About this house rental
I must emphasize the peace and quiet aspect of this property since noise carries easily over water and I ask that the neighbors be respected. This rustic house sits on a private lot just 1/2 mile from Rt One at the end of a dirt road. Decor is eclectic but comfortable - -nothing fancy. A short flight of steps provide access to the rocky shore. Three private bedrooms (one on main floor) and a 4th room upstairs connecting the two bedrooms. There are 2 baths (one with tub) plus 1/2 bath up. Kitchen is well applianced and a screened-in porch provides wonderful ever-changing views of Penobscot Bay.

This is our 6th stay at this wonderful cottage! It is perfectly maintained for our 3 generation family and the view of the ocean is just beautiful! The fishing and water activities are enjoyed by many. And we always enjoy the surrounding communities, restaurants, and lighthouses! I would give it 10 stars if I could!

From our first visit in 2017, we knew the house was someone's home. It has become our July (for a few weeks) home. Everything we could want is there. Everything we need is there--quiet, beauty, space to be alone, space to gather everyone. There is even room for fairies in the garden.

We had a great time at this property in Stockton Springs. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back porch and enjoying the beautiful weather. There is plenty to do and many wonderful restaurants in the vicinity. Communication was great and Kate is a lovely host.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very comfortable , well stocked with essentials and well maintained. Gary was gracious to greet us and available if needed. Be sure to check out the red notebook for local information. Our first trip to main, so it was helpful finding things to see and do. Highly recommend Anglar's restaurant.

The property is well off the road at the tip of a lovely cove. It is very quiet, with a large yard and beautiful views of the bay. The cottage is very well appointed and the screened in porch is the perfect place to read or chat on a bright sunny day. We loved our stay there.

We've come to this house for years and it never ceases to be anything but a pleasure. Kate is a great host and is always updating the property. This year there was a new dishwasher and grill.

We had a fantastic week at your beautiful home. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us! The location was perfect for visiting with family in Belfast and exploring midcoast Maine. Sunrise on the bay was spectacular! Would definitely book this house again.

We absolutely found the best of Maine in this home located on Penobscot Bay. We had everything we needed from the well equipped kitchen to the outdoor furniture for sitting and enjoying the views. This home is centrally located along the coast allowing us to do day trips down to Boothbay Harbor or up to Acadia National Park. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the best Maine has to offer!

When renting online sight unseen sometimes you are surprised and not in a good way but this home was much nicer than shown in the photos! All the reviews for this property are accurate, the owners have taken every consideration of your stay into count. Things you didn’t even know you needed/wanted was supplied and the attention to detail was amazing! Loved the place and loved the location! Weather could have cooperated better as it rained almost every day but thank goodness the house was so nice it wasn’t an issue.

This property was situated just right for trip to Acadia as well as shopping in Belfast. We are 5 family members in our 70’s and the space in the house was really wonderful. Late afternoons on the porch were a great time to visit together around the table. We all highly recommend Osprey Reach.

We've been coming for years and one of the reasons is how comfortable the house is. Lots of room to move around in, comfortable chairs for sitting and that wonderful porch to watch the water. We'll be back again.

This is our 4th family stay and it was once again perfect. The weather was sunny and the water provided successful fishing and the grandkids played daily in the ocean! The screened porch allowed that majestic view and a great place for the family to gather! Simply a perfect vacation!!

Just Wonderful
We should not live for our vacations, but my family does. This home is lovely to be in, set on a very private, bayside property with a quiet that restores us--all of us. For us, it is perfection.

Fabulous Home
This is a perfect home for being on the water in Maine. Very relaxing and a very well appointed property. This home is close to many activities and sights to see in Maine. Our family loved it so much they wanted us to see if the owners would sell it. We will be back.

Wonderful, quiet, clean retreat!
This place has been stocked with a thoughtful collection of needed items...kitchen items, cleaning items, bedding, reading resources, wi-fi, satellite tv, beach and outdoor equipment. Location is exquisite! Two full baths limiting, considering the number of beds. Lighting in bathrooms needs to be brighter . Very clean!

Peaceful vacation spot
Quiet place to relax and enjoy playing games, reading or just
sitting in the nice yard or on the porch watching the seals, birds and boats! Plenty of places to go for a hike or kayaking. We've been 2 years in a row and would recommend this large house which has everything you might need for a pleasant stay!

Another fabulous week
This is our third visit and it certainly didn’t disappoint! Accommodations are 10 star and the location on the water is heavenly. Many in our party caught striper and the kids loved the water! Others canoed and kayaked! And we ate well!!

We've stayed here a number of years always coming back because the house is comfortable and quiet, we're always taken well care of, and the view from the screened in porch is wonderful. This year was no different.

Perfect Maine Getaway
Our family enjoyed our stay immensely. Perfect jumping off point to Acadia National Park, Deer Isle, Sears Island, Penobscot Observatory, and Belfast. We enjoyed long walks on shoreline at low tide and bonfires in the evening. Thank you for having us!

