About this apartment rental
Completely renovated with high-end finishes, this condo is in a four-unit mid-century nestled on the south slope of Queen Anne, one of Seattle’s most charming and vibrant neighbourhoods. Known for its gorgeous homes and iconic views at nearby Kerry Park, Queen Anne boasts two lively and unique districts for shopping and entertainment and both are easily accessible from the condo:
Upper Queen Anne's shopping center is lined with trendy shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, a pharmacy, several banks, and grocers including Trader Joe’s, B&E Meats & Seafood, and a Farmers’ Market late May to October.
Uptown (also known as Lower Queen Anne) has cafes, restaurants and pubs plus the Metropolitan Market.
Uptown is home to the Seattle Center which has some of the City's most well-known attractions and venues including the Space Needle, McCaw Hall (Seattle Opera and Pacific Northwest Ballet), Bagley Wright Theater (Seattle Rep), Climate Pledge Arena, Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), Cinema Uptown (venue for Seattle’s International Film Festival), Pacific Science Center, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center, Chihuly Garden and Glass, and the Monorail (for a quick hop to the heart of downtown and Pike Place Market).
Ideally situated–close but not too close to the Seattle Center and Downtown–the condo is near enough to be convenient but far enough from the hustle and bustle of the City.
Whether you’re in town for business, visiting family and friends, daytripping around Seattle, or venturing further afield to some of the wonders of the Pacific Northwest this property makes a great home base.
The condo has lightning-fast Wi-Fi with its own dedicated signal; premium cable package with ESPN and Netflix for the 55" Sony HDTV in the living room and the 47" TVs in each bedroom.
The condo features high-end appliances in the kitchen, a full-size washer/dryer, and a balcony with adirondack chairs and Weber grill. Radiant central heating and air conditioning provide year-round comfort. The condo also comes with one dedicated parking space.
Owner lives in a separate condo on the property and is available to assist as needed.

This place is in a great location, in great condition and has a super host. We never had to ask for a thing. Clear directions, all the little details buttoned up. John has this dialed in. This location seemed to be 10-15 minutes to everything in the city. Neighborhood has so much character and is filled with greats shops and places to eat. Not to mention the killer view of the city a just a short block up the street. We will definitely be back!

The unit was nicely equipped and had enough space that the four of us weren’t constantly in each other’s space. The deck had a decent view and was a great place for my wife and I to relax in peace. Location was perfect. Walked to Seattle Center, shopping on top of Queen Anne, lots of restaurants. Easy drive to everything else we cared about.

Great location especially for those that like to walk. 1-3 miles from nearly everything you could want to do near downtown Seattle, Fremont and Ballard. Nice condo for the 4 of us. Well equipped Kitchen. Comfy beds. Great deck. Nothing fancy, but perfectly nice.

We love this place, and have stayed here repeatedly. The host is very responsive to inquiries. The property is well maintained and clean, and the kitchen well stocked. The bed is comfortable and has nice linens. It’s a great location for us, we can walk to many things and it’s close to bus stops. Hope to be back soon!

The condo is lovely and in a great location if you don’t want the noise of city center. It is walkable to pikes and the needle if you are ok with hills. What makes this a superior Vrbo is the attention to detail. Upon arrival we were welcomed with bagels cream cheese and jelly for the morning. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking needs (oil, spices, coffee, tea, cocoa, and creamer in the fridge) a bottle of wine and a meat cheese were left for us which is lovely after a long flight. I had asked about early check in well in advance a was emailed with out checking back that it would be fine. The shower is to die for!!!! Complete with ample fluffy towels and two robes per bedroom. The condo is well taken care and the landscaping is fabulous. We truly can’t say enough about the place, best Vrbo ever!!!!

This was the perfect spot for me and my friends during our week-long stay in Seattle. The location and views could not have been better. Just a couple of blocks from Kerry Park. The host was nice enough to leave us a few treats which was a fun surprise. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels. It very very much like being at home. We would definitely recommend to others and stay there again ourselves.

The location was perfect for our family. It was close to all the touristy things in Seattle. John was very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again when in Seattle.

