Very clean, family friendly, pet friendly
George was great! Our family had a nice time in the lake Sunapee region. We will come back and recommend this property.

Great house for a family get away
This was a great house for a family getaway! My husband, myself, my four teenage kids and my elderly mother stayed here for a long weekend at the lake. The rental included a parking/entrance pass for a great little private beach. It was also close by the State Park, which we visited after checkout.
Lots of beds to accommodate everyone. The air conditioning did not seem to get all the way up to the 3rd floor loft, but with the fans provided the entire house was very comfortable - and the temperature was in the 80s all weekend.
George was very easy to contact with questions and had a very quick response time.
This is a great property and George is a great owner!

Good house for an active family
The house was ideal for our small family reunion. We were a short drive to Lake Sunapee state park and Mt. Sunapee and the house had plenty of games in the yard to play.

My only complaint would be the very uncomfortable bed!
I would return. The house was clean. Plenty of room. The bed that was in the one room with only one bed was uncomfortable and very small

Lake Sunapee could very well be the nicest lake in all of New England depending on what you are looking for. In my opinion , there is no finer place anywhere for a lake vacation. (I have been to five continents, and the N Pole - Ex Navy)George (the owner) takes excellent care of the property & ensures everything is there that you need. This guy is over the top. He missed his calling, he definitely should have been a concierge at the Four Seasons. The house itself, while older, is very well kept. Its very large, has three full baths & marble kitchen. You could skip a stone to Mount Sunapee skiing or Lake Sunapee.Dewey Beach access is included in your rental. They have free loaner paddle boards & row boats of all typesIll rent again for sure

Great, convenient, and cozy!
I recently rented this house for a weekend stay and it was what we expected it to be and more. The space was great as we had 14 guests total. I also love the 3 full baths and the attic “suite”. I only thing I was bummed about was the small, dated TV. The owner was nice and prompt with his responses to our questions. Overall, a nice and cozy spot to stay when you and a few friends want to go snowboarding in this area. I would definitely recommend this rental to my friends!

Great Home, Great Stay
My friends and I had a great time during our weekend stay at this beautiful home. There were 11 of us but there was plenty of room. The owner was friendly and helpful. Over just a few emails, I was able to know what supplies we needed to bring and what supplies were already at the house. The house is very convenient to Mt. Sunapee and the highway.
Cleaning the house at the end of our stay could not have been easier. There is a washer and dryer, a vaccum, and cleaning supplies available. We cleaned up any mess we made and I received the cleaning deposit back without a problem.
We will definitely be staying here again.

beware of stay
I have rented vacation homes many many times before and this was by far the most complicated and unpleasant stay. From communication with the owner, to trying to rent the place, to getting back my safety deposit. Although there were some dirty pots in the kitchen and dirty sheets on a few beds at my arrival, and I had left the place clean and tidy, the owner did not give me back the deposit. You were expected to clean, but yet there were inadequate cleaning supplies. For the large amount of money your going to spend, be prepared to spend a good amount of your precious vacation time cleaning the house from top to bottom.
Although we had cars with winter tires on them, we had a really hard time getting up the steep driveway since there was a lot of snow covering it. We had to back all the way out into the main busy road, to get a running start to get up to the driveway. The house itself is comfortable and nice but very small living room hang out space. The kitchen doesn't have many options for cooking supplies. It helped there were 3 bathrooms and it was also convenient to Mt Sunapee.

The Sunapee New Hampshire Ski House
The price seemed reasonable to get my New England family together for New Year’s Eve and week before. The house was small with odd sleeping arrangements but worked out fairly well. We had to do a bit of cleaning when arriving especially fridge and kitchen floor was dirty. Many kitchen items were missing so I went out and bought some (large cook pot, cork screw etc). The TV had no cable or DVD as advertised. We are from far away (Alaska) so could not take the untouched food or new supplies with us. We gave a lot away but left some unused items. We cleaned the entire house the last day, did all of the laundry, remade all of the beds and left it in better condition than when we got there. After spending the entire day cleaning we had to dash to Logan Airport to catch out flight. The land lord seemed so nice when speaking to him took advantage of us and never returned the large damage deposit we gave him!! My husband and I are working medical professionals (MD, NP) and have rented many ski houses over the years and have never NOT gotten the deposit back........ Watch out if you rent this one!!

Great Family Getaway Spot
We had a fairly large group staying in one house and we had a great time. The house was centrally located and very easy to get to.Plenty of space for the 12 of us. We did notice that the ice maker in the freezer was not working and that the cable television lineup was not terribly great (my brother and nephews could not watch the Red Sox or the Little League World Series.) But all in all we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this property. We love The Anchorage Restaurant and The Quack Shack in Sunapee Harbor.

Skier's Home a way from Home
We had a very nice month staying in this rental property. The landlord was available and helpful when we had questions. Since it was in the winter, we were concerned about the snow plowing etc. This was no problem and we did have a few storms. We found the house very comfortable. The children loved the third floor "suite". Everything was clean and neat especially since it was so newly renovated. We didn't eat out but once and did enjoy the Salt Hill Pub close by.
