wait to see you again.