This was a perfect place for my daughter and I to stay in Seattle. The location was excellent, since we have friends who live on Queen Anne North. The cute condo was very clean and had all the necessities for a very comfortable stay. We will definitely book this place again for our next visit.

Place smelled a bit funky but there were windows and doors that worked well to air it out. Bed was comfortable. Texted the owner about the missing second key and never heard back which was weird. Overall, fine but nothing special.

Clean and quiet condo with nice kitchen and ample supplies to cook Thanksgiving dinner and pies for my family. Admired multiple sunsets from Kerry Park (just a block uphill) and walking distance to Seattle Center, downtown, and various shops/restaurants on Queen Anne. Appreciated the parking space and the coffee/tea/charcuterie/chocolates that were provided.

This apartment exceeded our expectations in every respect. In addition to its central location and dedicated parking spot, it was spacious, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed for coffee and breakfast. Instructions were clear and check in seamless. We have stayed in many VRBOs and this one is at the top of our list to return.

Lovely and comfortable property that is an easy walk to dining and activities. Very comfortable beds and a great kitchen. We didn’t use our rental car often, but greatly appreciated the reserved parking space. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was clean & beautiful- just like the pics in the listing. John Watkins (owner) was very friendly and helpful. He let us have a late checkout, as we had a late flight. The snacks & food ( beagles & cream cheese , half & half, coffee, tea) were much appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, condiments as well as good quality appliances, dishes etc. The place was very comfortable and is in a nice neighborhood. The only surprise was that we had to climb a set of stairs to reach the living quarters. So, taking the luggage was challenging, but we managed fine.
All in all, I would highly recommend this unit and hope to stay here in the future.

This condo in Queen Anne district was perfect for our visit to the area. The location is great for getting around to different sites in the city and very close to Kerry Park, where you get fantastic views of the city. The condo has everything you need and the host was very thoughtful, leaving a bottle of wine and snacks, as well as coffee and breakfast items. It was a very memorable visit.

Everything was wonderful! Location, special touches, parking! And heated floors in the bathroom were lovely!! I’m not a bath girl, but I certainly could have fit! They thought of everything when they did their updates.

This property exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. It was close to basically everything and was very convenient for us to attend the Seahawks game. We can’t wait to visit again soon.

Condo is great, on a lovely street, landscaping with shrubs and flowers, porch with a view. It was clean, beds super comfy; coffee, tea, real cream, bagels, cheese, wine, snacks, every utensil you would need, flat screen in every room, great internet, close to everything, including public transportation. So many thoughtful touches like reading lights, white noise machines even though it is quiet, blackout drapes. Easy check-in and out. Manager responded quickly. We would definitely stay here again. Keep in mind: stairs, but it is Seattle--walking can be steep hills.

The apartment in Lower Queen Anne was the best vacation home we have ever had. A great location (walking distance to the Space Needle), very clean, very well equipped. The landlord was very accommodating and thought of everything. We were jet lagged due to the time change from Europe and he had put out bagels, salami, cheese, jam and butter so we could rest right in the apartment. Everything else was there too: coffee/keurig, soap, lotion and much more. Communication was very easy. The beds are of very good quality. A really great apartment.

My family and I were looking for something wothin walking distance of coffee and groceries, but still the feel of a residential neighborhood. This place was it! the kitchen was well stocked, the beds and linens were all comfortable, and was responsive to my need for help with the sofa bed. Would rent again!

Wonderful location. I was in Seattle to visit my son and this was a great location for all our adventures. Lovely place, very clean, beautiful grounds. Check-in was flawless. Wonderfully equipped kitchen. There was even a bottle of wine and munchies to greet us and all the coffee we could drink. Never an issue with parking as it has a dedicated space. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Great place to stay for our family of 3! Fully stocked unit with plenty of room for everyone. Parking spot a plus since street parking is tight in a hilly neighborhood. There was a welcome package of wine, treats, cheeses, and even a bag of bagels!
Our flight was delayed multiple times but the owner was sympathetic to our early morning check-in (3 am).
Area is safe with plenty of walkable or drivable locations. Very easy to get to the sights but preferred to get around via car.
Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!