What a great house
The view, the large lawn, the privacy, and most especially the screened in porch make this a truly exceptional property. Enjoy meals on the porch or just enjoy the view of the water.

A piece of Maine Heaven for a week!
We loved the house---the view was amazing and sitting on the screened front porch every morning. listening to the loons, the birds and the quiet was the perfect getaway. The house had EVERYTHING you might need, have never stayed at a place that was this prepared. There were plenty of nooks to relax and read, we used the grill a few nights, and on our one "rainy day" we did a puzzle. Temps dropped into high 50's every night so great sleeping weather too. the location was perfect--one hour to Acadia and there was lots to see and do locally. The house had brochures and info about it all! We went to Castine, Surrey, Belfast, Ellsworth, Bucksport/Fort Knox & Observatory (super cool!) adn had ice cream throughout the area. Took many hikes./walks, toured historic homes, shopped, went to the beach and just enjoyed the beauty of this part of Maine. We had a great time and were sad to leave!

Perfection.
This was our third year staying at Denny's Point with our family and it was like coming home. The house is a home with everything we could want including family photos. It is convenient to everything we like to do. But we don't have to leave to have a wonderful water view. It is all there. We all love the house and property. Staying at Denny's Point is perfect.

A great getaway by the sea
I brought our entire family -- two daughters and husbands plus two grandchildren to experience Maine in the best possible way, and I must say that having this wonderful house at our disposal for the week made it perfect. We toured Acadia and Bar Harbor and spent time in Belfast, Searsport, Bangor and Camden. Our granddaughters especially enjoyed the beach at nearby Sandy Point Park. Young's Lobster Pound provided us with a great dinner on a drizzly, chilly evening. If only Maine wasn't so far away from Pennsylvania! Two thumbs up for Denny's Point!

Amazing Place to Stay on Coastal Maine!!!!
This was the perfect place to stay for our three generation family of 14!!! This beautiful, spacious cottage had everything we needed and then some! It is located on a point into the bay, with no neighbors, and the huge yard was perfect for the grandchildren to play in with the toys available on the incredible screened porch. Games and puzzles and fire pit were available for night time activities. We all enjoyed the waterfront and the canoe was used for fishing and watching the seals and dolphins. Nature at its best!! Can't wait to return!!!! Would give it a 10star rating if I could!!

This home is welcoming and comfortable. The quiet restores balance and the beauty inspires energy. For us it is the perfect vacation spot--privacy AND access to so many fun things to do.

Amazingly clean and well equipped with cooking/laundry/cleaning/play supplies.
We chose this property based on proximity to our relative's home in Stockton Springs for a week of family reunion activities. We couldn't have been more pleased! We are a three generation group of 6 adults and 3 kids ages 1, 4 and 9. The location was so beautiful with views of the Penobscott and access to the tidal rock beach. The kids had daily adventures with snails and seaweed and tide pools and the toddler discovered the joys of dropping rocks into water to elicit splashes and giggles. There was lots of mostly boisterous hammock swinging, evening fires, wiffle ball and beanbag games plus quiet contemplation and book reading in the Adirondack chairs. The kitchen is remarkably well equipped for family cooking, lobster cooking and even baking lessons with our cousin the pastry chef. Caretaker Gary was prompt and helpful on arrival and departure and quickly answered our only question about recycling midweek. We loved the house and the whole week and would highly recommend it to all!

Wonderful property
We spent four weeks here and had a wonderfully relaxed time. The house is very comfortable, well furnished, and the kitchen well equipped. But the highlight for us was the screened in porch. Never too hot or too cold, no bugs, and a great view of the water.

1st time to Maine and my whole family loved our stay. The house was perfect with plenty of room.
Plenty of space inside and out. We took advantage of the canoe a few times. Enjoyed Smores around the fire and played frisbee with the whole gang.
We loved our stay.

It was wonderful!
We had a wonderful 9 days at this home on the beautiful coast of Maine. The house is large with plenty of different areas to spend time inside, comfortable screened in porch with a view of the bay and a large waterfront lawn. There is also a small deck by the stairs to access the water to sit in complete privacy and enjoy the ocean breeze. It's meticulously clean and has everything you'd need in the large kitchen. Lots of games, puzzles, cards, etc. It's a great place to stay and relax at and also about a 45 minute ride to Bar Harbor and Cadillac Mountain. Nearby harbor towns, shops and other attractions as well. We went fishing off the ocean rocks every morning and evening! What a great week of quiet and relaxation....We would recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful house and setting
A lovely two weeks. Perfectly appointed house - we wanted for nothing. A gorgeous yard and view of the bay. Lots of lawn toys for the grandchildren, comfy chairs for us, a fire pit for evening parties, and beautiful star filled sky. Only minor quibble is the grill on the porch tends to send smoke into the house and set off smoke alarms. Had to run a fan to use the grill. But overall, loking firward to coming back next year.