We came for a concert and brought my 5 year old and nanny. The neighborhood was so quiet. Very easy to get to some great food. Only call out is that on the way back you’ve got some serious hills to climb which is a bit challenging with the stroller. We’d absolutely book again purely for the neighborhood.

This place was amazing, the owners thought of everything. Full size soaps for the bathroom, laundry and kitchen. When you walk in it is so warm and inviting, felt just like home. We had wine and meat and cheese ready for us. They even provided bagels, cream cheese and jellys for 1 morning. Never have i ever stayed at a vrbo with a host who went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The neighborhood was super quite and the location was just within walking distnace of the SpaceNeedle and a quick uber drive to Pike place market. Next time we are westcoast bound definitely going to try to book this place again.

The property manager/owner provided top notch services. The welcome refreshments included wine, cheese and pepperoni, Seattle Chocolates, etc. the beds are super comfy. The water flow in the bathroom is strong. Everything else is superb. The refrigerator and the dishwasher are both premium. The best parts ate the location and the gorgeous view.

A great condo on the hill overlooking the city. Clean, comfy, and close to everything. The owner has a real gem here. A+++!!!

Deluxe accommodations and a great location! Food and wine treats left for us on arrival was a very nice touch. One of the best VRBO we’ve experienced.
5.0 / 5.0
We stayed here 4-5 years ago and loved it. We were so happy to find it still available. Unlike many other more corporate feeling listings, this one has more personal touches. There were coffee, tea organic 1/2&1/2, wine and snacks waiting to welcome us. The garden at the front and side of the apartments is one of the most beautiful and well maintained I’ve seen in Seattle. It makes the entrance even more welcoming! The unit itself really felt like a “home away from home “.

The condo is in a great location within walking distance of the Seattle Center and many restaurants. The Condo itself was in great shape and was very quiet. The welcome snacks and wine were a great touch we hadn't experienced yet.

Can't express how great this place is! Fantastic location, 10 minute walk to Seattle Center, quiet neighborhood, and a private parking spot. The unit is very clean, well stocked, and has all the amenities you'll need. The property has gorgeous landscaping, beautiful (and fragrant flowers), and is continuously visited by a variety of birds.
This is my first option for future trips to Seattle.

Great location
Very nice

No problems checking in and the place was spotless, with plenty of room for up to 4. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was the bomb! Heated floors and a super deep tub give it a spa like feel. Its a very quiet building and we only heard noises from the other condos once or twice. My only complaint is that we couldnt get the bedroom to warm up enough. Luckily enough there are extra blankets to use. You can also see the water from the balcony. If you are coming to Seattle as a tourist, take a few minutes to map out the key sites you want to visit and make sure the vrbo youre looking at is nearby. Uber is not cheap in Seattle!
Many thanks to the owner for the cozy condo!!

My first trip to Seattle and I had high hopes for this property based on photos and reviews, and it was even better than I imagined. The location is a sweet, peaceful neighborhood away from the traffic and city bustle, yet is only a few easy walking blocks away from it all. The sunlit 2nd story space is clean, bright, has every convenience including a great shower, beautiful new appliances, comfy beds and linens, and our host left us a wonderful variety of snacks and coffees. It made our whole trip easy.

Everything was wonderful. The condo comes equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay — a well appointed kitchen, a lovely outdoor space, and even snacks. We walked to a ton of restaurants and there are two grocery stores within a few blocks. The grounds are very pretty, too, so you feel great when coming back after a long day out.

Quiet, clean apartment as described in the listing. Neighborhood is convenient to downtown and Seattle's best. Amenities and creature comforts are among the best I've had!!!

This was our second time staying in one of John’s condos. His properties are loaded with amenities and the extras he provides ( bagels for the next morning & a great bottle of wine) are only some of the reasons we came back. The Queen Anne neighborhood is beautiful and walkable to nearby great restaurants as well as downtown attractions. The balcony we had access to was an added treat for a place to relax. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks for everything. Jocelyn K
